The Log Cabin Experience in Todd: EVERY Amenity!

We’ve stayed a few cabins in NC and TN and this by far has been the best one yet. The cabin is beautiful and so spacious. We were a group of 9 and there was enough room for everyone. The kitchen is fully equipped. We enjoyed prepping various meals as a family. We were impressed on how nice the cabin was inside. The owners sure put a lot of thoughts into the decor. The Master room was enormous and had a great view to the mountains. Since we were two families staying together, it was hard picking who got the master room. We all wanted the room. I suggest making the first level (basement) into another master room :). Our kids loved playing with the pin pong table and the various board games provided in the cabin. Will definitely consider booking this cabin again in the future.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this home. It was absolutely beautiful and decorated so tastefully. The location was great - close to West Jefferson and 30 minutes from Boone. The homes and properties around the house were beautiful as well. We enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table as a family and the view was nice! The master bath and laundry area was amazing. We loved having updated kitchen and bathrooms - it just made our stay even nicer. My only critique is that there were a few cleanliness issues - very small, picky things but it made me question the cleaning services prior to us arriving. A few cobwebs here and there, grubby remote controls and the stairs and loft area didn't seem to be fully vacuumed. But otherwise, the home appeared to be neat and clean and we would absolutely stay here again.

The property was spot on as the listing stated. It was in great condition, plenty of linens, bedding and utensils in the kitchen. The views were great, each night, it was awesome to see the sun set over the mountains off of the main deck. The hot tub was great; only recommendation here would be to turn up the thermostat to make it a tad warmer. Other than that, if you're looking for a perfect mountain trip in Western, N.C., this is your place.
