KING'S COTTAGE

Great communication from host.

This is my 3rd time at this cabin, but the last time was 5 years ago, so I had forgotten how amazing this property is! The cabin is older and rustic, but comfy, clean and well supplied. You don't go there for the cabin anyway, it is the endless trails, beautiful woods and hills, 2 lakes, and not another soul in sight. My young dogs and I had a blast doing 3 hikes a day, outdoor bonfires, grilling, woodstove, I even tried the sauna for the 1st time when my friend came to join me for a couple days, very nice, I can't wait to go back!

The perfect location to get away from it all: cozy, quiet, peaceful. Quintessential Northwoods experience!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The King's Cottage! Everything was very clean and organized, just as described. The kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. Bathroom was a bit tight but nothing we couldn't handle. The books on the shelves were fun to look through! We liked the seclusion of the cabin while we could still be close by neighboring towns if we wanted to venture out to explore or to pick things up if we needed. The Ten Point Bar was also very fun, great food and staff! We did take the canoe out and enjoyed a little jaunt around the lake just down the way from the cabin. Richard was very helpful with the information packet sent to us via mail prior to our arrival, we really appreciated that. Overall I would highly recommend staying at The King and we cannot wait to return to explore some more!
