We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was conveniently located to where we needed to go. It was very clean and smelled nice. The shower has amazing water pressure, and the large shower head made it feel like I was getting a nice message. I also liked the large gas stove. There were several items that could be used if you forgot something. (Toiletries, condiments, spices, etc.)Two very small things though. The ceiling on the stairs is very low. This is mentioned in the check-in guide, however we didnt read that until after we brought our stuff in. There is also a sign, but it can only be seen as you are heading downstairs. Some sort of sign at the bottom would come in handy. Also the listing mentioned there was a coffee pot, so we assumed it was a drip pot and brought ground coffee. It turned out to be a Kurig. So an update to the listing to reflect that would be nice. Neither of these negatively impacted our stay, though.

Our stay was to attend a wedding in Grand Rapids. The house was very clean and cozy, beds were very comfortable. We did not use the kitchen but everything was there if we needed it. Very conveniently located to suit our needs.

This is a cute house that has everything you need for a visit to Grand Rapids. It is close to the freeway so easy to get anywhere in the city. Lots of space to hang out. There is a desk for working if needed. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a small island with 2 stools, but no kitchen table, so we ate in the living room because we had 4 people staying. Jay has thought of everything you could need in the bathroom - there is shampoo, conditioner, soap, blow dryer, straightener and bins of things you may have forgotten like toothpaste, dental floss, bandaids, shaving cream, razors, and more. Lots of towels, extra sheets, a crib. Jay was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly to any questions. There is a Walmart and Target close by, as well as lots of smaller stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this home for 2 nights because of a wedding. Everything we needed was here (ie. kitchen stuff, shower stuff, towels, etc.) The home is conveniently located close to the city, so we were only 10 minutes away from the wedding festivities (which is perfect for a late evening). The only things I would clarify to supplement the current online listing is that the pull-out kitchen table only seats 2, and the upstairs bedrooms are basically connected with a curtain (so not as much privacy in terms of sounds/snoring etc). This is minor though, and shouldn't deter anyone from staying here. We appreciated our communication with Jay very much. Thanks again!

The property was as advertised. The Roku tv had all the channels we needed kitchen was stocked with necessities. Would definitely stay again

Kitchen was adequate. Living room spacious and comfortable. Beds, pillows, and linen all were comfortable. Be aware that the stairs leading to the 2nd floor are very steep and you do have to watch your head going up and coming down due to a bulkhead. The floors are uneven on the main level, it's not a huge deal, but I have MS and had issues with balance. Having a washer and dryer was convenient. Everything worked well. Communication with the owner was excellent, check-in and check- out was smooth. There is a fenced in backyard which was nice to have with a kid.

The urban path was very close and was a great walking experience. The bathroom was updated and clean, good shower pressure and.didnt have to duck under to fit! The kitchen had everything i needed and more.

What a lovely cottage for our 4 ballet dancers who enjoyed their stay for two weeks while attending a ballet intensive at the Gand Rapids Ballet. The location was ideal. So close to the highway. I brought a small table and chairs for the girls to enjoy meals together after a day of dance. Towels, linens, and kitchen supplies were all adequate for preparing a meal and keeping the house tidy during the 2 week stay.

The house is charming and very clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the laundry was very nice. There were 3 of us, so a small table and chairs would be a nice addition when there are more than 2 people. Thank you for the easy check-in. The water in the fridge was appreciated and we were happy to replace what we used.

The house itself was fine. I was disappointed the snowy walkway wasn’t shoveled and the top step leading into the house was covered in ice. I had to shovel the walkway and part of the driveway. In addition, there were two windows open in the upstairs bedrooms. Not good considering the temperature was about 20°.

We were in town for a quick trip. Home was comfortable but the beds upstairs were hard to sleep on. The house has warm and cold spots. But the host was responsive and had clear rules for us to follow. The home was also decorated for Christmas.

The host was difficult, he made our situation messy and impossible, he is NOT worth working with. I contacted Jay because we had an end of life in the family, not expecting much the week of the rental. He said he could change the dates. Then the morning of the reservation he told me to just cancel, he would refund me, and we could reschedule. I tried to cancel with VRBO, it wouldn’t let me because it was the day of, so I asked Jay to do it. He told me to “talk VRBO into” letting me cancel. I tried several ways, but they couldn’t because it was an active reservation. As a host, he knew this would happen. When I told him, he then said he wouldn’t do it on his end because VRBO would penalize him (VRBO assured me in the help chat this was not true and his fee would be waived). I gullibly took him at his word, my mistake. He should have just told me from the start he wouldn’t do anything. When he told me he would help I cancelled my child care, trusting his offer. If he had been honest from the start that he wasn’t going to do anything, this could have been avoided. But because he lied about helping and then didn’t communicate in a timely manner, I am simply out the money. Also, it was past 8:30pm Friday evening that he even gave me instructions on getting into the rental - over 4 hours late and I live in a different state! 100% it is not worth working with Jay. I also want to mention, he resorted to sarcasm and name calling when I called him out for not keeping his word.

It was very cute and welcoming. Host was quick with response to messages. Only thing it was missing was a sitting area outback. Great stay had a blast!

My sister was urgently transferred to a hospital in Grand Rapids. The property owner was very responsive, accommodating and easy to work with.

We were glad to return to this property! It is so conveniently located near needed highways to Grand Rapids and Holland areas.

Perfect location for all the activities we had planned this weekend. We were able to go to 3 mountain biking trails, a concert at Van Andel and walking around ArtPrize.

Perfect centralized spot for a visit to GR! This is a cute house in a quiet neighborhood conveniently close to several highways.
