The beds were great and the amenities first class. The view of Sandia Crest from the front porch was great and we enjoyed the pink mountain in the late afternoons. The back patio was cozy and comfortable and we grilled salmon and veggies on the grill.

We decided to rent a house this go around for a baseball tournament in Albuquerque. As soon as my reservation was confirmed, Mr. Potter reached out to ensure we would have everything we needed for our stay. We arrived for a smooth check-in. The house was well stocked, clean and comfortable. Having a house to return to after tournament games rather than a hotel room was a huge blessing. I plan on staying again next time we are in Albuquerque.

Our stay with two kids was great. The house is comfy and with enough room and set up is good for lots of activities. It's stocked with the needed amenities and Matthew was very helpful to have two pack n plays and high chairs for us.

Check-in was seamless with great communication. The home was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, the beds were comfortable, and overall there was ample space. The back patio was great to enjoy early morning coffee. Overall it was a great stay!

Kitchen/Family Room: My favorite space! When we made meals, we could be together, visiting with those sitting on the couch. The refrigerator is very nice and has both ice and water in the door. There's a very nice dishwasher, plenty of dishware and cookware, extras like snacks, large "ball" ice cubes, and a very easy-to-use grill on the patio outside. Everything was spotless.Beds & Bedding: We only used the main and third bedrooms, but both beds were optimally supportive without being too firm. Clean home filled with amenities for any family. Plenty of space to relax for everyone. The kitchen was supplied with pots/pans, coffee and spices for cooking. Neighborhood is quiet. This was our home away from home, we would gladly stay again.

This house has a great layout and it’s so nice to have a second living area. The house was clean and neat with everything we needed. The traffic from Unser can sometimes be loud and can wake you at night. Overall it was nice and we would stay again .

We really enjoyed our stay! House was immaculate. Had everything we needed for comfort. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was great. Owner Matthew was extremely responsive to questions. We've stayed in many VRBO's and this one is definitely at the tope of our list!!! Highly recommend.

Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay at Casa Chiliwood! The house was spacious, well decorated and beds were very comfy. We had an issue with the hot water on Friday night when we arrived and Matt responded very quickly and had it fixed first thing in the morning. I highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay in Albuquerque and this house couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Plenty of room, super comfortable, and lots of nice features that made this property one of the best we’ve stayed in. It is located where you have easy access to main roads, which was nice for us visiting family in the area.

Updated and clean house in nice suburban neighborhood. Easy walk to a trail in Petroglyphs park and open view over backyard wall. Doggies happy and we felt safe walking late when the sidewalks cooled off.

We were visiting family & this house & the host, Matthew were very accommodating & helpful. It wasn’t that far from our family which was helpful as well. Matthew was very helpful with a couple minor issues & responded promptly when contacted. Would very much like to rent this property again sometime. Al/Kay S.

Casa Chiliwood was fantastic for us. The house was just like the pictures, had everything we needed, and communication with the host was great. Location was perfect for our event at Balloon Fiesta Park. If back in the area, we will plan to stay again.

Week long summer getaway in Albuquerque and the surrounding area. Great quiet location close to the Petroglyphs and Boca Negra Canyon. The house was extremely clean, well appointed, and met all of our expectations. Our dog felt right at home here and really enjoyed sitting on the patio with us on cool mornings while we sipped our coffee. This home was perfect for us as it is very close to both hiking and biking trails so we took advantage of this and did lots of rides every day! Saw many hot air balloons in the morning. We really appreciated the host checking in on us related to the check in process, snacks, and as there was an unexpected heat wave. Would highly recommend Casa Chiliwood to anyone visiting Albuquerque as this home is close to the West end, Rio Rancho, and a quick drive or enjoyable bike ride to Old Town.
Week long summer getaway in Albuquerque and the surrounding area. Great quiet location close to the Petroglyphs and Boca Negra Canyon. The house was extremely clean, well appointed, and met all of our expectations. Our dog felt right at home here and really enjoyed sitting on the patio with us on cool mornings while we sipped our coffee. This home was perfect for us as it is very close to both hiking and biking trails so we took advantage of this and did lots of rides every day! Saw many hot air balloons in the morning. We loved our stay in Albuquerque and this house couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Plenty of room, super comfortable, and lots of nice features that made this property one of the best we’ve stayed in. It is located where you have easy access to main roads, which was nice for us visiting family in the area.

Updated and clean house in nice suburban neighborhood. Easy walk to a trail in Petroglyphs park and open view over backyard wall. Doggies happy and we felt safe walking late when the sidewalks cooled off.

Casa Chiliwood was fantastic for us. The house was just like the pictures, had everything we needed, and communication with the host was great. Location was perfect for our event at Balloon Fiesta Park. If back in the area, we will plan to stay again.

Check in was simple. Home was beautiful and very well kept. Great neighborhood. Perfectly located, close enough to everything. A Dion’s close was the added bonus! Travel to Albuquerque often and would stay again.

We chose this spot because it was central to many things we wanted to check out in the area. Great place with plenty of space! Nice kitchen to use and a complimentary K-Cup tree so I had morning coffee! Overall, this was a great start for is!

The beds were great and the amenities first class. The view of Sandia Crest from the front porch was great and we enjoyed the pink mountain in the late afternoons. The back patio was cozy and comfortable and we grilled salmon and veggies on the grill.

We decided to rent a house this go around for a baseball tournament in Albuquerque. As soon as my reservation was confirmed, Mr. Potter reached out to ensure we would have everything we needed for our stay. We arrived for a smooth check-in. The house was well stocked, clean and comfortable. Having a house to return to after tournament games rather than a hotel room was a huge blessing. I plan on staying again next time we are in Albuquerque.

The circumstances of our visit to Albuquerque were due to our daughter/spouse being in a major vehicle accident and in the trauma ICU in UNM. We were so grateful to be able to find this home on such short notice. The owners were very accommodating and very responsive to communications. The home was lovely, very clean, tastefully decorated, everything was top quality, lovely paintings and artwork throughout the home, a wonderful kitchen set up, the beds were extremely comfortable. The coffee set up and supply was very much appreciated. Check in/out very easy. We appreciated having our therapy dog there with us, and the supply of doggy waste bags was appreciated. She was a little puzled by the lack of grass, but adapted. We were glad to have access to the washer/dryer. Very reasonably priced. A great view of the mountains. We would have enjoyed using the fireplace but understand why that would not have been available due to safety reasons. Overall a top notch home and we highly recommend it to others. Thank you so much!!

I loved the layout of the house. It was both spacious and cozy, beautifully decorated with indigenous art. I also appreciated the host's prompt response to any questions or concerns I had. Kitchen/Family Room: My favorite space! When we made meals, we could be together, visiting with those sitting on the couch. The refrigerator is very nice and has both ice and water in the door. There's a very nice dishwasher, plenty of dishware and cookware, extras like snacks, large "ball" ice cubes, and a very easy-to-use grill on the patio outside. Everything was spotless.Beds & Bedding: We only used the main and third bedrooms, but both beds were optimally supportive without being too firm. The bedding was excellent: soft, satiny cotton - precisely what I use at home.Family Room Couch: The big sectional was soft and very comfortable. I easily fell asleep while watching TV. Comfy furniture is a very high priority! Thanks, Matthew, for the detailed instructions, essential information, and reasonable checkout requests! We all had a great time at the property. It was a mini family get together. The home lived up to the pictures and it was well stocked with coffees and teas just about anything you would want or need as if we were home. We have rented other VRBO places over the years and we would place this one in the top 2 that we've stayed in. The other top one was at the beach in Northern California. This home made it a comfortable place for us to sit and visit with family traveling from California and Wisconsin, much better than staying in a hotel. Access to the property was easy and the home was not only very clean but had a nice layout with the three separate bedrooms. Staying here made our trip special as everyone was comfortable and able to spend time catching up vs. being in a cramped hotel room and not having space to relax and visit. We would definitely recommend the property and if we need a place to stay in Albuquerque again we would not hesitate to stay here! Kudos to the owner Matthew for having a great place available for people to use on their travels. And thanks for the wine you left for us! "Five star" rating from everyone staying in the house!

Great location and very affordable price. House was spacious with large primary and en suite. Additional bedrooms were good size and quality beds. Plenty of seating and bedding blankets: Certainly somewhere we would stay again, but things to consider: Temps in the house varied. There is an additional air conditioning unit in the primary bedroom which worked very well—very comfortable when we slept. The rest of the house was a bit warm at times, but there is central air. Kitchen is not overly stocked. We weren’t missing anything, just not extras of things like coffee cups, silverware, etc. keurig was great—also stocked kpods. TVs are all app based, with only Disney logged in (so access to Hulu also). Driveway is very steep, so be cautious with low profile cars. Dishes were still in the dishwasher when we checked in. House was clean, but there were spots where it looked like corners were cut (literally). Also, as a fair warning, there is no opportunity to check in early. We arrived at the house five minutes before check in and our code didn’t work until 4:00 on the spot—so just plan accordingly.

Very comfortable and well appointed house. Some road noise. Very convenient to shops restaurants etc. Host is very helpful and access/check-in was very easy.

Mountain View from front porch was spectacular. Stay was just as great the second time as the first time back in Aug 2025. Home perfect for family in location and overall size and amenities. On Friday night, temps had dropped so we set the thermostat to auto to warm up house and went to bed shortly after. About an hour later, an alarm sounded telling us to evacuate, although after a check of all rooms nothing was wrong. After hearing the alarm a second time, about 10 mins after the first, we contacted the fire department, as a precaution. Fire dept came out and cleared house in moments. We were back in and asleep directly after. I only share this as a thanks to the host for having this type of alert system to give guests that extra peace of mind. And to the fire dept for coming out so quickly and checking everything out.
