My husband and I stayed 1 week at this property and were very sad to have to leave and go back to our chaotic lives. The intent was to have a relaxing, stress-free vacation and Harbor House did not disappoint. We spent a good time relaxing by the river, reading and watching the freighters and Great Lakes Cruise ships pass by at all hours. We visited the little shops and restaurants within walking distance from the house and drove to other small towns within 1/2 hour to 1 hour distance. Everything within the house was amazing, from the cute decor, to everything we needed in each room. Nothing was lacking, and everything was very clean. It was very roomy and very comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioner in the bedroom at night, the firepit in the back, the front porch with adirondack chairs for cooling down and sipping wine, the Alexa for playing our music and the close proximity to everything. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and we even got to meet Adam the second day we were there. Overall our stay exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay again!

Excellent Property! The house is very unique , clean, and spacious with a wonderful view of the St. Clair River. It was the perfect location for a family get together and the kitchen had everything needed for a small potluck. Some walked to town to shop or get icecream. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening while watching freighters go by all lit up. Hostess was super nice and attentive, she allowed us to check in early , use their cornhole boards and camp chairs. I cant say enough nice things about this place, I highly recommend this property!

Exceptional accommodation! Amazing river views and sunrise. The host thought of everything that we may have needed. The firepit next to the river was so peaceful. Freighter watching at its best. Our dog loved it as well. Can't wait to return!

We had such a relaxing stay in Marine City! The house was wonderful and all we needed to enjoy our stay. We rode our Harley Tri-Glide up and were able to safely park where we could see it which was important to us. A very short walk to the beach, hit up some antique shops, watched freighters & truly enjoyed the peace and quiet. We will definitely stay again!

We could not be more thankful to have found The Harbor House! A true gem, it was the perfect spot to host my husband’s surprise 40th celebration with our closest family and friends, some who traveled from Europe for the event! The parking was immensely convenient, the children enjoyed the proximity to the park and beach, and we all enjoyed watching the freighters pass by! The smart TV allowed us to show a special video we made of friends/family from afar wishing him a happy birthday. The kitchen was well equipped to host a small pot luck style meal and some competitive games at the table. The backyard was spacious and the seating was convenient. The house has amazing airflow with the windows open, and we enjoyed the night breezes off the river. Our walks into town for our breakfasts, a late night dinner, and some extra candy and popcorn treats were just delightful. Comfortable bedding, clean, inviting…we just can’t say enough!

Harbor House has a wonderful view of the river and we enjoyed being able to walk to stores and restaurants. The owners were so pleasant and helpful. The house was spotless. This was a group of 3 siblings so we had plenty of room. The sunroom had a wonderful view but, if you actually had 10 people in the house, it would be good to have a better way of closing it off from the rest of the house.

We made a fast trip to Michigan for a family funeral. Staying at the Harbor House was a beacon of light. The home is exudes charm, happiness, and cheerfulness. Everything in the home in inviting and comfortable. We hope to visit for a fun trip in the future.

My husband and I stayed 1 week at this property and were very sad to have to leave and go back to our chaotic lives. The intent was to have a relaxing, stress-free vacation and Harbor House did not disappoint. We spent a good time relaxing by the river, reading and watching the freighters and Great Lakes Cruise ships pass by at all hours. We visited the little shops and restaurants within walking distance from the house and drove to other small towns within 1/2 hour to 1 hour distance. Everything within the house was amazing, from the cute decor, to everything we needed in each room. Nothing was lacking, and everything was very clean. It was very roomy and very comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioner in the bedroom at night, the firepit in the back, the front porch with adirondack chairs for cooling down and sipping wine, the Alexa for playing our music and the close proximity to everything. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and we even got to meet Adam the second day we were there. Overall our stay exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay again!

Harbor House has a wonderful view of the river and we enjoyed being able to walk to stores and restaurants. The owners were so pleasant and helpful. The house was spotless. This was a group of 3 siblings so we had plenty of room. The sunroom had a wonderful view but, if you actually had 10 people in the house, it would be good to have a better way of closing it off from the rest of the house.

This spot is excellent for viewing frieghters!! In 3 nights we experienced close to thirty. Our weather was in the mid 60's, which made for misty October over-nights. The Freighters sounded their fog-horns during the night when they passed. It was 'spooky-fun'! Being close to town, we walked to our favorite food and shopping places. We will stay here again.

Exceptional accommodation! Amazing river views and sunrise. The host thought of everything that we may have needed. The firepit next to the river was so peaceful. Freighter watching at its best. Our dog loved it as well. Can't wait to return!

We had such a relaxing stay in Marine City! The house was wonderful and all we needed to enjoy our stay. We rode our Harley Tri-Glide up and were able to safely park where we could see it which was important to us. A very short walk to the beach, hit up some antique shops, watched freighters & truly enjoyed the peace and quiet. We will definitely stay again!

Lovely home, very clean, great location near shops, restaurants, and parks. Brought our miniature Schnauzer, a tether was provided which was much appreciated. Loved being on the river. Hope to visit again.

Loved the view of the river and watching the freighters and Great Lakes ships pass by at all hours. The shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. All the people in the town are very friendly. The home was clean and comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home!

We are been to Marine City many times, first time staying at this property definitely won’t be our last, perfect location to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The view is absolutely stunning you couldn’t ask for a better location to watch the freighters go by! Right next to the beach and playground if traveling with kids.
