Serene Pocono Escape: 4 Mi to Tobyhanna State Park

Need more cleaning inside as bugs were everywhere.

First and for most , the most annoying was coming in at the gate I felt like they gave us a hard time even when we had everything , secondly the tv in the living room should’ve have more channel access we was only force to watch one channel the whole stay, the cleanest could have been better , I think the house alone needs an upgrade , things were too fragile in there , the no smoking rules I understand BUT be mindful about the deers out there , it could’ve have more towels and rags even though we brought our own stuff what happen if it don’t be enough , it gets cold downstairs FAST and they have an little heater which if you plug it up the circuit breaker goes off , one thing I can say nicely is that they do send someone out when needed lastly that pavement was dangerous our cars was getting stuck it could’ve been more salt and shoveled better

Place was not ready when we arrived-good thing George was there and was very helpful and do errands with no complain- he is very pleasant checking us out-overall it’s okay

This place was just what we needed in terms of rooms to stay - the house was big enough for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids. The kitchen didn’t have everything we needed however, there are stores close enough to accommodate whatever we needed. The home is in relatively good shape - certainly lived in but nice features. The appliances in the kitchen were clutch when the oven was full. Overall, great stay!
