~Lake Norman Getaway ~Lakefront w/Dock & Hot Tub

Great layout, pretty much a smart TV in every room, in a quite cove on the lake. Grrat communication - highly recommended VRBO Property.

The property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It was also close to the family we were visiting.

The house was amazing! Large deck for games. Trees for shade. Large enough to accommodate 5 couples comfortably. Dock was great for our pontoon. We enjoyed the ping pong table, hot tub and kayaks too. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our time because we were together. The overall condition of the property left much to be desired. The lack of communication with the management is mind boggling. I sent a list of issues with the property and haven’t received a response/apology for the inconveniences. For the money we spent per night on this place it was very disappointing.

Location and property overall were as expected. Bedrooms on main floor were good. Beds on lower level were not. Queen bed on lower level was missing most of the slats (only slats at head and foot), so bed sunk in the middle. Bunk bed felt rickety for teens who attempted to sleep on it. Ended up sleeping on mattress on the floor instead. Host was initially appreciative when we told them about these issues, but when pressed for compensation, we were told they couldn’t do anything because “no one had complained about it before.” It was clear that no one went in to check on the beds to verify our concerns; we were not making it up, and if you sat on that bed for one minute, you’d see the problem immediately. Half our group had relatively sleepless nights. If you book this place, confirm they have added some slats to that bed if you want the people who sleep there to get some rest. I reached out many times to the hosts before posting this review. When the listing says, “sleeps 11,” that certainly wasn’t true in our situation.
