I think this place has good potential but needs attention to details & normal supplies like shower soap & shampoo, Kleenex. When the manager was available he was nice enough but couldn’t help with supplies. Reclining chair does not recline. TV in terrible location! The write up is a bit deceiving. The “River view” is distant. It’s important to say there are 18 steps up to the unit. I don’t understand why I was charged $85.00 for “service” when we couldn’t be helped with problems.

Very Misleading. We did not see a hot tub or a game room anywhere. The “fire pit on deck” is on the other side of the RV park and is for everyone. It is NOT 2 bedrooms. It’s a living room/kitchen with a hide-a-bed. The tv is on top of the kitchen cabinets. It is old a run down. It’s not worth the price. It wouldn’t be a bad place…. As Long As You Know What You’re Going Into. Horribly advertised.

We were visiting for hiking the Redwoods and watching the sunset. There is an overlook less than 2 miles away that was perfect for the sunsets! It was centered to the areas we wanted to hike this weekend, so location was perfect. The property was spacious, clean and accurate to the pictures on website. Coffee grounds and filters and cream were supplied. Kitchen stocked if you want to cook. Toilet paper and hand soap in bathroom, so bring soaps for shower.....we forgot ours. Gorgeous view from living room window. We would stay again, with hopes of enjoying the outdoor space in warmer weather. Thank you!

It was clean and well furnished. I felt perfectly comfortable staying and sleeping here while we were in the area. It's near all of the hiking trails, beaches and tourist locations that we wanted to see. Had a great time here!

This is a nice central location to see the Redwoods. We needed a place where we could prepare our own meals because I have health issues that require a specialized diet, and we were not disappointed with the kitchen. (The pans are nonstick so if that is an issue you should bring your own) The couch is a sofa bed, so you may want to bring a cushion to sit on if you plan on watching tv in the evening. The light (ceiling fan) is possessed but we screwed out the two flickering bulbs (leaving one good bulb) and used the table lamp for plenty of light. The only real problem is that the listing fails to mention that you are at a risk of losing electricity from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm which can last for one day or stretch into several days. To make matters worse, these are scheduled outages so the owner has forewarning but doesn’t bother to call or text that information to you so that you can prepare. Without electricity there is no water, no toilet, no stove, and a refrigerator full of food that sits powerless for 13 hours. This “scheduled” outing happens frequently throughout the year. With a couple of day’s warning, we could have known to pack our food into our cooler and asked for the grill that’s available. Instead, we were forced to eat out at around $50 a meal for the two days of outages. We left on the 3rd day. This unit over the campground office is a nice place but would have been nicer with an honest description so that we could have been prepared.

The location is very good for visiting the national park. Many beautiful hikes and scenic roads at a decent driving distance. The house is OK for a couple. If you plan coming during cold months, bring warm clothes because, although it has a heater, when the sun disappears the house becomes pretty cold.

The place was not as described. The directions to the location were not great. We actually ended up knocking on a few doors before finding it. Where was the game room? If that was available, then we were not notified and weren't able to use it, one of the reasons why we booked. None of us were able to log in to the wifi, and several of us are in tech. The instructions were wrong and we couldn't contact anyone about it. The bathroom floor was not clean. The river was dried up, and the fire pit isn't on the property. It's for the entire campgrounds. This just wasn't the experience we were hoping for.

I liked how clean and spacious the place was, the beautiful view of the river. The only drawback was that there was a storm and the electricity went out and they didn't have a generator, but it was something natural, but it was a very pleasant stay.

Surprisingly, it was nice and warm inside. The beds were very comfortable and the house owner quickly solved a small issue with missing bed sheets for the fifth person. But the bathroom cleanliness needs improvement.

The beds were clean and comfortable which gave us a good night sleep. Good location for seeing the southern Redwood Forest. The pictures made it look like a cabin on the river but it is on the second floor above the office of an RV Park. The view is of a bunch of RVs. The apartment was clean but the sofa in the living room was uncomfortable.

Little misguiding saying two bdrms. There are two beds in one room and a blow up mattress for the living\kitchen area. But overall a great place to stay, wish we had a little more time in the area.

The owner was very nice and the cabin was pleasant and clean. I thought it was among other cabins/dwellings but it was in an RV park with only one other cabin. It was a good stopping point but not somewhere I’d like to stay more than a night. Many of the RVs appeared to have been there for quite some time.

The property was very nice! we got there at 6 PM and it was very dark and difficult to tell where the property was exactly, but there was a person who worked there and helped us. Would definitely benefit from clearer instructions and lights, especially at night. The sights around the house were beautiful.

The place was not as described. The directions to the location were not great. We actually ended up knocking on a few doors before finding it. Where was the game room? If that was available, then we were not notified and weren't able to use it, one of the reasons why we booked. None of us were able to log in to the wifi, and several of us are in tech. The instructions were wrong and we couldn't contact anyone about it. The bathroom floor was not clean. The river was dried up, and the fire pit isn't on the property. It's for the entire campgrounds. This just wasn't the experience we were hoping for.

The owner was very nice and the cabin was pleasant and clean. I thought it was among other cabins/dwellings but it was in an RV park with only one other cabin. It was a good stopping point but not somewhere I’d like to stay more than a night. Many of the RVs appeared to have been there for quite some time.

We were visiting for hiking the Redwoods and watching the sunset. There is an overlook less than 2 miles away that was perfect for the sunsets! It was centered to the areas we wanted to hike this weekend, so location was perfect. The property was spacious, clean and accurate to the pictures on website. Coffee grounds and filters and cream were supplied. Kitchen stocked if you want to cook. Toilet paper and hand soap in bathroom, so bring soaps for shower.....we forgot ours. Gorgeous view from living room window. We would stay again, with hopes of enjoying the outdoor space in warmer weather. Thank you!

It was clean and well furnished. I felt perfectly comfortable staying and sleeping here while we were in the area. It's near all of the hiking trails, beaches and tourist locations that we wanted to see. Had a great time here!

The beds were clean and comfortable which gave us a good night sleep. Good location for seeing the southern Redwood Forest. The pictures made it look like a cabin on the river but it is on the second floor above the office of an RV Park. The view is of a bunch of RVs. The apartment was clean but the sofa in the living room was uncomfortable.

The location is very good for visiting the national park. Many beautiful hikes and scenic roads at a decent driving distance. The house is OK for a couple. If you plan coming during cold months, bring warm clothes because, although it has a heater, when the sun disappears the house becomes pretty cold.

The windowsill in living room was collecting dust for some time. Dining chairs were stained and one set of blinds was broken. The on site host was very helpful and came immediately to set up the TV, which had been disconnected from the internet. The original ad says this is a home. It is an apartment. Kitchen supplies were missing a mixing, bowl, measuring cup and a cutting board.

This was a great place to stay, but the vrbo listing is inaccurate.There is no AC, only heat. There is also no hot tub. We never saw or used the fire pit as it is on the other end of the RV park and not near vrbo itself. The vrbo does not have a washer and dryer in the room - there is a laundry room at the RV park. It costs extra to use the washer and dryer, and they accept quarters only. The listing says there are two bedrooms but there is only one bedroom with two beds, and one open kitchen/dining/living room with a pull out couch. The oven is missing the door handle so it was a little dangerous opening and using the oven.All that being said, my husband and I chose this place mainly for the location near the redwoods, and the full kitchen (and unfortunately the included washer/dryer). If the listing had been completely accurate, we still would have booked it, and I would be happy to stay here again if I ever revisit the redwoods. I did not interact with the host very much, but Vivek was always kind and helpful when I did. The shower is hot, the room is cozy, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Despite the inaccurate description, this was still a very nice place to stay during our three days in some of the most beautiful woods in the world.

Check in was handled through text message. Easy to locate and information for check in was accurate. However, “clean and cozy” is misleading and the photos are obviously several years old and misleading to the overall condition of the unit. There were dead flys & cobwebs everywhere. The handle to the oven door was broken and the sofa couch was so uncomfortable you couldn’t even sit on it. We left a day early due to weather and the lack of cleanliness and I messaged the host who never responded back to me. Spend a little more and stay in Crescent City.
