It was terrific. Everything was correctly represented in the listing. Captain Stephen was in contact when needed and immediately resolved a plumbing issue. The property itself was lovely. Big yard for the kids, firepit and a rope swing over the swimming hole! What more could 5 kids ask for? It was a relaxing retreat between the school year and summer activities. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We gathered here as a family for a long weekend and hope to come back again next year. The house was well maintained and comfortable. Everyone was drawn to the sun porch if not outside. We spent much of our time outside since we lucked out with a beautiful weekend, fire pit, watering hole, birdwatching it was all calm and relaxing!

Wow! I almost didn’t want to review this place because I want to keep it a secret, it’s so magical and beyond perfect. Captain Steve really thought of everything to curate the perfect upstate weekend. My group of girlfriends and I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to come back next year. We could not have asked for a better home base for almost a week upstate. The Mills at Green Hole exceeded all expectations! The home itself is cozy and well lived in, with all the amenities you could want. However the property is so fabulous that you won't want to be anywhere else. Captain Steve was so accommodating and responsive, we felt well taken care of while at the same time a good sense of privacy. We will certainly be returning as soon as possible. We were all blown away by the beautiful property and the wonderful hospitality from Captain Steve. We had many plans to explore the surrounding town, which we done some of, but ended up barely wanting to leave the property! Why would you want to leave when you have a gorgeous back yard, creek and swimming holes to explore? It if felt so private.Captain Steve gave many recommendations, explains the property clearly, and even offered leftover food from the pantry to our group. It felt like we were staying at our family’s home. It fit our whole group perfectly. We will definitely be coming back!
