Location was good, just outside of west Jefferson and close to the blue ridge parkway. House was clean, good hot water, bed was comfortable, well stocked for cooking, one portable air conditioner upstairs but it kept the place comfortable with temps in the ‘90’s outside. Decent yard for the dog to explore. Neighborhood seems nice, no loud parties close by. Would definitely consider staying again!

Adorable little house. Very clean and cozy. The outdoor area on the ground level needs lighting, but other than that it was great.

The unit smelled mildewy. We paid a housekeeping fee, but had a long list of chores to do before we left. The upstairs commode handle would stick, leaving it running. Would have liked some tips on where to set the heater, we spent the first night going up and down the stairs several times during the night to try to get it comfortable upstairs ... not good !! The ceiling fan/light upstairs where you had two settings: on fan at one setting/light or off, no light, no fan.

It is as it’s posted - cute little place for a couples get away. We brought a baby gate for top of the stairs to get our dog and toddler up there with no fear of them falling down the steep stairs. There was no AC so there a box fan and a window upstairs we opened and blew air in at night. It was very cute and well stocked, we did find some bugs and killed those, but generally very clean. We enjoyed our stay and it was pretty much as expected! The company renting this out sent some confusing emails that said my payment was due Jan 01 1971, but otherwise it was easy and fine. Lol
