Outstanding location for a trip to Amsterdam of 4 days! We were two couples traveling together and needed two bedrooms and two bathrooms and this VRBO provided two good-sized suites along with a large kitchen/living room common area. Christy was a wonderful host, welcoming us early to drop our bags and providing great advice throughout our stay. Her daughters hefted our bags up the 4th-floor walkup while we were out exploring the city, so we returned later in the day to find the luggage upstairs and various foods and drinks waiting for us in the refrigerator--what a nice welcome! (There is no elevator and the stairs are pretty steep and curved, so beware, although these 70-year olds handled it just fine.) The tram line is just a block away with another four blocks or so away--easy to connect everywhere you'd want to go, although we did walk from the VRBO throughout Amsterdam central. Restaurants abound in the VRBO's neighborhood. From the airport was only 23 minutes--short train ride and transfer to tram. The VRBO was bright, clean, spacious, and comfortable and Christy was a joy! Just do it!

Located in central city and close to grocery stores, restaurants, public transportation and in a charming neighborhood. Spacious, Scan-design interior with large bedrooms & new ensuite bathrooms. Friendly owners that live in building and offer beautiful, nicely equipped unit. Note - kitchen lacks stove, but offers large dining table, fridge, and lots of space in a very quiet building.We had a great stay for 4 days and could have done twice that.

We were four adults to stay in the apartment in Oud West - and we loved it! It is beautifully restored, equipped with really nice furniture and has the two en-suite bathrooms. It does not have a fully equipped kitchen, but you can prepare a breakfast and it has a fridge and a dishwasher

The owner of the apartment met us upon arrival and even helped us with our bags upstairs. The apartment is spacious and very clean. The apartment is very quiet and conveniently located around many shops and restaurants as well as different tram stations that will take you to popular destinations such as the van Gogh museum and Anne Frank house. The owner stocked the small refrigerator with essentials meaning we didn’t have to go back out after we arrived on the first day. Air conditioner, and heat were wonderful. Water pressure in both showers were excellent. Soap, shampoo, conditioner were all included and installed just like at a hotel. Beds were both king and comfy. Couch was big enough for the family to relax which can be rare in Europe apartments. 4 chairs and a big dining table meant we could get local takeout and eat together. This is one of the only places that I have stayed through Vrbo that didn’t come with detailed instruction manual on how to check out-which is so refreshing and hassle free! When I asked the owner, what we should do she said “nothing, no problems!” We did try to leave the apartment in a clean manner, but it was nice not having to change the sheets or take out the trash. It meant we could focus on getting packed and out the door to our next destination on time. This apartment is a gem and the owner is delightful and helpful! Do not hesitate to book here where you and your family will feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. 10/10 recommend!

We had a great four nights in this apartment. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood - great to come home to at the end of a long day. Christy is fantastic and very helpful. The apartment was clean, sunny, and very comfortable. It has good wifi, and two bathrooms with showers. Nice! It has a little refrigerator, but no actual kitchen. No need - there are so many restaurants and cafes around every corner! There are three cafes within a block of the apartment, as well as several restaurants, a wine tasting shop, and two restaurants. Walk another block and there are even more places. The apartment is a few blocks from a huge park with trails, bridges, and cute cafes. If you like walking, it is walking distance to nearly all the museums and tourist attractions. If not, no worries, it is very close to two tram stops. The trams are frequent, fast, clean, and easy to use. The stairs to the apartment are quite steep so it wouldn't work for someone with mobility issues. But for us it was just fine! Christy even carried by suitcase up and down (though that wasn't necessary!). We would return to this apartment in a heartbeat if in Amsterdam again.

This is a beautifully appointment apartment with high ceilings, luxury beds/bedding, and tasteful decor. It is brightly lit from tall windows on both sides and is quiet due to being on the top floor. It included everything we needed for our stay, including toiletries, iron/ironing board, fridge/sink/kitchen items, hair dryer, and washer/dryer. The owners are very responsive, warm, and welcoming. They greeted us upon arrival, carried our luggage up the stairs (4 flights/no elevator, which is common in Amsterdam, so not good for anyone with mobility issues, but we are all in our 60s and did fine with the stairs), and checked in with us throughout our stay. Wonderful hosts! The fridge was stocked with drinks, there were snacks/fruit available, and the kitchenette has a nice coffee/espresso maker. There were even fresh flowers in the apartment. We loved our stay with Christy! The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped with anything we needed. King size mattresses (and very comfy ones at that) are always a plus when traveling. The en suite bathrooms were great, and the daily cleaning was such a bonus. 10/10, would stay everytime we are in Amsterdam!

Apartment is in the perfect location with the tram 2 blocks away to quickly get anywhere in the city yet is on a nice quiet street so you can keep the windows open. There were also many restaurants and coffee shops within 2-3 blocks. Check in was easy and hosts were friendly- they even stored our luggage when we arrived early. Apartment was clean, spacious, well stocked and offered views from the balcony. Not an issue for us but others should know there are 4 flights of very steep stairs- which is common in Amsterdam. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if/when we return to Amsterdam.

Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood, lots of restaurants, grocery close by and easy walking to tram. It was like being a guest at a friend’s house: fresh flowers, snacks, umbrellas, lots of homey touches. Family of 4 was very comfortable… good seating, comfy beds, lots of towels, plenty of hot water excellent shower pressure. Highly recommend!

Excellent apartment in a convenient location. My family stayed for three nights in March and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was prompt in responding to our inquiries and very accommodating during our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Access is via steep stairs so may not be suitable to prospective occupants with mobility challenges, although it did not bother us. In fact the host assisted us in bringing our luggage up to the apartment, which was much appreciated. I would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again when I next visit Amsterdam.

A trip for my Mum’s 70th birthday. The location of the property is incredible. There were lots of independent restaurants near the property, so no need to worry about catering. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and hotel quality bed linen. The photos of the property don’t do it justice, it feels much larger in person. Its light, airy and modern with some lovely extra touches from the owner. I would definitely return.

Superb come flat in lovely neighbourhood west Amsterdam-2 tram stops or 15 minute stroll into the canal district and on edge of Vondelpark. Clean, comfy, welcome hamper nice touch. Check in process bit unclear - but worked out in the end with a bit of curiosity from us! If booking ensure you have clear instructions !

Wonderful apartment. 4th floor walk up but worth the climb! Great layout and great light. Clean and well appointed. Christy was a warm and welcoming host and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay in Amsterdam. Couldn’t ask for more from our host who was attentive, kind and friendly. The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed, and the location superb (close to parks, restaurants, trams, museums). Stairs are steep and narrow but authentically old Amsterdam. Loved it!

Outstanding location for a trip to Amsterdam of 4 days! We were two couples traveling together and needed two bedrooms and two bathrooms and this VRBO provided two good-sized suites along with a large kitchen/living room common area. Christy was a wonderful host, welcoming us early to drop our bags and providing great advice throughout our stay. Her daughters hefted our bags up the 4th-floor walkup while we were out exploring the city, so we returned later in the day to find the luggage upstairs and various foods and drinks waiting for us in the refrigerator--what a nice welcome! (There is no elevator and the stairs are pretty steep and curved, so beware, although these 70-year olds handled it just fine.) The tram line is just a block away with another four blocks or so away--easy to connect everywhere you'd want to go, although we did walk from the VRBO throughout Amsterdam central. Restaurants abound in the VRBO's neighborhood. From the airport was only 23 minutes--short train ride and transfer to tram. The VRBO was bright, clean, spacious, and comfortable and Christy was a joy! Just do it!

This is a beautifully appointment apartment with high ceilings, luxury beds/bedding, and tasteful decor. It is brightly lit from tall windows on both sides and is quiet due to being on the top floor. It included everything we needed for our stay, including toiletries, iron/ironing board, fridge/sink/kitchen items, hair dryer, and washer/dryer. The owners are very responsive, warm, and welcoming. They greeted us upon arrival, carried our luggage up the stairs (4 flights/no elevator, which is common in Amsterdam, so not good for anyone with mobility issues, but we are all in our 60s and did fine with the stairs), and checked in with us throughout our stay. Wonderful hosts! The fridge was stocked with drinks, there were snacks/fruit available, and the kitchenette has a nice coffee/espresso maker. There were even fresh flowers in the apartment. I will stay here again on my next visit!

We were two ‘senior’ couples. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. The beds and linens were quality, with well designed bathroom for each room. There sitting room was comfortable. The location allowed us to explore a neighbourhood with great restaurant choices. Easy to navigate the trams into the centre of town and elsewhere. Caution on the four flights of stairs, but we all managed them by taking our time. One of us was 6 months post knee replacement, and the stairs were a bit daunting, but not impossible. The apartment’s comfort was worth the climb. And, Christy made the stay very memorable with her friendliness and helpfulness.

Apartment is in the perfect location with the tram 2 blocks away to quickly get anywhere in the city yet is on a nice quiet street so you can keep the windows open. There were also many restaurants and coffee shops within 2-3 blocks. Check in was easy and hosts were friendly- they even stored our luggage when we arrived early. Apartment was clean, spacious, well stocked and offered views from the balcony. Not an issue for us but others should know there are 4 flights of very steep stairs- which is common in Amsterdam. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if/when we return to Amsterdam.

Wonderful neighborhood with many excellent restaurants. The penthouse is spacious and the hosts are wonderful and on site. Be advised, there are 64 steps to the apt. So not for the faint of heart or differently abled. For my husband and I and our 20 year old son it was PERFECT

Excellent apartment in a convenient location. My family stayed for three nights in March and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was prompt in responding to our inquiries and very accommodating during our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Access is via steep stairs so may not be suitable to prospective occupants with mobility challenges, although it did not bother us. In fact the host assisted us in bringing our luggage up to the apartment, which was much appreciated. I would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again when I next visit Amsterdam.

We arrived early and were easily accommodated in bringing our luggage upstairs so we could go and explore the city. The hosts helped us bring our luggage up. It’s true that there are lots of stairs to the charming apartment but with help, it’s no big deal lugging bags up. And bringing them down is pretty simple. The spot is probably not the best for persons who have difficulty climbing narrow stairs or for small children but for healthy and fit persons, it’s perfect. Each day, we walked a lot and are in good shape so the stairs were a welcomed way to defend eating more wonderful local pastries. The apartment is lovely- very clean, includes everything you need, and was stocked with some tasty treats, juice coffee and milk. Very thoughtful! A vast array of local restaurants are outside the door. The location is perfect for walking to the Jordan and museum district neighborhoods. Ubers or trains are available for visits to Haarlem and other neighborhoods farther out. The hosts are outstanding and friendly. Accommodating to anything you need. I’ve saved this spot for future visits. Enjoy!!

Our experience in this rental was outstanding. Christy, our host, made us feel at home from the moment of our arrival until departure. She made us feel like part of her family, offering many suggestions and answering our many questions. The apartment itself was clean, quiet, and very functional for 2 couples. It is 8-10min from a tram stop from which you can get around Amsterdam very easily. Our only caution would be for those who may have difficulty with multiple flights of very steep stairs (required for entry). Even with that said, after an early arrival, we left our bags with our hosts and they took them up to the apartment for us while we were out! Talk about a wonderful welcome!! Lovely experience. Would highly recommend.

The owner of the apartment met us upon arrival and even helped us with our bags upstairs. The apartment is spacious and very clean. The apartment is very quiet and conveniently located around many shops and restaurants as well as different tram stations that will take you to popular destinations such as the van Gogh museum and Anne Frank house. The owner stocked the small refrigerator with essentials meaning we didn’t have to go back out after we arrived on the first day. Air conditioner, and heat were wonderful. Water pressure in both showers were excellent. Soap, shampoo, conditioner were all included and installed just like at a hotel. Beds were both king and comfy. Couch was big enough for the family to relax which can be rare in Europe apartments. 4 chairs and a big dining table meant we could get local takeout and eat together. This is one of the only places that I have stayed through Vrbo that didn’t come with detailed instruction manual on how to check out-which is so refreshing and hassle free! When I asked the owner, what we should do she said “nothing, no problems!” We did try to leave the apartment in a clean manner, but it was nice not having to change the sheets or take out the trash. It meant we could focus on getting packed and out the door to our next destination on time. This apartment is a gem and the owner is delightful and helpful! Do not hesitate to book here where you and your family will feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. 10/10 recommend!

Christy was a great host, communicating consistently with us before and during the stay. The property was clean and looked like the pictures. It is near tram stops, making it easy to travel around the city. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, with a variety of restaurants within a few blocks walk. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience! Christy is an awesome host and goes above and beyond. She has an fabulous concierge app that helps with local recommendations and directions! She kindly provides basics like coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and assorted snacks/drinks! She even helped us with luggage! She is a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend this flat and this host! The location makes getting around the city easy. It’s easily walkable to the museums. I would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay! The apartment is bright and very comfortable. We slept well! It was easy to get to wherever we wanted to go either by foot or by tram (the stop is one block away). The grocery store is also within a block of the apartment. Christy is an excellent host!

We had a great stay at Bovien B&B. The apartment is bright and airy with comfortable furnishings. Christy stocked the apartment with fresh fruit, biscuits, juice, coffee, and tea. Christy and her family were very welcoming and offered us great suggestions on nearby restaurants. The apartment is in a great location with many excellent restaurants and a grocery market nearby. From the apartment, we were able to walk to the Rijks and Van Gogh museums as well as the Anne Frank House. The tram is also close by, providing easy access to Central Station and the airport. We had a great four nights in this apartment. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood - great to come home to at the end of a long day. Christy is fantastic and very helpful. The apartment was clean, sunny, and very comfortable. It has good wifi, and two bathrooms with showers. Nice! It has a little refrigerator, but no actual kitchen. No need - there are so many restaurants and cafes around every corner! There are three cafes within a block of the apartment, as well as several restaurants, a wine tasting shop, and two restaurants. Walk another block and there are even more places. The apartment is a few blocks from a huge park with trails, bridges, and cute cafes. If you like walking, it is walking distance to nearly all the museums and tourist attractions. If not, no worries, it is very close to two tram stops. The trams are frequent, fast, clean, and easy to use. The stairs to the apartment are quite steep so it wouldn't work for someone with mobility issues. But for us it was just fine! Christy even carried by suitcase up and down (though that wasn't necessary!). We would return to this apartment in a heartbeat if in Amsterdam again.

Superb come flat in lovely neighbourhood west Amsterdam-2 tram stops or 15 minute stroll into the canal district and on edge of Vondelpark. Clean, comfy, welcome hamper nice touch. Check in process bit unclear - but worked out in the end with a bit of curiosity from us! If booking ensure you have clear instructions !

Apartment is in the perfect location with the tram 2 blocks away to quickly get anywhere in the city yet is on a nice quiet street so you can keep the windows open. There were also many restaurants and coffee shops within 2-3 blocks. Check in was easy and hosts were friendly- they even stored our luggage when we arrived early. Apartment was clean, spacious, well stocked and offered views from the balcony. Not an issue for us but others should know there are 4 flights of very steep stairs- which is common in Amsterdam. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if/when we return to Amsterdam.

Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood, lots of restaurants, grocery close by and easy walking to tram. It was like being a guest at a friend’s house: fresh flowers, snacks, umbrellas, lots of homey touches. Family of 4 was very comfortable… good seating, comfy beds, lots of towels, plenty of hot water excellent shower pressure. Highly recommend!

The accommodations were lovely in a residential neighborhood. There is a coffee shop on first floor so easy to grab breakfast. The hostess had the place well stocked and even helped us with our luggage. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Bovien B&B. The apartment is bright and airy with comfortable furnishings. Christy stocked the apartment with fresh fruit, biscuits, juice, coffee, and tea. Christy and her family were very welcoming and offered us great suggestions on nearby restaurants. The apartment is in a great location with many excellent restaurants and a grocery market nearby. From the apartment, we were able to walk to the Rijks and Van Gogh museums as well as the Anne Frank House. The tram is also close by, providing easy access to Central Station and the airport. We really appreciated relaxing in the apartment after our busy days enjoying all that Amsterdam has to offer.

Wonderful stay with my wife and teenage boys. Perfect location to walk around and sightsee or take a quick Uber into city center and the train station! App with maps and recommendations for sightseeing and places to eat were spot on. We ate at a couple of their recommended dining spots and they were fantastic. Highly recommend.

Located in central city and close to grocery stores, restaurants, public transportation and in a charming neighborhood. Spacious, Scan-design interior with large bedrooms & new ensuite bathrooms. Friendly owners that live in building and offer beautiful, nicely equipped unit. Note - kitchen lacks stove, but offers large dining table, fridge, and lots of space in a very quiet building.We had a great stay for 4 days and could have done twice that.

Fantastic apartment perfectly placed outside the main tourist zone. The area is great for food and bars, easy access for trams to the centre. Christy was brilliant and went beyond what was expected, leaving us food and drinks for our late check in. Beautiful area of Amsterdam the local bar olympia was fab and the spagetteria and night kichen awesome restaurants. We would definitely recommend and would come back. Thank you Christy for making our stay amazing.

We were four adults to stay in the apartment in Oud West - and we loved it! It is beautifully restored, equipped with really nice furniture and has the two en-suite bathrooms. It does not have a fully equipped kitchen, but you can prepare a breakfast and it has a fridge and a dishwasher

We had a wonderful experience! Christy is an awesome host and goes above and beyond. She has an fabulous concierge app that helps with local recommendations and directions! She kindly provides basics like coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and assorted snacks/drinks! She even helped us with luggage! She is a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend this flat and this host! The location makes getting around the city easy. It’s easily walkable to the museums. I would definitely stay there again!

What’s wonderful stay for our family! The beds are huge and comfortable and the AC keeps the bedrooms nice and cool. Christy has thought of everything. There were extra adaptors for those of us with US electrical plugs, drinks stocked in the small fridge, and a lovely juice bar just downstairs. Speaking of stairs, yes they are crazy steep, but completely normal for Amsterdam and our host happily helped us carry luggage up (4 flights). The neighborhood is very convenient to the tram for traveling throughout the city (3 stops to the museums) but you are away from the crazy hustle and bustle. It felt like living in a real Amsterdam neighborhood instead of being tourists.

Great property, central location, easy to move around, lots of restaurants close by and public transit was easy. Totally walkable to many parts of the city or parks. The hosts were great, excellent communication, accommodating and friendly. Spacious common area made it very relaxing and the bedding was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was beautiful, with large windows and plenty of room to relax and spread out. Both bedrooms are fairly large and have very comfortable beds. So nice to have a bathroom attached to each. The washer and separate dryer are a bonus, especially when on a lengthy trip. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location is perfect. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. To access the city, grab a nearby tram or easily walk to and from. The largest park in Amsterdam, Vondelpark, is nearby and is a beautiful place to explore. Our host Christy was wonderful. She was very friendly and provided great communication from the initial booking all the way through our stay. She met us upon arrival, delivered our bags up the stairs, and set us up for our stay. Refreshments were available in the fridge along with a supply of coffee. These items were restocked during our stay. Christy also provided a refresh of towels and a quick freshening up every couple of days. Christy lives in the bottom unit of the building, so she was easily accessible if anything additional was needed. She also provided us with her own app that has a ton of useful information for visiting the city. With all of the nice touches and Christy being on premises, this rental is like a cross between a VRBO rental and a fine hotel. Personalized service with spacious private accommodations.
