Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at Bill and Suzie’s chalet! The place was spotless, stocked with everything you needed to relax and sleep, or make dinner after a good ski day. Close proximity to Gore Mt. And the baked goods were SO GOOD and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for a great stay!

My wife and I recently stayed at this chalet for a short ski trip. From the moment we entered the property we felt as if we were staying at friends home. It's cozy, inviting and very nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything we needed and more. The linens were top shelf and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the screened back deck was beautiful and we enjoyed it on one milder late afternoon. The owners attention to detail and extra touches made our stay even better.The chalet is only a few miles from Gore mountain which was nice. We were impressed!

The cabin is a cozy and comfortable space in a beautiful location overlooking a pond, we loved the setting and the layout made sense for our 2 parent, 2 teenager family for a weekend of skiing. But what really sets this place apart are the hosts. Without exaggeration, Bill and Suzie are the best, most thoughtful and caring hosts we have ever experienced on VRBO, from clear communication, to making delicious, home-baked Valentine treats for us, to making sure we were plowed out in the morning during a big snow.

We had a wonderful stay at the Chalet. Suzie prepared delicious treats for us. There are also plenty of amenities (coffee, tea, oil, etc.) The Chalet is clean, warm and cozy with many Christmas decorations. Bill even lightens up two trees on the private road. He also came in twice to shovel stairs and walkways and clean up snow during our stay. Thanks so much for this. Bill and Suzie provide a variety of board games. My son and daughter had a lot of fun playing them. They also provide a sled -- my daughter loves sledding on it. There are also snowmen making toys, although we didn't get to use them. Bill and Suzie really try their best to make the Charlet a home away from home. Separately, the Chalet is really convenient for skiing at Gore Mountain -- only 9 minutes away from the ski center. Bill and Suzie is building another Chalet next to one that we stayed. We are looking forward to coming back with friends, perhaps in summer time. We really like the outside space and environment. Thanks so much.

A fantastic place! Beautiful and immaculate. Super quiet location, screen porch overlooks the yard area and pond/ wetland. Well equipped kitchen with coffee, tea and basics like oils and spices. Cookies greeted us on arrival :)

Great chalet! Lots of attention to detail. Very clean. Hosts are very responsive. My only drawback was that the fridge is the size of a hotel fridge. There is a separate freezer of the same size. Very complete kitchen otherwise.

We had the best time staying at Bill and Susie’s chalet. Check in was a breeze and the hosts are beyond kind and helpful. They even baked us a cake and went out of their way to get birthday balloons and a card for my fiancé. The kitchen is well stocked and the chalet itself is so cute and perfect for 2 people! Can’t wait to come back someday!

Words cannot describe how amazing it was to stay here. It was easy to find the chalet, just half a mile off the main road. It's also easy to get to Gore. Back to the main road, make a right, and Gore will be on your left. When we arrived the driveway was well plowed and the lights were left on for us. There were wood chips walking up to the house, so it wasn't muddy. The outside had a nice winter theme complete with adirondack artwork. Inside was warm, spotless, smelled great, and well decorated with a St. Patrick's Day theme. The bed and couches are comfy, and both comfortably fit two people. Pillows. Tons of pillows. Great pillow fort potential here. When they say cozy, they mean cozy. The amenities are good, small fridge and seperate small freezer. Gas stove. Shower gets hot immediately and is set up for a good soak after skiing. There are plenty of board games to fill the time, as well as a TV and wifi (we used a fire stick). Balcony was a good size to play some pong on. The hosts were very conscientious, and not at all intrusive. They provided coffee and fresh pastries, which were delicious. They even mailed back stuff we had left behind! I can't wait to stay here again!

An amazingly great chalet and experience. And it started well before the arrival. Bill & Suzie are the best hosts. So hats off to them first! Outstanding communication throughout, excellent directions to make sure we found the chalet, and even inquiring to make sure we had creamer for our coffee! The treats they left for our arrival were mouthwateringly delicious and we savored every bite (I won’t spoil it for you!) Who does that? Going the extra mile before arrival set the stage for the actual arrival which can easily be summed up as clean, comfortable, and classy. Had every creature comfort you can think of for a very quiet retreat. Streaming TV, WiFi, and SiriumXM radio. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Air conditioner kept us cool during the hot days. The screened in deck gave us mosquito-free evenings for gaming, evening chats, and cocktails! The local guidebook helped us find a great trail to hike. And the sounds of the on-site ponds made for very nature-themed and melodic evenings. Location is far away enough for the solitude of being disconnected, but close enough to a few rustic towns to still be connected to the world. What more can be said! You have to experience it! Looking forward to a return in the fall.

I had a work even near by and we tacked on a couple days . The chalet was incredibly clean, I don't recall staying in a cleaner place truly everything shined! Bill and Suzie checked in on multiple occasions to ensure our stay was going well. The thoughtfulness of our hosts was what impressed me the most. When we arrived (after dark) they had cozy lights turned on for our arrival, there were freshly baked good waiting for us, coffee, creamer, and little incidentals we may not have thought to grab. This place was such a treat and we cannot wait to revisit! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We were excited to return to the chalet for another Gore Mountain ski adventure with our two kids. The Chalet felt even more like home the second time around. We love the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail evident throughout the chalet. Not to mention the very peaceful yet convenient location. Thanks Bill and Suzie!!

I really can’t say enough about our stay here at Oven Mountain chalet. First, it’s beautiful here. The chalet is absolutely perfect for a couple wanting to have a quiet romantic time. The property is very well maintained and the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. My wife and I came to visit my daughter and our grandson and this little slice of heaven was very special. And Ms Susie makes some kick butt treats for your arrival after a long day traveling!

The chalet is small but spacious, the layout is beautiful.Everything ,you could need is provided. Just bring food and clothes .Very clean ,nice and quiet. I have to comment on all the extra touches they do,we got homemade cookies waiting for us ,and fresh flowers put out on counter and table. Clean dishes to use . Perfect getaway for 2. The balcany was nice to sit and listen to birds and just relax.no cars driving thru ,no noise. It was perfect for us. Never saw the owners ,easy in and out process .we've gone places before ,where you cant relax because owners are there ,and it feels awkward. They were close enough if we need anything ,but we needed nothing ,it was already there . So Thankyou Bill and Suzie

This home away from home is nothing short of perfection! It is cozy with every detail thought out with your comfort in mind. It was amazing to walk in and feel like we were in our own home. The chalet is beautiful, peaceful, and private. Hosts Bill and Suzie are responsive and thoughtful hosts. Their hospitality was above and beyond our expectations!

We had the best time staying at Bill and Susie’s chalet. Check in was a breeze and the hosts are beyond kind and helpful. They even baked us a cake and went out of their way to get birthday balloons and a card for my fiancé. The kitchen is well stocked and the chalet itself is so cute and perfect for 2 people! Can’t wait to come back someday!

Words cannot describe how amazing it was to stay here. It was easy to find the chalet, just half a mile off the main road. It's also easy to get to Gore. Back to the main road, make a right, and Gore will be on your left. When we arrived the driveway was well plowed and the lights were left on for us. There were wood chips walking up to the house, so it wasn't muddy. The outside had a nice winter theme complete with adirondack artwork. Inside was warm, spotless, smelled great, and well decorated with a St. Patrick's Day theme. The bed and couches are comfy, and both comfortably fit two people. Pillows. Tons of pillows. Great pillow fort potential here. When they say cozy, they mean cozy. The amenities are good, small fridge and seperate small freezer. Gas stove. Shower gets hot immediately and is set up for a good soak after skiing. There are plenty of board games to fill the time, as well as a TV and wifi (we used a fire stick). Balcony was a good size to play some pong on. The hosts were very conscientious, and not at all intrusive. They provided coffee and fresh pastries, which were delicious. They even mailed back stuff we had left behind! I can't wait to stay here again!

An amazingly great chalet and experience. And it started well before the arrival. Bill & Suzie are the best hosts. So hats off to them first! Outstanding communication throughout, excellent directions to make sure we found the chalet, and even inquiring to make sure we had creamer for our coffee! The treats they left for our arrival were mouthwateringly delicious and we savored every bite (I won’t spoil it for you!) Who does that? Going the extra mile before arrival set the stage for the actual arrival which can easily be summed up as clean, comfortable, and classy. Had every creature comfort you can think of for a very quiet retreat. Streaming TV, WiFi, and SiriumXM radio. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Air conditioner kept us cool during the hot days. The screened in deck gave us mosquito-free evenings for gaming, evening chats, and cocktails! The local guidebook helped us find a great trail to hike. And the sounds of the on-site ponds made for very nature-themed and melodic evenings. Location is far away enough for the solitude of being disconnected, but close enough to a few rustic towns to still be connected to the world. What more can be said! You have to experience it! Looking forward to a return in the fall.

This was our 5th stay at the Chalet and our first in the winter (very easy access to Gore Mountain!). Bill and Suzie are amazing hosts in all regards (I am sure a more detailed review from us is below)... they even update the decorating to match the season! We are looking forward to our next visit this summer!

My wife and I recently stayed at this chalet for a short ski trip. From the moment we entered the property we felt as if we were staying at friends home. It's cozy, inviting and very nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything we needed and more. The linens were top shelf and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the screened back deck was beautiful and we enjoyed it on one milder late afternoon. The owners attention to detail and extra touches made our stay even better.The chalet is only a few miles from Gore mountain which was nice. We were impressed!

The cabin is a cozy and comfortable space in a beautiful location overlooking a pond, we loved the setting and the layout made sense for our 2 parent, 2 teenager family for a weekend of skiing. But what really sets this place apart are the hosts. Without exaggeration, Bill and Suzie are the best, most thoughtful and caring hosts we have ever experienced on VRBO, from clear communication, to making delicious, home-baked Valentine treats for us, to making sure we were plowed out in the morning during a big snow.

I had a work even near by and we tacked on a couple days . The chalet was incredibly clean, I don't recall staying in a cleaner place truly everything shined! Bill and Suzie checked in on multiple occasions to ensure our stay was going well. The thoughtfulness of our hosts was what impressed me the most. When we arrived (after dark) they had cozy lights turned on for our arrival, there were freshly baked good waiting for us, coffee, creamer, and little incidentals we may not have thought to grab. This place was such a treat and we cannot wait to revisit! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Chalet. Suzie prepared delicious treats for us. There are also plenty of amenities (coffee, tea, oil, etc.) The Chalet is clean, warm and cozy with many Christmas decorations. Bill even lightens up two trees on the private road. He also came in twice to shovel stairs and walkways and clean up snow during our stay. Thanks so much for this. Bill and Suzie provide a variety of board games. My son and daughter had a lot of fun playing them. They also provide a sled -- my daughter loves sledding on it. There are also snowmen making toys, although we didn't get to use them. Bill and Suzie really try their best to make the Charlet a home away from home. Separately, the Chalet is really convenient for skiing at Gore Mountain -- only 9 minutes away from the ski center. Bill and Suzie is building another Chalet next to one that we stayed. We are looking forward to coming back with friends, perhaps in summer time. We really like the outside space and environment. Thanks so much.

We had another great stay at the Chalet. As always we had everything we needed for cooking in and we really enjoy the solitude of the property. Bill and Suzie are great hosts. They are very attentive and accomodating. Highly recommended.

Bill and Suzie were amazing hosts and have an amazing Chalet. They were very communicative and helpful. The chalet itself is very well furnished and the baked goods Bill and Suzie left were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the ADKs.

Our family (2 adults, 2 young kids) had a wonderful stay at Bill and Suzie's chalet. Communication with Bill and Suzie was easy, and everything from our arrival, to the space itself, to our departure was great. The chalet is gorgeous and spotless, with all the comforts of home and so much attention to detail (including delicious baked treats!). Bill and Suzie went out of their way to help us with a scheduling issue on our departure day, which we really appreciated. We would love to come back!

A fantastic place! Beautiful and immaculate. Super quiet location, screen porch overlooks the yard area and pond/ wetland. Well equipped kitchen with coffee, tea and basics like oils and spices. Cookies greeted us on arrival :)

We were excited to return to the chalet for another Gore Mountain ski adventure with our two kids. The Chalet felt even more like home the second time around. We love the cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail evident throughout the chalet. Not to mention the very peaceful yet convenient location. Thanks Bill and Suzie!!

I can’t say enough about Bill and Suzie’s rental! It’s pleasantly remote and also accessible, small and cozy but also extremely well equipped appointed in well thought out detail. Suzie even leaves fresh pastries on the counter for her guests! I have no problem recommending this chalet to any traveler coming to the area!

We were so happy to return to the chalet for a short getaway. It’s just as nice in the winter as in the summer. It was cold and snowy outside but warm and cozy indoors. We enjoy the quiet and how well organized the chalet is. Don’t miss the star gazing (or the full moon) here - simply amazing! On this trip we saw the moon and four planets. On the last trip we watched meteor showers. We had a lovely time and look forward to returning.

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at Bill and Suzie’s chalet! The place was spotless, stocked with everything you needed to relax and sleep, or make dinner after a good ski day. Close proximity to Gore Mt. And the baked goods were SO GOOD and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for a great stay!

Bill and Suzie go to unbelievable extents to make your stay with them comfortable and memorable. The attention to detail is quite impressive! The decorations the baked treats the coffee, milk, butter, pancake mix, etc. You will not regret staying in their chalet. Please be kind to these extrodinary people. Thank you Suzie and Bill! We will be back.

I had a work even near by and we tacked on a couple days . The chalet was incredibly clean, I don't recall staying in a cleaner place truly everything shined! Bill and Suzie checked in on multiple occasions to ensure our stay was going well. The thoughtfulness of our hosts was what impressed me the most. When we arrived (after dark) they had cozy lights turned on for our arrival, there were freshly baked good waiting for us, coffee, creamer, and little incidentals we may not have thought to grab. This place was such a treat and we cannot wait to revisit! Thanks for a lovely stay!

This was our second stay at the Chalet. It is a beautiful, clean and cozy place to unwind! The hosts obviously go above and beyond to make sure all the amenities you could need are provided, right down to the homemade baked goods!

We had a wonderful stay at the Chalet. Suzie prepared delicious treats for us. There are also plenty of amenities (coffee, tea, oil, etc.) The Chalet is clean, warm and cozy with many Christmas decorations. Bill even lightens up two trees on the private road. He also came in twice to shovel stairs and walkways and clean up snow during our stay. Thanks so much for this. Bill and Suzie provide a variety of board games. My son and daughter had a lot of fun playing them. They also provide a sled -- my daughter loves sledding on it. There are also snowmen making toys, although we didn't get to use them. Bill and Suzie really try their best to make the Charlet a home away from home. Separately, the Chalet is really convenient for skiing at Gore Mountain -- only 9 minutes away from the ski center. Bill and Suzie is building another Chalet next to one that we stayed. We are looking forward to coming back with friends, perhaps in summer time. We really like the outside space and environment. Thanks so much.

We wanted a quaint, quiet place to spend our anniversary and this place was just it. The hosts were super nice and communicated all we had to know and even wished us a nice trip home. The place is gorgeous, quiet and the screened in porch makes for a nice place to have a quiet breakfast and dinner. The bubble bath and soaker tub makes for a nice spa like experience at the end of the day. The bed is super comformable which just this made the stay an enjoyable one. The hosts also offer coffee, teas, milk, waffle mix and real maple syrup for breakfast...so nice and was soo good. We just wish we would have stayed longer we enjoyed it so much. A+ experience overall

A fantastic place! Beautiful and immaculate. Super quiet location, screen porch overlooks the yard area and pond/ wetland. Well equipped kitchen with coffee, tea and basics like oils and spices. Cookies greeted us on arrival :)

We had the best time staying at Bill and Susie’s chalet. Check in was a breeze and the hosts are beyond kind and helpful. They even baked us a cake and went out of their way to get birthday balloons and a card for my fiancé. The kitchen is well stocked and the chalet itself is so cute and perfect for 2 people! Can’t wait to come back someday!

Words cannot describe how amazing it was to stay here. It was easy to find the chalet, just half a mile off the main road. It's also easy to get to Gore. Back to the main road, make a right, and Gore will be on your left. When we arrived the driveway was well plowed and the lights were left on for us. There were wood chips walking up to the house, so it wasn't muddy. The outside had a nice winter theme complete with adirondack artwork. Inside was warm, spotless, smelled great, and well decorated with a St. Patrick's Day theme. The bed and couches are comfy, and both comfortably fit two people. Pillows. Tons of pillows. Great pillow fort potential here. When they say cozy, they mean cozy. The amenities are good, small fridge and seperate small freezer. Gas stove. Shower gets hot immediately and is set up for a good soak after skiing. There are plenty of board games to fill the time, as well as a TV and wifi (we used a fire stick). Balcony was a good size to play some pong on. The hosts were very conscientious, and not at all intrusive. They provided coffee and fresh pastries, which were delicious. They even mailed back stuff we had left behind! I can't wait to stay here again!

Cozy, cute, well accommodated, love the guest boook homemade cookies. The coffee bar and the little things that were provided that made us feel at home and comfortable. The games on the shelf so many things we loved about this place.

We loved the chalet. Everything inside was very nice and they made the most of the space. It was also well stocked. The area is so pretty. Easy access to Gore Mountain. And the kids loved sledding on the property. Bill and Suzie are the best hosts. We had ice and snow overnight separately and they were out each morning to plow, shovel and sand. And the welcome cake was so tasty. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. The chalet, the area and the hosts are amazing.
