My husbands family is from Marysville and we try to meet up there every few years. Having a toddler we decided a VRBO would be more comfortable for us than a hotel room. This place did not disappoint. The views on the water were spectacular. We loved that the host included links to the ship trackers as well. The steps down to the property were well made and sturdy so even my elderly father in law who has knee problems made it down and up without issue. The place was extremely clean and came with everything we could have needed to be comfortable. The location in regards to town is perfect - it’s a very short drive to Meijer to get anything we needed. Parking was great and it was easy to get to from any direction we came.

This house has everything you need - from the kitchen to the bathroom. Clean linens on the bed, extra blankets. We went into Port Huron and all the way to Marine City - location is excellent for an east side drive. Local pubs around if you wanted to stay close. Would highly recommemd.

The property was perfect for a quiet couples getaway. Very clean, nice view of the river. Definitely not for kids or pets as there are no fence or rails at the end of the deck looking over the river. The only thing I would suggest is a screen door on the patio. Overall very satisfied 😊

We had a peaceful stay and enjoyed the view. Watched a few freighters and fishermen. Enjoyed the sun on the deck with a cup of coffee (provided by homeowner). Fully stocked kitchen just needed to bring the food. Beds were comfy and the decor was beautiful!

We enjoyed the peaceful feeling of this home. Sitting on the lower deck watching the freighters was so fun. Beautiful view inside the home and outside on your choice of decks. Well worth it and will definitely be back.

A beautiful location for our girls reading weekend. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed having the fireplace on and watching the lights across the river each night, and sitting on the deck watching the freighters.

We had a wonderful time. The house was spotless and exactly as pictured. The views of the river at sunrise and sunset were beautiful and the freighter traffic added to the unique experience. The host was wonderful and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

When we get away, my favorite properties are waterfront; that was the filter that helped us find this great spot. We enjoyed being right on the water and discovered how much we loved watching for freighters and fishing boats! It was clean and comfortable, and we definitely recommend!

Perfect place for a couple's getaway. While located on a main road, it's very quiet. The home is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of stores and restaurants a short drive away. It was fun tracking the boats on the provided website to see who was going by. Definitely plan to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views are amazing and make for a very relaxing time! The bed was comfortable, home was very clean, kitchen well equipped, check-in/out easy. The cons would be low water pressure in shower, no ottomans for the livingroom chairs and no railing of any kind to prevent a child or person with balance issues from falling off the deck into the riverr.

I loved the stay here. It was very clean and easy to access. The water views are incredible and it was beautiful to watch the change in weather on the water. The only thing I would suggest is bringing a soft pillow for sleep as the pillows here are very firm. Will definitely be back this summer.

I can’t say enough about this vacation rental. The view is so amazing, definitely the best part. The home is immaculately renovated, super clean and beautiful! Tami was great to work with and provided everything I needed. I definitely will stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Blue Water Hideaway while visiting friends in the Marysville area. The home was well appointed and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the living area was spacious for us. Tammi was a gracious and communicative host who was responsive by phone and text as needed. The space would be perfect for four adults (two couples) and while our family with two little children certainly enjoyed our stay, it was definitely a space geared towards adults, rather than small children (no bath tub, no gates on the outside deck beside the river, lovely but fragile decor that we put on higher shelves.) But at the end of the day it was an excellent stay and we would be happy to visit Blue Water Hideaway again — especially once our kids are older!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights to celebrate our Anniversary. The pictures are very accurate of the property. It is so well appointed and clean. We really loved watching the freighters go by. I loved sitting there reading a book taking in the views & fireplace! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time staying here. It was absolutely beautiful. The house was so clean and new. The views of the freighters were incredible. We spent most of our time outside fishing and enjoying the weather. The host was great she answered all of our questions in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it!!

Very nice home. It shows a lot of thought and planning were put into having it ready for visitor's. Nice location with great restaurants, art fairs, farmers markets and wineries. Highly recommend the Green Barn Winery and the Milkhouse Ice Cream Shop in an actual Dairy barn.

A totally enjoyable stay. All the reviews are correct and the house was very well done. The St Clair River was the highlight with wildlife and the ships. The beauty of the nearby River Walk added to the understanding of the area and its history. Great location.

Me, my husband, our two adult sons enjoyed the stay, the view, and we walked and ate downtown Port Huron. We also did the Lady Huron Cruise which was very nice. Every morning we woke up to a beautiful view of the water.
Me, my husband, our two adult sons enjoyed the stay, the view, and we walked and ate downtown Port Huron. We also did the Lady Huron Cruise which was very nice. Every morning we woke up to a beautiful view of the water.

Perfect place for a couple's getaway. While located on a main road, it's very quiet. The home is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of stores and restaurants a short drive away. It was fun tracking the boats on the provided website to see who was going by. Definitely plan to return.

My husbands family is from Marysville and we try to meet up there every few years. Having a toddler we decided a VRBO would be more comfortable for us than a hotel room. This place did not disappoint. The views on the water were spectacular. We loved that the host included links to the ship trackers as well. The steps down to the property were well made and sturdy so even my elderly father in law who has knee problems made it down and up without issue. The place was extremely clean and came with everything we could have needed to be comfortable. The location in regards to town is perfect - it’s a very short drive to Meijer to get anything we needed. Parking was great and it was easy to get to from any direction we came.

This house has everything you need - from the kitchen to the bathroom. Clean linens on the bed, extra blankets. We went into Port Huron and all the way to Marine City - location is excellent for an east side drive. Local pubs around if you wanted to stay close. Would highly recommemd.

We had a peaceful stay and enjoyed the view. Watched a few freighters and fishermen. Enjoyed the sun on the deck with a cup of coffee (provided by homeowner). Fully stocked kitchen just needed to bring the food. Beds were comfy and the decor was beautiful!

This is such a lovely home! It is so light and bright! We loved the local photographer's work on the walls which showed so many views of the shipping on the river! My husband, myself and our college age kids had a fun time tracking and watching the ships go by. We even saw a cruise ship! I actually learned a lot using my MarineTraffic app. I am tracking one that is on it's way to Gibralter. We swam at the beach by the lighthouse, which we went up last year on a quick stop through Port Huron, and wandered around the main street area. My art school daughter enjoyed sitting on the back deck painting the scene across the river. We had everything we needed in the house, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the towels were a lovely quality and everything was very clean. This was a very relaxing start to a week of hopping around Michigan. My husband and I plan to return! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautifully updated home on the river. Enjoyed lounging on the deck while fishing in the river. Caught several walleye & grilled them w/crab boil. Kitchen well stocked. Views at night mesmerizing with big ships coming & going through the canal. Wonderful R&R long weekend. Will definitely be returning!

Thank you so much for having us at your home. Your attention to detail was amazing! The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The views of the river were amazing. We enjoyed watching the freighters go by as we fished off the deck. Everything was so clean and tastefully decorated. Thank you again!

house was great! beautiful updated and clean. Everything we needed for a great weekend. I think the description should say not handicap accessible and the 33 stairs are to get to the house not the waterfront. Those are things that need to be stated within the description and pictures so people know what they are getting. I would recommend to friends.

The home was immaculate and clean. Communication with the host was prompt.. the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a great view with many ships to watch. Very relaxing stay! We would do it again!
