The property was exactly as described. It was perfect for our group of adults, and children of varying ages. The true ski-in/ski-out aspect made it extremely easy to drop kids off part way through the day if they didn't want to continue skiing. The chalet is laid out in a way that it is easy for people to have their own space if needed. Hot tub was a treat at the end of each day, as well!

Our family arrived for the second year to stay here once again. The forecast was to be very warm, so we packed a fan as last year, there didn’t seem to be any. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the condo had a few fans in place this year! The hot tub is always a welcome feature for our family, however upon our arrival it was not up to par cleanliness wise…we do realize the hot tub/maintenance company works on a schedule so it had not yet been checked on prior to our arrival. Therefore, we decided to contact both the owner and the hot tub company and immediately it was attended to. Our stay was great as usual…we love it there…we put some great bike trails to use - with its location, there are so many options for outdoor activities - cycling/hiking, golfing, fishing…all things our family enjoys. We hope to be back next year once again! Thank you again Stew & Danielle for allowing us to return to your pet-friendly condo…our doggie also loved it and even made friends with the dogs in the condo area. It was a wonderful trip.

We were a group of 5 couples, who do an annual ski trip. This unit was in a perfect spot for ski in/out, and felt more than large enough to accomodate a group of our size (which is rare). We do all cooking in house, so were happy to see a full kitchen, stocked with all of the tools we would need. The hot tub was large and clean. Great stay! We would love to come back.

Firstly, I had to reach out the day prior to our check in date to get the “check in”instruction email. I was originally told ,in a too bad so sad sort of a tone, that the person responsible was gone away and there was nothing she could do to get us into the build for our 6 night stay. Once this was rectified and we did get the code to the door it didn’t take long to realize the hot tub was empty. Trying to get information on if this was going to be fixed and up and running for our stay was difficult. I called several times and left a couple messages. The response was once again, sorry things break feel free to ask for a refund through VRBO if you’d like. The cavalier attitude and dismissive tones made it feel as if these were common complaints! Eventually I was able to speak with the maintenance man, and he sounded genuinely sorry for the issue with the hot tub, however anticipated it would NOT be fixed until spring. Very disappointed with the communication and l believe the hot tub has been an on going issue!

This is our third year staying at Northstar Chalet , we are avid skiers and absolutely love the ski in ski out option!! The chalet is amazing for families , lots of room to spread out , watch movies, enjoy the Mountain View’s and soak in the hot tub . We already have next year booked I don’t think any words could be used to describe how much we absolutely love Kimberley and the North Star chalet !!! Thank you for letting us stay !!!

There were 6 of us that stayed here during the summer for the Black Spur Ultra. The check in was easy, there is lot's of room to spread out, bedrooms are a good size, beds were comfortable and i would stay here again. The hot tub was great to have after the race.

I would rate this 4.5 out of 5. It would be 5 out of 5 but the communication with the property manager was slow - messages only thru the VRBO platform are returned but it takes a few hours. We got in OK but could not find the lock code to the hot tub lock and so we couldn't use it until they got back to us the next day. Everything else was stellar. The condo is huge - lots of room and beautifully decorated for Xmas. Clean, high quality finishes and we loved the warming boot rack by the back door to the ski hop. The location was the best - right at the top of the bar and truly ski ski outs we had grandparents, adult children, partners and grandkids 6 and under so we loved the ease of getting on and off the hill. I wish I could posit photos - beautiful 10 foot tree, decorated and stocking hooks on the mantle. Massive dining table in the kitchen, huge living room, well stocked kitchen. I brought my roasting pan for the turkey but they had everything else we needed. Overall it was a wonderful 5 days!

Property itself was great. Lots of stairs, the listing did not describe the layout well. Not enough supplies provided for the week- paper towel, toilet paper, etc. Also the hot tub had not been maintained and ice maker on the fridge didn't work. However the skiing was excellent! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space! Hot tub is fantastic, great views off the deck and stocked with all the essentials. Had some minor hiccups obtaining the check in instructions and working the TV, but other than that our stay was great.

Our family vacationed here in late August 2024. It was a great accommodation overall- very well laid out and so much included for the guests to use which was very helpful (toiletries etc). We had five adults staying in our group; therefore sleeping arrangements were a bit tight- but we made it work. Bunk beds did not get used as they are more suited to younger children. Hot tub was awesome - we used it a lot. we did reach out to the owner and he very promptly returned our messages- excellent communication with him. One suggestion we have that may help down the road is that the owner and hot tub company communicate as to when new guests arrive because the hot tub is serviced every Friday (which we did not know). This would ensure that the hot tub is in top shape for the new guests upon their arrival. Other than that, our stay was just awesome. We love Kimberley! The views were spectacular! There is an abundance of wildlife. Great proximity to trails to bike and hike which we loved. We had our dog with us as well and having a dog-friendly unit was perfect. Having the gate on the deck was great for the dog. In closing, we would totally recommend this unit - especially for families. We will definitely be looking to book here again in the future. Beautiful stay in a beautiful location. Thanks again to the owner for having such a great place to share with others!

Very nice condo and the photos don’t do it justice. The condo has a lot of extras that a rental property doesn’t normally have. Especially in the kitchen. It was an excellent visit and we’ll stay there again.

I will keep this review short as have reviewed this property before. We have stayed many places in Kimberley and always come back to this unit. Fantastic location, extremely homey and well equipped, with wonderful, responsive hosts.

Firstly, I had to reach out the day prior to our check in date to get the “check in”instruction email. I was originally told ,in a too bad so sad sort of a tone, that the person responsible was gone away and there was nothing she could do to get us into the build for our 6 night stay. Once this was rectified and we did get the code to the door it didn’t take long to realize the hot tub was empty. Trying to get information on if this was going to be fixed and up and running for our stay was difficult. I called several times and left a couple messages. The response was once again, sorry things break feel free to ask for a refund through VRBO if you’d like. The cavalier attitude and dismissive tones made it feel as if these were common complaints! Eventually I was able to speak with the maintenance man, and he sounded genuinely sorry for the issue with the hot tub, however anticipated it would NOT be fixed until spring. Very disappointed with the communication and l believe the hot tub has been an on going issue!

I would rate this 4.5 out of 5. It would be 5 out of 5 but the communication with the property manager was slow - messages only thru the VRBO platform are returned but it takes a few hours. We got in OK but could not find the lock code to the hot tub lock and so we couldn't use it until they got back to us the next day. Everything else was stellar. The condo is huge - lots of room and beautifully decorated for Xmas. Clean, high quality finishes and we loved the warming boot rack by the back door to the ski hop. The location was the best - right at the top of the bar and truly ski ski outs we had grandparents, adult children, partners and grandkids 6 and under so we loved the ease of getting on and off the hill. I wish I could posit photos - beautiful 10 foot tree, decorated and stocking hooks on the mantle. Massive dining table in the kitchen, huge living room, well stocked kitchen. I brought my roasting pan for the turkey but they had everything else we needed. Overall it was a wonderful 5 days!

We were unable to check in at our time. No one manned the 24hr response center after 4:30pm. Had to deep dive the owner of the property management company to reach anyone. Finally checked in four and a half hours late.

Beautiful condo. Lack of a pool was a hinderance. Communication with the property manager was the worst I have experienced booking a VRBO property. No communication with us until late morning of the day if check in. There was no way to contact them, their voice mailbox was full.

Always a fun stay when we come to ski Kimberley! Very spacious and the ground level makes ski in ski out a breeeze, lots of storage room for skiis and gear. Highly recommend!

The property was exactly as described. It was perfect for our group of adults, and children of varying ages. The true ski-in/ski-out aspect made it extremely easy to drop kids off part way through the day if they didn't want to continue skiing. The chalet is laid out in a way that it is easy for people to have their own space if needed. Hot tub was a treat at the end of each day, as well!

Our family came to Kimberley for a Christmas ski trip. We stayed at the Northstar Chalet and were very impressed with our lodging. With 8 people, it was definitely nice to have all the space. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub! The only downside was that the t-bar next to our chalet was not in operation and we weren’t able to actually “ski in, ski out” as the reservation said. We would definitely return to this chalet in the future.

We were a group of 5 couples, who do an annual ski trip. This unit was in a perfect spot for ski in/out, and felt more than large enough to accomodate a group of our size (which is rare). We do all cooking in house, so were happy to see a full kitchen, stocked with all of the tools we would need. The hot tub was large and clean. Great stay! We would love to come back.

Very nice condo and the photos don’t do it justice. The condo has a lot of extras that a rental property doesn’t normally have. Especially in the kitchen. It was an excellent visit and we’ll stay there again.

My friends and I had an absolutely amazing stay, we do these group trips every year and this was the best place we have stayed so far. Clean, lots of space and the little details like heated floors and anything you could ever need in the kitchen. Would 100% stay here again and hope too next year! Thank you!!!!!!

Property itself was great. Lots of stairs, the listing did not describe the layout well. Not enough supplies provided for the week- paper towel, toilet paper, etc. Also the hot tub had not been maintained and ice maker on the fridge didn't work. However the skiing was excellent! Great location for the kids to ski the Tbar.
