A few mins walk to Penryn high street with a pub, craft ale bar, Chinese and Indian restaurants and a couple of chippys. Bus stop one minute away with a service to Falmouth that takes less than 10 mins.Spacious house, well equipped and an interesting and large garden. Gas oven and hob, decent TV, WiFi is rather patchy especially upstairs. Good shower. Plenty of books and games available. The only real downside is parking. Not necessarily a fault of the property but of these sort of towns in Cornwall generally. A parking space is provided about a minutes walk away but anything longer than a Land Rover would not make it around the sharp corners. Once you have a feel for the town, you should be able to find to find parking that is easier to use but could be 5 - 10 mins walk away.

Accommodation is what is shown in the photos, however, after a long distance journey, arriving to very little welcome touches, ie, no milk, little dried out coffee and one and a half toilet rolls for 4 people for a week was disappointing! One party had to take two antihistamines per day to counteract the dusty environment. However, we all agreed the beds were clean and comfortable. Couldn’t find the advertised second toilet.

Stayed 3 nights

We would all like to thank Will for allowing us to stay in his lovely comfortable cottage for a family weekend. We came as a family to scatter my late Mum's ashes, she used to stay in Cornwall all the time with my stepdad in their caravan. The cottage was everything we wanted and more. We would love to come back again for a longer break next time, so we can explore more with our dog and grandchildren. Thanks again x

Stayed 4 nights

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and we used it as a base for dropping our daughter off at Falmouth Uni. The cottage is cosy and has lots of character. It was obvious that this property is a family's holiday home as there are lots of personal bits around the house, which some people might not like, but it didn't bother us. If you are staying with children there are plenty of books/games/garden toys etc to keep them entertained. It has a nice big garden which was great for our dog. We only used one bedroom, bed was comfy and it was all spotlessly clean. The cottage is located directly on a road, you have to unload your stuff and then go and park the car about 4 mins walk, up fairly steep steps, which might not be suitable for everyone. There is only one toilet which may be a problem if all 7 beds are being used. There are plenty of places to drink and eat within walking distance, we enjoyed The Thirsty Scholar, and a convenient Spar for all the essentials.

Easy to take buses from there. Quiet. Nice garden. Like most older places in Britain it smelled a bit musty. But it was very clean-just nothing to do about the fact that Cornwall is damp!
