Milliner's Cottage

What a fantastic stay at The Carpenters cottage. The hosts Helen and Patrick were so warm and welcoming and Patrick also has an amazing workshop you can have a look at. We came to stay for my birthday to watch a band at the arts centre, and had such a wonderful time. Everybody was so kind and generous. The cottage was very comfortable, super clean and warm. The log burner is brilliant. Easy walk into the centre of town and lots of places to eat and drink. Definitely will stay again of we're next up this way :)

Well situated for the centre of pocklington and the nice bars and cafes. Also easy access by foot to the wolds. Only slight issue would be the footpath to the side as can sound like someone next door until you realise it. Hosts very welcoming and offered good advice. Also nice to see the workshop

Has a lovely few days over Christmas in Carpenter's cottage, it's a beautiful cosy little cottage in a prime place for access to the centre of Pocklington, very well equipped with everything you would need including a lovely log burner which is very welcoming when it's cold outside. Helen and Patrick were lovely and friendly and we knew they were on hand if we needed anything. I'm sure we'll be visiting again in the not too distant future.
