Near Wineries & Hiking: Lawndale Home w/ Fire Pit!

Great place to stay.We visited places like South Mountain State Park,Chimney Rock,The town of Forest City & Riverbend Creamery while on our stay.It was so nice to have a peaceful,quiet place to go back to each night.Beautiful sunset & Great Host!

The stay was perfect. I had a very late arrival and the owners were very accommodating of my schedule. Lights were left on and the thermostat was adjusted to a moderate temperature. I was attending a relative's wedding in Shelby and this location was a perfect distance. It was great being out in the country and waking up to horses and cattle in the pasture and wide open views. Sitting on the porch enjoying morning coffee with the birds singing was heavenly. Everything needed for an out of town guest was provided and available in the cabin. It was very homey and so much better than a noisy hotel room. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a home away from home for a few days.

What a nice place to stay for the weekend. The cabin was super comfortable and the hosts were so kind and helpful. Hope I have a chance to go back one day.

We had an excellent stay. The only downside is that our stay was too short. The location was great. It was not too far to a quaint town with restaurants and shops. The view out the back of the house with the horses was gorgeous. The host, Sandy, was phenomenal. He was a pleasure to chat with and answered all of our questions. We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time! Beautiful countryside and very cozy little farmhouse! The hosts were so welcoming and kind!
