Very nice little cabin, just as described, Reel Simple Cabin. Very nice location, beautiful property, well maintained, cabin and landscape. Great view of the lake from the front porch, loved the sunset over the lake the first day we were there. Got to explore the lake by canoe, lily pads, wild life. and friendly neighbors. Quiet little community of well kept houses and land surrounded and shared the lake. Enough wooded land to still feel rural. Hope to come back again sometime. Did not meet the owners but communication with them online was quick and very pleasant. Miles and Donna Phillips

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet spot. We kayaked the lake without disturbances and only saw a handful of other people on the water. But be prepared to get muddy on your way down into the water. We enjoyed the provided firewood and fire pit area and having somewhere clean and cozy to sleep. The provided coffee and snacks were awesome. Would definitely come back! Thank you!

We stayed for my birthday weekend, and although it rained the full day we were there, I still had a great time! The cabin was cozy, and the view of the water was beautiful. I love the grills with the covered patio, we grilled out food and then sat outside to eat.

This cabin is very close to Savage Gulf, full of spectacular hiking. The shower is great with wonderful water pressure, plenty of hot water and a shower head placed high enough for tall people. Nice that there is a gas stove too. We were plenty warm on very chilly nights.

Great location, private, clean, & peaceful. We were close to The Caverns Venue we went 2 of the 3 nights we were at Real Simple Cabin. Hiked a ton, lots of cool waterfalls in the area. Great fire pit, used both grills, fished & even caught a couple fish. Definitely return and bring our kayaks!

This little cabin is a slice of heaven. Quiet little place on the backside of the host property. It is tucked away right on the side of a lake. We woke up and had coffee on the porch and sat and talked in the evenings with the great view of the lake. The host had everything we needed to make our stay a relaxing enjoyable visit. We came in to do some trails with our jeep at Prentice Cooper State land which was only 45 minutes from here. There is a separate entrance road on the property so you dont have to worry about bothering the host. There was a nice pavilion where we were able to grill and hang out even in the rain. Overall the communication with the host was top notch and she even brought us out a complimentary bottle of champaign for our New Years eve toast. Wonderful stay and would definatly come back in the summer to enjoy a day on the lake fishing or boating.

We fished although we didn't catch anything, the view of the lake was so relaxing to look at, couldn't ask for better weather. Our dog loved swimming in it. We enjoyed evenings sitting on the porch listening to nature. We eat in cooking breakfast and dinner and ate our meals out on the porch. Also went on a mountain drive. Hope to return one day! Wanda and James Nashville Tn.

Host was very good at communicating. It's a little tricky to find the right driveway to go down, but I think that's more Google's fault. The small cabin is very clean and all the towels and sheets were clean. The beds are small but adequate for us. We made coffee in the morning and sipped it on the deck overlooking the pond. We just had one night to stay and it worked out really well.

The cabin was beautiful and in a very quiet area. We loved being right on the lake and there were some great hiking trails nearby. It was a little tricky to find but the owner gave great instructions and pictures of where to go, it made finding it so much easier. Definitely would recommend staying here!

We came here for our 13th anniversary. We wanted somewhere quiet and secluded to get away from it all. This place was perfect! Me and the wife enjoyed our weekend together. The setting was great. Right next to a small lake. The little town didnt have much as far as stuff to do, but we weren't looking for much anyway. Cabin was very small. Wouldn't recommend for more than 2 people, tho. It was very clean and the owners even had it ready before the check-in time and messaged to let us know. Would definitely visit again.

My husband and I along with our frenchie stayed 5 nights and experienced the most peaceful and relaxing vacation we expected. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The views of the lake were so beautiful to wake up to each morning. Check in/out was easy. Kimberly (the host) made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here and we hope to visit again in the future. Thank you again Kimberly for being an exceptional host!

Great cabin with a great host. The view was great and very close to town. We rode our SXS to the park from the cabin all weekend with no issues. It’s about a 12 min ride to the park.

We had such a relaxing stay at Reel Simple Lakefront Cabin! The lake was peaceful and perfect for unwinding, and the weather made it even better. We also really enjoyed exploring the nearby OHV park and trails. A great spot to recharge and enjoy the outdoors!

This cabin is very close to Savage Gulf, full of spectacular hiking. The shower is great with wonderful water pressure, plenty of hot water and a shower head placed high enough for tall people. Nice that there is a gas stove too. We were plenty warm on very chilly nights.

Great location, private, clean, & peaceful. We were close to The Caverns Venue we went 2 of the 3 nights we were at Real Simple Cabin. Hiked a ton, lots of cool waterfalls in the area. Great fire pit, used both grills, fished & even caught a couple fish. Definitely return and bring our kayaks!

My son and I were planning to go camping right before Thanksgiving but the weather was kind of iffy (cold and rainy). We wanted to be by a lake to go fishing and be close to places to hike. This place was perfect! It's like we had a whole campsite to ourselves. Lots of nature to see. It was close enough to Chattanooga to spend a day there and then come back to the cabin for campfires and more fishing. We can't wait to come back and bring my wife and daughter. They can sleep in the cabin while we camp in a tent outside. My wife is NOT a camper. Ha! The location is right between Nashville and Chattanooga. Perfect distance for a quick trip. Hope to explore more of Monteagle next time.

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet spot. We kayaked the lake without disturbances and only saw a handful of other people on the water. But be prepared to get muddy on your way down into the water. We enjoyed the provided firewood and fire pit area and having somewhere clean and cozy to sleep. The provided coffee and snacks were awesome. Would definitely come back! Thank you!

We stayed for my birthday weekend, and although it rained the full day we were there, I still had a great time! The cabin was cozy, and the view of the water was beautiful. I love the grills with the covered patio, we grilled out food and then sat outside to eat.

This little cabin is a slice of heaven. Quiet little place on the backside of the host property. It is tucked away right on the side of a lake. We woke up and had coffee on the porch and sat and talked in the evenings with the great view of the lake. The host had everything we needed to make our stay a relaxing enjoyable visit. We came in to do some trails with our jeep at Prentice Cooper State land which was only 45 minutes from here. There is a separate entrance road on the property so you dont have to worry about bothering the host. There was a nice pavilion where we were able to grill and hang out even in the rain. Overall the communication with the host was top notch and she even brought us out a complimentary bottle of champaign for our New Years eve toast. Wonderful stay and would definatly come back in the summer to enjoy a day on the lake fishing or boating.

Beautiful property with a clean and cozy cabin. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs and have a private space to let them run. And the outdoor pavilion was a wonderful area to eat and take in the lake views!

We fished although we didn't catch anything, the view of the lake was so relaxing to look at, couldn't ask for better weather. Our dog loved swimming in it. We enjoyed evenings sitting on the porch listening to nature. We eat in cooking breakfast and dinner and ate our meals out on the porch. Also went on a mountain drive. Hope to return one day! Wanda and James Nashville Tn.

The cabin was cute, secluded and quiet. It was in a convient location, and had a swinging bench which I loved. There was a fire pit and kayaks but I didn't use those amenities.

Had a great stay. Very clean and had all the necessities. Stayed to see a show at the caverns and it was very convenient. Vrbo messed up on the check in, but the host was very quick to respond and everything was sorted out quickly. Beautiful stay, very dog friendly and had a great time. If we are ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to book here

The place was very quiet and the view was really nice. It's a great place to relax between activities, and to just relax in general. The owner was very communicative and hospitable, and she even offered a safer parking space during the storm we had. The only drawback for me was climbing the ladder to the loft. I'm 6'2" and I could only stand up in the middle of the loft area. Once up there, the space was small, but the bed was comfortable. I wasn't there to stay in the loft all weekend, so just a minor inconvenience really. I recommend it!
