The property was clean and comfortable for our weekend in Mineral Point. We appreciated the comfortable beds and the history of the home. The street is quiet and safe, and the outside space at the home was a real bonus. Would stay again!

The cozy cottage is as described. The layout was little unusual with the kitchen upstairs with the bedrooms. The age of the cottage doesn't lend itself to central air and instead has units in various parts. They do run loud which was a little sleep disturbing. Overall, the cottage met our needs.

Very unique property, allot bigger than it looks, it was a very hot weekend and the window air conditioning had a hard time keeping up. Very well stocked. Would stay again. Plenty of room for a family or 2 couples.

The cottage had all the charm you would expect from an older building. It was clean and comfortable. We were disappointed that no wood was provided for the fire ring, but we managed to find enough dead twigs and branches in the yard to burn. The deck off the kitchen needed a good sweeping-dead leaves, debris and twigs around the patio furniture. The screen door had a large tear so we couldn't leave the kitchen door open. Other than these issues, our stay was pleasant and the neighborhood was quiet.

Check in and out was easy thanks to the communication with the property owners. We enjoyed a local burger at Cow Tippers Pub, a delicious coffee from Wild Blue Yonder Coffeehouse. We would stay here again.

No pictures could do this cottage justice. It's charming, spacious, and cozy. Kitchen was very well stocked if you'd like to cook during your stay. The town was a perfect destination town with great spots to eat, shop, and walk. Couldn't have been happier with our stay!

We loved being able to stay just a few blocks from downtown Mineral Point. Early warm weather had us wishing things had been cleaned up and ready on the outside of the property but it's understandable that in May in Wisconsin things may or may not be ready.

Great quiet, historical, charming cottage! We enjoyed having a kitchen to do our own meals. The outdoor fire pit was nice, and it was within walking distance to the shops in Mineral Point. Our “big event” was going to a performance at American Players Theater. We enjoyed our stay!

We were pleased with our ck in and stay. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Our group was all over 70 and one felt a little apprehensive about the rustic stairway with a couple stair heights that were not the same as the others. The beds, bath and kitchen were all on the second floor so coming and going for us was limited.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful neighborhood. The beds were super comfortable. The host was very responsive to our needs. The back door screen is broken and so couldn't leave the door open because of bugs. Cobwebs here and there. Otherwise perfect!

Pros: the cottage is very close to the high street and walking distance to just about everything else in town. Comfortable beds and cozy furniture. Well stocked kitchen.Cons: screen on the back door is completely shredded so you can't keep the door open for airflow. The stove is unsusable as it's covered with burnt food on the bottom. It filled with smoke when used and set off the smoke detector. Check in code and instructions were not sent to us 24 hours ahead of time so we had to contact VRBO to connect with the host to send them.

What an amazing step back in time!! The history of this area and the buildings is really interesting and beautiful. Everything is so clean and well cared for. Wish we could have stayed longer but on our way north. Thanks for sharing this piece of our country’s history with us.

What a lovely cottage to rest and relax in after long days of classes at Shake Rag. Excellent beds - always the most important thing for us - nice kitchen. The weather varied from 90 - 55 degrees and the cottage was comfortable for the range.

My bf and I had a great little getaway before the holidays staying in this cottage with some character. We loved it's location to both downtown Mineral Point and to towns nearby to visit House on the Rock and visit Governor Dodge State park for some winter hiking. Overall it was a lovely experience. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative as well.

My partner and I stayed here for our second time as we just ADORE this property. The house is clean with comfy beds and darling decor. You get to learn about the history of the home. There are board games to play and coffee available. We had steak dinner at High Ridge as recommended and it was sooo good. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We've stayed many places and this is on our favorites list!

We were so happy with the property after a long day lf fishing the area. Perfectly equipped for getting meals together and settling in. The host made sure we had everything we needed to access the house before we got there regardless of me having trouble with lack of cell service while out for the day. Overall we had a great stop and would recommend the house to anyone visiting Mineral Point.

The property was clean and comfortable for our weekend in Mineral Point. We appreciated the comfortable beds and the history of the home. The street is quiet and safe, and the outside space at the home was a real bonus. Would stay again!

My bf and I had a great little getaway before the holidays staying in this cottage with some character. We loved it's location to both downtown Mineral Point and to towns nearby to visit House on the Rock and visit Governor Dodge State park for some winter hiking. Overall it was a lovely experience. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative as well.

Part of the reason this property was chosen was its distance to Spring Green American Players Theater. Our location was perfect for the restaurant and church attended.

This is a wonderful old property. Historic Mineral Point construction. There’s a nice box in the property explaining its history. Everything in the center of town is walkable, including Pendarvis and for us the wordlanders gathering. I hope I’m able to return.

Window air conditioning was good but as they are a bit noisy it was just a bit hard to settle in. Our biggest shortcomings was no washcloths in the bathroom and the bath towels were extremely small. This should be an easy fix for the future as there is a Walmart within 10 miles. Overall the history and cuteness of the property made up for a bit of discomfort. The location was quiet and we enjoyed the outdoor space in the evening. Close to great food and shopping. We would return.

Charming, quaint, quiet, historic cottage, roomy and well-furnished, with great deck off kitchen, good for summer evenings. A good option in M.Point for proximity to Gov Dodge SP. The flight of stairs connecting floors is a little steep and there is a step down from the 2 bedrooms to bathroom on second floor and a step up from the front room off the street to the rest of the first floor. This could be a challenge for some. Less clutter and shades on bedroom windows would be good.

This is a lovely, cozy cottage, centrally located in Mineral Point, in walking distance of everything! We so enjoyed our weekend stay, and appreciated the hosts' flexibility when we realized we had booked the wrong weekend and needed to change dates.

Sweet little cottage that could use stronger Wi-Fi and a shower curtain that didn’t feature snowmen in late March. The coffee maker did not work, totally clogged :( we ran some vinegar thru but it needs another round.Someone in our group sat on the chair in the queen bedroom and the chair broke. Luckily no one was hurt.
