It was a lovely rental, great location, well decorated and very clean and very well equipped It is a lovely place and at the end of some difficult days we came up and sat in front of the fire and felt renewedHowever, the two sections of stairs up to the unit are daunting …we are 72, 78 and 79 and hauling the suitcases up and down, particularly tge second set of stairs was intimidating. Anybody with mobility issues should think twice about this unit.

We had a great time in Nelson. The condo was as it’s listed and is in a perfect spot in Nelson. We were able to walk to dinners, shopping, and the lake. We enjoyed the deck too. I would highly recommend this unit.

Great downtown location. superior finishes and linens, super kitchen, well equipped for a rental. Access a little difficult (up 2 flights of stairs). Parking problematic.

Spacious suite with well-equipped kitchen. Bright and airy. Located in the heart of the action, but very quiet inside. Pub below had an Irish music concert one night we enjoyed from the balcony. Comfortable seating in living area - nice and cozy.

Would have never guessed this nice of a place could be in a historical old part of town. Only issue I had, was accessibility and parking availability - Paying to park (this wasn't mentioned at the time of booking). Also cancellation / modification of booking wasn't clearly stated that I recall. All this aside - this is a beautiful spot, accommodations were immaculately taken care of, and the hosts were great for detailing the guidance of check in / out.

Property was clean and great location to downtown. It is on the second level, so a full flight of stairs to get in, and parking is 6 foot 8 so if you have a larger vehicle, need to park a ways away and pay.

Great kitchen, fully loaded. 2nd bedroom did not have a closet or dresser for clothing. No dining table only counter to eat on. Washer and dryer were excellent. Great outdoor area if weather is good. Bbq worked great and was a nice bonus. Fabulous location right in the heart of downtown. Hume hotel was right next door and excellent food.

Very clean, well set-up/stocked/furnished with very comfortable beds. Great location. Some problems with check-in, that were dealt with. Weak wi-fi (used our hotspots). Would happily stay again in this condo.

The location was great and the unit had a nice layout, but unfortunately it was filthy. The towels were grey, the bath mats were blackened on the bottom, the duvet covers were dusty and stained, and the walls had yellow goo and dirty handprints all over them. When we raised our concerns, the owners were aggressive, dismissive, and utterly rude. The female owner in particular cut me off and refused to hear us out, insisting that the dirty items had been washed and were just stained. She even admitted that during busy season they don’t wash duvet covers — they just spray things with Resolve, which is unacceptable. Vrbo reviewed our photos and agreed it was bad enough that we qualified to move elsewhere. It’s a shame, because the space itself could have been nice, but the condition and the way we were treated made this a very unpleasant stay.

Lovely, modern, fully stocked, great location, enjoyed the big balcony.The cleaning could be better. The hall bathroom shower was not as clean as it should have been, the white towels were stained and grayed, there were items left in the dryer, the throw rugs were damp, the sofa is stained. For the amout of the cleaning fee, we expected better cleaning and not to have to remove the garbage and strip the bedding.

Beautiful condo in the heart of Nelson. Very clean and new. Comfortable beds, spacious and just steps from Baker street and a 10 minute car ride to a couple of great beaches. Pat and Sue were awesome to deal with. Would 100% stay here again and again!!

This is a wonderful property in the heart of Nelson's downtown core. It is walking distance to all the great shopping and restaurants. The Condo is very well laid out, secure, and clean. Our family would stay here at this hidden gem again when in town.

I have reached out to the owners in hopes of having the issues we experienced remedied/acknowledged by them but unfortunately have not heard back in 2 days so figured it best to leave a review so future guests have a heads up. The positives of our stay were a truly amazing location in town, so convenient to get anywhere in Nelson and a quick walk to the parking garage you have to us. There was also a lot of natural light which was nice. The biggest complaint we have was the cleanliness of the unit, the biggest issue was the en-suite bathroom smelt of urine when we checked in. After smelling surfaces to figure out what it was it ended up being the shower curtain, we had to take it down and wash it before we could even use the bathroom. They also had a very stinky mop head hanging in the laundry room that was the first smell we got of the apartment when we entered. Additionally there were multiple kitchen items (pots/plates/utensils) that had dried food on them or grease. We pre washed everything we used because of this. Most of the shelves and baseboards had a thick coat of dust. And the showers were not cleaned well, they smelt musky and water buildup was left on the glass. Ultimately it made us feel like the space was not very clean at all, and made us nervous about how well they disinfected anything between guests.Only other issues were that the wrong set of keys to access back door was left in lock box, so we stood outside while my husband had to go walk around.

Poor Parking especially to load and unload vehicle. Two sets of stairs to carry up supplies. Very noisy between 6 and 8 in morning, supply trucks in lane. BBQ was very dirty. House needs a deep clean. Had to pay extra for the dog that we were not made aware of prior to payment. The beds were very clean and comfortable. Could have used a few more dishes for 5 people. The location is ideal for exploring Nelson and its surrounding areas. It is right in the heart of downtown but very quiet. We walked to shop, eat, drink, go to the Farmer's Market, walk along the water to the park, and walked to the grocery store. Pat is an excellent communicator; we had a bit of an issue right before we left, and he was happy to help us get things figured out. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for making meals in, and it is a very comfortable place to just hang out with the family. We will definitely stay there again.

We loved staying at the Baker Street Lodge - Suite A! The suite is spacious and bright and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location can't be beaten, and, despite being right on top of a bar/restaurant, the sound isolation is fantastic. We loved staying here and would definitely book it again.

My wife, daughter and I stayed for 5 days and found the unit had ample space, had all required amenities. Fun location! Communication with hosts for any required questions was very fast.

Well appointed with a convenient location. Right in the centre of town. Check is a little confusing but just have to follow directions and it works well. Balcony is a great addition and even though it was on a main street it was very quiet. Thanks Pat and Sue

The female owner in particular cut me off and refused to hear us out, insisting that the dirty items had been washed and were just stained. She even admitted that during busy season they don’t wash duvet covers — they just spray things with Resolve, which is unacceptable. Vrbo reviewed our photos and agreed it was bad enough that we qualified to move elsewhere. It’s a shame, because the space itself could have been nice, but the condition and the way we were treated made this a very unpleasant stay.

This is a fabulous condo located right on the heart of Nelson. You step out the front door and are walking distance from everything…restaurants, breweries, cocktail bars, theatres, groceries. My only concern when I booked it was that it might be noisy at night, being right above a pub, as we travelled with our two young kids. It wasn’t noisy at all. We were busy doing things each day of our stay, but it was so nice to have somewhere so comfortable, central and charming to come back to in between outings. We found ourselves relaxing in the apartment more than I would have expected- not just a place to crash. Pat and Sue were easy to reach and lovely to deal with. We can’t wait to come back!

You can’t ask for a better location! We were in town for a soccer tournament and we walked all over town and even to the soccer fields. Beautiful back patio to sit and have a drink or grill some dinner. Easy check in and check out process and wonderful communication with host. Would definitely stay there again!

Well appointed with a convenient location. Right in the centre of town. Check is a little confusing but just have to follow directions and it works well. Balcony is a great addition and even though it was on a main street it was very quiet. Thanks Pat and Sue

The condo is right in the middle of Baker Street and allows great access to many of the nice restaurants in town. The unit is clean and nicely decorated and has everything you could need and use if you wanted to make meals in the home. The bedrooms are away from Baker Street and quiet as can be. We had a wonderful stay!

We loved staying at the Baker Street Lodge - Suite A! The suite is spacious and bright and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location can't be beaten, and, despite being right on top of a bar/restaurant, the sound isolation is fantastic. We loved staying here and would definitely book it again.

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. Right on Baker street and we walked to every store and restaurant and kept our vehicles in the parking garage located in the alley. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Complete with a coffee bean grinder to help with our espresso martinis! We would definitely stay here again. The fireplace didn't have very big flames, but it sure put out the heat. It was too cold to enjoy the spacious patio. Maybe next time.

Spacious suite with well-equipped kitchen. Bright and airy. Located in the heart of the action, but very quiet inside. Pub below had an Irish music concert one night we enjoyed from the balcony. Comfortable seating in living area - nice and cozy.

Make sure you are aware the stairs are steep and parking is a little tricky- but the condo is Lovely ! Really modern and super cozy too ! Location is amazing too !

Definitely needs a refresh. Walls could do with painting, the dishes were looking a little worn. Cleanliness wasn’t the greatest, baseboards in the bathroom really needed to be wipe down and the dust behind the toilet was unreal.Towels were old and rough, bedding was nice. The cot that was provided was impossible to sleep on. We ended up sleeping on the couch because the cot was just awful.Patio was niceWe really felt they needed to be a little bit more emphasis on the amount of stairs going up to the unit. It did say that there were stairs, but we were not expecting two full flights of stairs up to the unit.
