Spent two days in Anchorage before embarking on a cruise. We needed a 4 bedroom house close to places of interest downtown and this property fit the bill perfectly. The entire house was very clean and comfortable, and the beds were outstanding. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well equipped. The coffee bar sure came in handy the two mornings we were there. Excellent communication with the property owner. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property.

Absolutely delightful house that was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We felt so welcome here! The 4 bedrooms (1 with 2 queen beds) and 3 1/2 bathrooms were spacious and great for our family of 9. There is a loft with a toy kitchen and lots of books and board games. The wi-fi worked well. The owner put a lot of thought into making the guests feel welcome!

Lots of room to move about. Plenty of amenities. We were able to use the grill and cook our dinners. All eight of us could sit at the dining room table. Plenty of TV choices and only about a mile from lots of places to eat and things to do in downtown Anchorage.

We had been on a long river drift. Booked the house to clean up and reset. This was perfect. Comfortable beds. Clean house. Laundry machines worked great. Off street parking and good Wi-Fi. Had plenty of toys upstairs for it to be kid and toddler friendly. We only there one night nut it was set up to stay a while. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of space for a lot of people.

We really appreciated the very well-stocked and really well-organized kitchen. The house was well layed out. Location was good. Our stay was short, but I suspect we would have enjoyed a longer stay. We did not have kids young enough to enjoy the play area, which looked fun.

10 of us (all couples) stayed in this property for 3 nights before a cruise. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. We walked to the grocery store and to the bakery a couple times. We also walked to a couple brewery’s for dinner. It was a great place for a large group. The only negative were the curtain in all the rooms were very thin and did not fully cover the windows. It was hard to sleep when it never got dark and the light came through the curtain. We would definitely stay there again next time in Anchorage.

This house is fabulous! One of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. It is spacious--more than roomy enough for my family of 8 adults who were in town for a wedding weekend. It's beautifully decorated and Sue provided many special touches such as a coffee bar with snacks, laundry pods and dryer sheets, hairdryer, bath products and more. We appreciated the opportunity to do laundry after 10 days of traveling. Beds were comfortable. Check in was easy and location was great--near downtown stores and restaurants. If we're ever back in Anchorage, we'll definitely stay here again!

We stayed in Anchorage for two nights before we boarded the train for Seward to catch our boat. The house was perfect. There was 7 adults and we had more than enough space. The house was clean and welcoming and the hosts provide all the little touches that make your stay so easy. Thank you!

The house was everything it was supposed to be. It was clean and it had nice dishes and a nice kitchen and the beds were all good. Everything was fine. We found walking to the center downtown to be very doable and the weather was great.

This was one of the best VRBO homes we have ever stayed in. We finished a cruise in Seward and then stayed in Anchorage for 2 days (one night). This home was perfect for our family, particularly for expanding out from a couple of small cruise ship cabins into our own spacious bedrooms. In every way, this house was as good as advertised, with a genuine post-modern feel. Beds were very comfortable. I will say that the neighborhood lacked the same character as this home, but nice enough and we felt very safe and secure. Downtown was about a 20 minute walk for dinner. We used Ubereats for breakfast as the options felt a little far to walk with our tour departure at 10 AM. We also enjoyed a few of the games from the game-closet (and sure hope we remembered to clean-up well). If we are ever back in Anchorage, this would be my first choice again.

We appreciated the opportunity to do laundry after 10 days of traveling. Beds were comfortable. Check in was easy and location was great--near downtown stores and restaurants. If we're ever back in Anchorage, we'll definitely stay here again!

Spent two days in Anchorage before embarking on a cruise. We needed a 4 bedroom house close to places of interest downtown and this property fit the bill perfectly. The entire house was very clean and comfortable, and the beds were outstanding. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well equipped. The coffee bar sure came in handy the two mornings we were there. Excellent communication with the property owner. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property.

This was one of the best VRBO homes we have ever stayed in. We finished a cruise in Seward and then stayed in Anchorage for 2 days (one night). This home was perfect for our family, particularly for expanding out from a couple of small cruise ship cabins into our own spacious bedrooms. In every way, this house was as good as advertised, with a genuine post-modern feel. Beds were very comfortable. I will say that the neighborhood lacked the same character as this home, but nice enough and we felt very safe and secure. Downtown was about a 20 minute walk for dinner. We used Ubereats for breakfast as the options felt a little far to walk with our tour departure at 10 AM. We also enjoyed a few of the games from the game-closet (and sure hope we remembered to clean-up well). If we are ever back in Anchorage, this would be my first choice again.

Lots of room to move about. Plenty of amenities. We were able to use the grill and cook our dinners. All eight of us could sit at the dining room table. Plenty of TV choices and only about a mile from lots of places to eat and things to do in downtown Anchorage.

The house was everything it was supposed to be. It was clean and it had nice dishes and a nice kitchen and the beds were all good. Everything was fine. We found walking to the center downtown to be very doable and the weather was great.

We stayed here on our way to a cruise and it was the perfect spot. Close to the airport and food! The right amount of space for 9 people and cute/comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was downtown Anchorage which was really convenient.

Overall, our stay was fantastic, and the property met all of our expectations. It was in walking distance to almost everything we wanted to go and see. Was A little concerned about the number of homeless people that were sleeping right outside our door.

This house is fabulous! One of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. It is spacious--more than roomy enough for my family of 8 adults who were in town for a wedding weekend. It's beautifully decorated and Sue provided many special touches such as a coffee bar with snacks, laundry pods and dryer sheets, hairdryer, bath products and more. Large home with plenty of space and kid friendly areas. Stayed at property with multigenerational group prior to starting a cruise. We had upstairs play space for kids (including an adorable window nook, art station, play-kitchen and toys). The largest bedroom holds 2beds, couch and pack-n-play; our kids could quietly and noisily play in their own area. There is a downstairs bedroom with bath that worked great for the grandparents. There are clutter-free wide steps at the front door to otherwise enter. It’s a straightforward 0.5mile walk to downtown/Anchorage museum. We easily took an uber to the local large grocery stores/walmart in midtown. Host was very responsive and cheerful. We had a wonderful stay - thank you so much!
