Spent only 2 days but would love to have stayed longer. Accommodations were great for a late anniversary get away. Enjoyed the rural atmosphere with the view of Amish farms. Weather was perfect for enjoying the deck and the sunsets. Sadie the muffins were such a nice treat! Hope we can do it again!

This is a comfortable mother in law suite. It was clean and had everything we needed. The porches were a great way to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Check in was easy and the apartment was all we needed and more. And I can't say enough about the setting! On a country road surrounded by Amish farms, we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck or porch just soaking in our magical surroundings!

This is just what we needed. A quiet peaceful setting in the country. Close to all amenities, and great views of the farms while sitting on the front or back porch. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We stayed with my in-laws and we were able to sleep 4 people. There's one private bedroom, and a pull out Futon in the living room which was actually quiet comfortable. I believe they have a 2nd bedroom upstairs for an additional charge, but we didn't need it. Would definitely stay again. It's a 10 minute drive to Kitchen Kettle Village.

Great location! Close to many attractions, shopping, and food. Highly recommend this place. Place was very clean and well kept. Kitchen, pantry, and refrigerator stocked with many basic food items. Plenty of towels, washcloths, blankets, extra sheets, and dish towels.Host was kind and welcoming. Loved the front porch! Great for morning tea and watching the sun rise. Nice quiet location. Lovely views of surrounding farms.

This property was clean and comfortablxe. As soon as we walked in we felt as if we were at home and could relax. We loved the setting in the countryside and never got tired of seeing and hearing the buggies going by. My favorite spot was sitting on the front porch watching the buggies. There is also a nice deck out back. One night a horseback rider came through the fields across the street. She rode around the fields for a bit. It was so pretty! Sadie is a wonderful host. She is very kind and availble by phoone if she isn't home it was our pleasure to personally meet Sadie and her husband. I hope we have the chance to come again. Thank-you!

We so enjoyed our stay at Country View. It is located on a quiet country road and is beautifully decorated! The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cooking utensils, so we made breakfast there and ate on the front porch. Sadie had left a couple of cranberry muffins on the table, and they were tasty! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect central location in Amish country. Accommodations were clean, well kept, and welcoming. The front porch is a great place to spend time watching the cars and buggies go by or playing games on the back porch table. Second stay and I will book again!

Very quiet and good location for our overnight on way to NYC. We did not notice in the listing there is no tv which for one overnight was not that big of a deal but would have been nice to have after long day of travel. We were happy to have the private driveway as we had several items in our car for moving our son to NYC and we could safely leave it in car overnight. Property was quaint but not updated.

My family is on a multi-state road-trip so we have been in and out of hotels. It was so nice to have one night in a place that felt like home. The queen bed in the bedroom was really comfortable and my daughter slept great using the futon. It was really nice having a washer and dryer so we’re not hauling around dirty clothes. I would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

Sadie and Amos were lovely hosts, welcoming, helpful and informative. Sadie sent me to a great Amish grocery that had everything I needed. Their place was clean, safe and had everything we needed for an extended stay. She also has some lovely crafts. We would love to return next year.

Comfortable for myself and 2 teen granddaughters. We were in and out rather quickly but its a beautiful area with quite a bit to do. Sadie was very responsive to my questions.

Amos and Sadie were great hosts, and they have a beautiful backyard to relax, enjoy some sun or shade and we had some good conversation with them. The swing set and sandbox was great for the kids. Amos was nice enough to give us a buggy ride and we had a perfect evening for it. Highly recommend if you are wanting a peaceful place in Amish country!

Amos and Sadie Lapp are great hosts and wonderful people to talk with. The setting is beautiful and places you in the heart of Lancaster County farm country. We would stay again when visiting Lancaster County.

Nice place, lovely attentive hosts, surrounded by beautiful views. The muffins were a delicious surprise, bed was comfy and the keurig coffee maker was fantastic to wake up and have a cup enjoying the view. This was very convenient to our daughters house, and a lovely stay, we'll certainly be back.

Sadie and Amos are friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. The clean and comfortable rental is in a peaceful location, surrounded by farms and yet centrally located and near to many of the tourist attractions. Since we stayed for 10 days, we appreciated that a washer and dryer is included. We hope to stay at Scenic View Lodging again next year!

While the lodging was very comfortable. clean and well-stocked it was just a bit too far off the beaten path for us. We had to drive 30 minutes or further each time we wanted to eat or visit an attraction. It is great if you just want to get away and do nothing. Perfect for that except for the neighborhood dog that barked FAR into the night.
While the lodging was very comfortable. clean and well-stocked it was just a bit too far off the beaten path for us. We had to drive 30 minutes or further each time we wanted to eat or visit an attraction. It is great if you just want to get away and do nothing. I loved it! I saw and had the experience of living with the Amish, watching their horse-drawn carriages. It was so peaceful and tranquil; I highly recommend it. The house has everything you need; it's easily accessible and very close to many tourist attractions.

Amos and Sadie Lapp are great hosts and wonderful people to talk with. The setting is beautiful and places you in the heart of Lancaster County farm country. We would stay again when visiting Lancaster County.

Perfect central location in Amish country. Accommodations were clean, well kept, and welcoming. The front porch is a great place to spend time watching the cars and buggies go by or playing games on the back porch table. Second stay and I will book again!

Vrbo was cozy and warm when we arrived. Very comfortable and just what we needed for an overnight stay. There were even homemade muffins waiting on the table. Yum!

The Scenic View Lodge in Lancaster PA is an awesome quiet getaway. It's peaceful and just what we needed to get away from all the crowds. The Sunrise's are awesome, and the rental has everything we needed. The hosts are very nice as well. They even baked some muffins for us upon arrival. This is the 2nd time staying there and would deffinitely stay again.

Your place is adequately named. We travel to the Amish country often and never tire of seeing the farmland and working in the fields and the buggies and the children on bicycles or walking to school, all of which we saw again right from the living room window. And the sunrise. Your house is just the right size and very well-accomodated. Thank you for the delicious muffins.

Great location! Close to many attractions, shopping, and food. Highly recommend this place. Place was very clean and well kept. Kitchen, pantry, and refrigerator stocked with many basic food items. Beautiful Country Setting w views of Amish Fields and great Sunrises and Sunsets!Sadie had the home spotless and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked w pots and pans and any utensils you might need. The furniture comfortable and pictures and verses on the walls were a lovely touch. The blueberry muffins left on the table were delicious!Sadie and Amos were wonderful hosts in every way and made you feel like part of the family!The yard was Beautiful , they had two friendly dogs (Jody and Jade) and beautiful a horse ( Star). This was one of my most memorable and enjoyable and restful vacations ever!Thank you so very much Sadie and Amos! I hope to be back soon again!

Nice place, lovely attentive hosts, surrounded by beautiful views. The muffins were a delicious surprise, bed was comfy and the keurig coffee maker was fantastic to wake up and have a cup enjoying the view. This was very convenient to our daughters house, and a lovely stay, we'll certainly be back.

We so enjoyed our stay at Country View. It is located on a quiet country road and is beautifully decorated! The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cooking utensils, so we made breakfast there and ate on the front porch. Sadie had left a couple of cranberry muffins on the table, and they were tasty! We would definitely stay here again!

If you want to truly relax and enjoy a beautiful view this is the place! Sadie and Amos have made this a home away from home. Usually my husband is ready to head back home by the end of our stay, this time he was sad to leave. We both would go back in a heartbeat. Everything was extremely clean, comfortable and met all our needs. Both of our host were lovely people.

A great GEM of a place that suited every need!! In a great country Location with plenty of Shops nearby and Superior Dining everywhere!! About an Hour away from downtown Philly or not to far away from other main Venues (Hershey's Park, Convention Center, etc..). Great Place for serene R&R... Beds were super comfortable, clean, and plenty of room!! We got amazing nights sleep here and felt like home. The Hosts were amazing, attentive to any needs and provided all amenities (clean linen, plenty of towels, and extra room space if needed). The serene country views were great while enjoying coffee in the morning overlooking the fields of farmlands. An Excellent place to stay with humble, simple vibes and very clean. If your looking for a great, clean and spacious place to stay without all of the noise, hustle and bustle, this is it!! No TV's to disrupt your family time, Has great/fast Internet, and amazing wind flows and fans to keep the place cool and comfortable. You will definitely not be disappointed with your stay here!! A 10 out of 10 for me and my family!! If we go back to Philly or the great Restaurants nearby, we'll be back here for sure. God Bless you for reading this review!!
