Stayed 5 nights

I will start with the positives - house is in a great Position. Easy walk into heart of Byron. The interior design of the house is nice, very light and Coastal. Managers were very helpful and great coffee shop across the road. Outside area looked great but was too cold when we were there to use. Beds are very comfy, and Kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Negatives - Very busy street and shares a drive with Neighbours who start leaving at 5.00am. Only 1 car in the carport allowed so street parking for others, not always and easy choir. Not great sound proofing at all. We were all woken from street and car noise during the night/early morning, especially Downstairs. Design of the House is unusual as if you want to get from upstairs (3 beds and a lounge, Bathroom) to downstairs (Where the Kitchen is and 2 x bedrooms lounge and Bathroom) you have to go either outside and unlock a door to get in or through 1 or the two bedroom doors to use the internal stairs. Not great for people who wake up at different times. Downstairs seems to have a bit of water damage to the floor also. I cut under my foot quite bad on the Lino/ Floorboards that were sticking up. Not recommended for little kids till it is fixed. In Winter it is also a cold house. We travelled as a group of 5 women and moved the heaters around with us. Could do with Electric Blankets in Winter. Overall, we had a great stay but was it the place or the company of our fellow travellers.........

Stayed 9 nights

A well-located and attractive property and, for the most part, well-appointed. However, we were a party of 7 pax staying 9 nights during a week in which there were showers most days, and the absence of a clothes dryer was a significant disadvantage. To dry towels and clothes we had to frequently use a commercial laundry/dryer in town. So, although we paid for a premium property, when it came to laundry, we had a backpacker experience. Also - the two single beds were very uncomfortable; we recommend you replace them ASAP - both mattresses and the slats are well past their use by date.
