The kitchen was fully equipped but pots and pans were teflon lined and scratched. We did not feel safe to use them.We loved the firewood and had campfires three nights of our stay.We would have loved to have more treats for the horses. There were not enough for the time we were there. We gave two to each and they were gone after a couple of days. Our check-in was 4, but the just graciously said we could check in at 3. However, she gave us the wrong code and we could not reach her. We waited outside the door trying the code for 45 minutes before we were finally ably to enter.

This is a very nice farm house...Great area. Just not a fan of no tv till after dark..But i guess you are not there to watch tv. I would rent again jist will bring my laptop..:) Thank yoy gor sharing your beauatiful home and animals.

Check was very simple and easy and we were able to get in early. The kitchen didn’t have any baking sheet and there were a few broken utensils. Leaving open condiments is a little gross to me, though some people may like this. The biggest issues was no tv in the living area. The projector can not be used until it’s completely dark. Also to get sound you have to connect to the blue tooth speaker provided and that was a little glitchy. It is fairly clean, very dusty though. The games in the coffee table are completely trashed and just need cleaned out. There is not outdoor play area as stated in listing. The animals were amazing and Tyler, the farm manager let the kids helpWith farm chores and feed the animals every morning and evening we were there.

We were looking to find a place that could accommodate our family of 6, and this place was perfect for our family. It’s not far from Mammoth caves and Kentucky Down Under, which were the 2 places we were going while staying here. The listing was accurate and had everything we needed for our family. It’s out in the country so was pretty quiet other than the occasional train that would go by. It’s definitely a place we all felt safe at. We enjoyed feeding the horses, and pretty sure they enjoyed us feeding them lol. The other animals didn’t have much interest in us, but that’s ok. There were other things we didn’t take advantage of, but worth mentioning: a projector in the living room, a fire pit with wood in the yard, and some toiletries in the bathroom in case you forgot your own stuff. Host also communicated quickly when we had questions. We would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area looking for a vrbo.

We had a total of 2 adults and 4 teenage girls and this was more than comfortable to accommodate our group. Upon arrival, everything was clean and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked which was VERY nice as we did not have to travel with much essentials. There were even extra board games, a cornhole set and charcoal for the grill while staying. Wifi was strong and was able to connect to all of our devices at a time (did I mention there were 4 teens ) We utilized the firepit for a couple nights to roast smores and had some animal visitors to welcome us. We attended a couple cave tours, visited the zoo and went zip lining. Everything was within a half hour travel which was nice. Our host, Crystal, was very prompt with communication as well on the app. 5 stars overall for the stay.

To say we had the best time is an understatement. My family was in town exploring Mammoth Caves and the surrounding area for a few days. The home is absolutely adorable, super clean, and has everything you need. The projector screen movie nights were a favorite of our girls. The best part though was all our animal (and new babies) friends we made. The highlight of every day was feeding our pals and the beautiful scenery we were surrounded with. The girls cried when we left. We will certainly be back again!

Wonderful property - even better than expected. My son just fell in love with the horses and would have spent the whole day outside petting them if I would have let him. Home is beautiful and nicely set up. We really like the Roku set up in the living room. The only thing I would recommend is a railing for the front porch, my husband and I both have knee replacements and it was hard to get up them since they are a little higher.

This small home sits on a big beautiful piece of a KY animal farm! Very clean, comfy beds, reclining leather couch, nice shower, lots of towels, extra blankets, nice backyard area, the kitchen had plenty of dishes and the animals were a Huge plus!!

First of all, I’d like to recognize the cleanliness of this place. I keep a very tidy home and rentals rarely satisfy my germaphobic needs. This house was clean through and through. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The kids really enjoyed it. We were also satisfied with the quick 20 minute drive back and for to Mammoth Cave National Park.

First of all, I’d like to recognize the cleanliness of this place. I keep a very tidy home and rentals rarely satisfy my germaphobic needs. This house was clean through and through. We really enjoyed our stay in the little farmhouse. We noticed right away the cleanliness of the house which is also decorated nicely. We had room enough for our family of four to be very comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. Thanks for the extra, ie.. coffee etc. Having the farm animals right outside was nice too. A quick drive, 25 minutes, to Mammoth Cave which was the reason for our visit to this area, made this a very nice stay. We would recommend this little farm house to others.

This place was perfect for our few days in Kentucky! It was clean, beautiful and the perfect location for us as we scheduled cave tours at Mammouth Cave National Park. Owner checked in to be sure everything was going ok and even let us know the night a mama goat had her babies so we could see them! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We absolutely loved the area our kids enjoyed the horses and goats. They played outside more then I have seen them do in a very long time. The only suggestion I would have is the daybed is very uncomfortable needs a new mattress or to be updated and instead of having the projection screen pointed at the window maybe put it on the wall. Our ad a tv to the living room we used it for the kids to watch something while we got dinner ready and it was really hard to see. Everything else was great!

We loved our stay and visit to Mammoth Cave. The animals were awesome, and our youngest son loved visiting with the horses each day. The train at night took awhile to get used to, but overall, we had a great time.

The house is bigger than it looks, very comfortable and the animals are close by and so peaceful and fun to watch! Great low traffic road for long walks. If you need a rest, this is the best place you could pick to get away. And if you’re looking for fun, this is an active, working farm where everyone is friendly and welcoming, including the animals! Very kind and responsive owner if you have questions. I got a chance to help out with the sheep in the rain and ended up covered in mud and having a fantastic time - can’t recommend staying here enough!!

We loved all the homey personal touches in the house and on the property. Thanks for such a cozy stay! Making friends with the horses was such a cool bonus. A wonderful secluded location for sunset strolls. As suggested by others, use the provided fans as it gets quite hot at night with the primary AC blower unit being in the livingroom.

This house is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. We loved being able to walk down the road to see all of the goats and sheep, and have the horses in the backyard. Place was extremely clean and comfortable. There is a train track about .3 of a mile away that you can hear when a train goes by but that wouldn't deter us from staying again. It was perfect for our trip!

My family (2 adults plus 9yo, 6yo, and 1yo) stayed in July while visiting nearby caves. It was the perfect getaway while still being close to everything we wanted to see. Easy drives to Mammoth Cave National Park and other attractions. The house was well furnished and comfortable, and the host was incredibly responsive and kind! My kids loved running around in the pleasant outdoor space, and especially adored the horses, goats, and sheep. The only downside was that the air conditioning was from a single unit in the dining room, which made the bedrooms pretty warm. We managed with fans, though, so not a big deal. This house was everything we wanted for our vacation!

We rented the house as a group of 4 women for a short girls trip and had an amazing time! The location is beautiful and the house is great for the price. The only things we didn’t love was that there is no central AC so there is a single AC unit cooling the whole house and on the first night it was almost too hot to sleep. We also noticed there were plenty of dishes and utensils but lacked baking trays any bigger than what you’d use in a toaster oven so we did end up having to run out to get disposable trays to make frozen pizza. Other than that our stay was great, it’s super close to some really fun activities. We went to the outback zoo just down the road, the ravens cross escape room and Karst beach all of which we greatly enjoyed!

To say we loved this home and property is an understatement. So peaceful and relaxing! The location was perfect for our visiting Mammoth Cave NP. The home and beds were comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay! Seeing the sheep and petting/feeding the horses every day was one of the highlights of our trip, specifically our 3.5 year old daughter! She was so very sad to leave her horse friends! The host was very friendly and easy to contact at any point before or during our stay. We would definitely book again the next time we visit the area! Highly recommend staying at this gem!

The kitchen was fully equipped but pots and pans were teflon lined and scratched. We did not feel safe to use them.We loved the firewood and had campfires three nights of our stay.We would have loved to have more treats for the horses. There were not enough for the time we were there. We gave two to each and they were gone after a couple of days. Our check-in was 4, but the just graciously said we could check in at 3. However, she gave us the wrong code and we could not reach her. We waited outside the door trying the code for 45 minutes before we were finally ably to enter.

We were looking to find a place that could accommodate our family of 6, and this place was perfect for our family. It’s not far from Mammoth caves and Kentucky Down Under, which were the 2 places we were going while staying here. The listing was accurate and had everything we needed for our family. It’s out in the country so was pretty quiet other than the occasional train that would go by. It’s definitely a place we all felt safe at. We enjoyed feeding the horses, and pretty sure they enjoyed us feeding them lol. The other animals didn’t have much interest in us, but that’s ok. There were other things we didn’t take advantage of, but worth mentioning: a projector in the living room, a fire pit with wood in the yard, and some toiletries in the bathroom in case you forgot your own stuff. We had a total of 2 adults and 4 teenage girls and this was more than comfortable to accommodate our group. Upon arrival, everything was clean and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked which was VERY nice as we did not have to travel with much essentials. There were even extra board games, a cornhole set and charcoal for the grill while staying. Wifi was strong and was able to connect to all of our devices at a time (did I mention there were 4 teens ) We utilized the firepit for a couple nights to roast smores and had some animal visitors to welcome us. We attended a couple cave tours, visited the zoo and went zip lining. Everything was within a half hour travel which was nice. Our host, Crystal, was very prompt with communication as well on the app. 5 stars overall for the stay.

This was our first time renting a house instead of hotel and my fiancé and I couldn’t have been more happy with it. This property was absolutely stunning and very clean. Crystal was super efficient and responded back in a timely and professional matter. She was super helpful considering we’ve never done this before and answered all questions we had. The location was perfect and there were many suggestions on things do, places to eat, and resources listed in a guided handbook for around the location of the house.

Our stay was amazing! Crystal was super responsive at any time! The animals loved the attention! Waking up at 7 in the morning to the horses pretty much at the back door waiting for you was awesome! Duke and Sally the dogs were so sweet and hung out with us whenever we were there. We will definitely return with our kids. This was our anniversary/husbands birthday stay! I will also recommend this to any of my family and friends who are coming to cave city as well!

Crystal was super responsive and friendly. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we could have needed and more. We got to see very friendly horses, goats, sheep, and cows. And honestly, the beds were so comfortable that we considered messaging the host to ask where they got them from.

This quiet property was a perfect stay for our family while we visited the Mammoth Cave area. My kids loved running around outside and my son could not wait to get home from the cave to feed the horses the provided snacks. The lambs followed around their mamas all day. Keep an eye on young kids crossing the road to see the horses as the rare cars that pass drive fast over the hill at times. We heard the train once overnight but fell right back asleep. Crystal was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. Some of the cookware in the kitchen could be updated but we had all the basics to cook meals at home. She had lots of coffee available, microwave popcorn, and similar little touches throughout. Thank you for the nice stay!

The house is very clean and nicely furnished. It's an easy 30 minute drive to Mammoth cave and good hiking. However, if you feel like staying put the horses and goats would love the snuggles. We all enjoyed the house and recommend it to our friends.

First of all, I’d like to recognize the cleanliness of this place. I keep a very tidy home and rentals rarely satisfy my germaphobic needs. This house was clean through and through. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The kids really enjoyed it. We were also satisfied with the quick 20 minute drive back and for to Mammoth Cave National Park.

My family (2 adults plus 9yo, 6yo, and 1yo) stayed in July while visiting nearby caves. It was the perfect getaway while still being close to everything we wanted to see. Easy drives to Mammoth Cave National Park and other attractions. The house was well furnished and comfortable, and the host was incredibly responsive and kind! My kids loved running around in the pleasant outdoor space, and especially adored the horses, goats, and sheep. The only downside was that the air conditioning was from a single unit in the dining room, which made the bedrooms pretty warm. We managed with fans, though, so not a big deal. This house was everything we wanted for our vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay in the little farmhouse. We noticed right away the cleanliness of the house which is also decorated nicely. We had room enough for our family of four to be very comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. Thanks for the extra, ie.. coffee etc. Having the farm animals right outside was nice too. A quick drive, 25 minutes, to Mammoth Cave which was the reason for our visit to this area, made this a very nice stay. We would recommend this little farm house to others.

This place was perfect for our few days in Kentucky! It was clean, beautiful and the perfect location for us as we scheduled cave tours at Mammouth Cave National Park. Owner checked in to be sure everything was going ok and even let us know the night a mama goat had her babies so we could see them! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

This house was located in a very beautiful area. Quiet, safe and loved the animals next door. Host was very quick to answer any questions. The house was well kept with plenty of extra amenities (coffee bar, toiletries, spices for cooking, popcorn). There were a few minor issues with a bit older home. Faint smell from bathroom and screws on cabinet door in kitchen were stripped. Nothing that would deter us from staying again. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay!

Check was very simple and easy and we were able to get in early. The kitchen didn’t have any baking sheet and there were a few broken utensils. Leaving open condiments is a little gross to me, though some people may like this. The biggest issues was no tv in the living area. The projector can not be used until it’s completely dark. Also to get sound you have to connect to the blue tooth speaker provided and that was a little glitchy. It is fairly clean, very dusty though. The games in the coffee table are completely trashed and just need cleaned out. There is not outdoor play area as stated in listing. The animals were amazing and Tyler, the farm manager let the kids helpWith farm chores and feed the animals every morning and evening we were there.

This small home sits on a big beautiful piece of a KY animal farm! Very clean, comfy beds, reclining leather couch, nice shower, lots of towels, extra blankets, nice backyard area, the kitchen had plenty of dishes and the animals were a Huge plus!!

We loved our dogs' first visit to the farm! Our shepherds loved the horses and goats. We felt safe with them running around off leash which made being outside such a pleasure even with the heat. We went with another couple and the house had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked in both nights and were impressed with the variety of spices available. We also noticed there were plenty of dishes and utensils but lacked baking trays any bigger than what you’d use in a toaster oven so we did end up having to run out to get disposable trays to make frozen pizza. Other than that our stay was great, it’s super close to some really fun activities. We went to the outback zoo just down the road, the ravens cross escape room and Karst beach all of which we greatly enjoyed!

We rented the house as a group of 4 women for a short girls trip and had an amazing time! The location is beautiful and the house is great for the price. The only things we didn’t love was that there is no central AC so there is a single AC unit cooling the whole house and on the first night it was almost too hot to sleep. Loved the property. Staying on the farm was amazing. Our kids loved to hear the goats and sheep and pet the horses! My wife also loved one of the goats! The house amenities were great! They had K-cups for coffee and everything you need for your stay! 10/10, definitely would stay again!

House smelled like strong cleaning solution for several days. The bathroom had a different terrible smell on and off during our stay. We saw a roach in the bathroom and another in our bedroom. I did get a response right away from the host and she sent a maintenance man over that day. She said he sprayed for bugs and tried cleaning drains in bathroom. I did not rate the place too low but did want to point out what to expect. Crystal seemed as though she was wanting to please us.

Lovely little house/cabin. We were gone a lot, but we were very comfortable in the house. The animals are great and feeding the horses was fun. We had a campfire one night which was great. Easy access to local attractions and amenities. We would definitely book again if we come back to the area.

We loved our stay at the farm! Crystal and Marty were so friendly and helpful. They built an entire deck while we were there which is a beautiful addition to the home! We broke it in with a dance party. We had 4 acults and 4 boys (1,3,4&6) and the rooms worked perfect for us. The home is cozy, had everything we needed and the yard/hose kept our kids busy and safe. The animals were fun to watch and visit with! The neighbors were friendly and even brought our kids some smashed pennies from the railroad tracks across the street. We would definitely come back if we ever visit Mammoth Caves again!!

This is one of the best Vrbo’s we’ve stayed at. The communication with the host was quick and exceptional. When we arrived the house was exactly as it was advertised. It was easy to find and impeccably clean. I had mentioned to Crystal that it was our anniversary weekend and she went out of her way to decorate for Valentines Day and she even surprised us with flowers. How many hosts do you know that have ever done that? The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with anything and everything, I didn’t even need to unpack our toiletries. Kitchen has everything you need to feel like home and cook up a meal or make a coffee at the coffee bar in the morning. We fed the horses in the morning who were literally right outside our back door when we woke up. We will definitely be back. Great place, book it- don’t even hesitate.
