Work, Play & Explore! Townhome 6 Mi to Dtwn Denver

We stayed here for 7 days. The house is missing some key kitchen utensils like a spatula and baking dishes. Typically why you stay in VRBOS so you can cook. After three days in the house the AC stopped working and it was 100 degrees outside so opening all the windows did not help. We were in town for a big softball tournament and family traveling so we weren’t at the house during the days and very busy while away. The hosts told us that the AC had a frozen line and we needed to turn off the AC altogether. After doing that for 24 hours it didn’t fix the issue. The hosts tried to contact us to have someone repair the unit but it was also over the holiday weekend and we were not at the house during the day. Needless to say, it was inconvenient to be in a house with 6 people after very long hot days in a hot house. Not entirely the hosts fault, but definitely frustrating. In addition, I was not at all impressed with the neighborhood or location. The house was clean and well taken care of, but I didn’t always feel the safest with our family of 6 in the area.

Although Commerce City isn’t the loveliest place to stay,

Great stay in commerce city! The house is a beautiful house and the location is perfect! Plenty of room for a large car in the garage as well as quiet neighborhood. Very convenient to highways, so access to highways to Denver, Breckenridge, Vail, etc. all within a few minutes Away on the highway. Stores are close by to pick up anything you want! House has all modern amenities and very cool on those hot Colorado days. My one and only suggestion would be if house owners could have curtains that block out the sun early in the morning from coming in through the windows, that would be fantastic! It was just a little tough to be awaken by the rising sun, and it’s sunrise when you really want to sleep a little late after a day of outdoor activities. Other than that, excellent spot and excellent rental!
