We truly felt at home in this lovely cottage. The owner’s communication was amazing and we had everything we needed. The location was very convenient and safe (we were concerned since we had never been to BR before)- but we could not have asked for a better experience as we dropped off our daughter for her first year at LSU and only wish it wasn’t already booked for our next planned trip back to visit! Thanks Elizabeth!! We will be back!

We have used VRBO for years, and have never had a property that was so completely furnished, accurately described, and more than met our expectations. This is in the heart of a historic district, and we walked everywhere—to coffee shops, bookstores, restaurants, even the barber. Close to getting on the Interstate and main thoroughfares within Baton Rouge. Jack and Elizabeth, the owners, have done a wonderful job of restoring this quaint bungalow, and were very attentive to our needs. We’d give this a 10 star rating if that were available.

This is in the heart of a historic district, and we walked everywhere—to coffee shops, bookstores, restaurants, even the barber. Close to getting on the Interstate and main thoroughfares within Baton Rouge. Lovely property but needs updating to the pictures shown Not as accurate as portrayed. Cleanliness needs to be improved …. Coffee pot was full from previous guests and turned into a ugly science project, dirty towels in washer and towels left hanging in master bedroom (weren’t sure if they were cleaned and left to dry or what … a few had stains so we weren’t sure and left them alone), dusty overall and bedspreads need a solid cleaning. Paying a VRBO cleaning fee on top of all the other charges raises expectations for cleanliness Nice yard but could use a strong landscaping.

Nice spacious house within 2-3 miles from the Raising Cane Convention Center where the event was and Interstate 10 and 110. FYI Several food options within a 5-10 minute drive but if you’re not a seafood person which I’m not it’s challenging. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Thanks.

Great little bungalow home, in a very pretty active neighborhood. Walking distance to some really cool places to eat and or grab a drink... also pet friendly!!! So are many of the local establishments, close to the home. Will definitely look to repeat a stay, if my travels bring us back this way.

Everything was great. We drove in from Wichita KS, and it was awesome. The house was pretty cool, in a great location. The host was great, sent me a message on how to put the shower handles in order to get hot water. That was great, because we probably would have been frantic had we not known. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to anyone need a place to stay in Baton Rouge. Thanks so much

This home was just as welcoming, clean, and as presented on VRBO site as our first stay there. The king bed was super comfortable. The only concern was that adult children said they could not get the water hot in hall bathroom shower. So they showered in the primary bath shower. Other than that, great location for LSU graduation stay. We especially enjoyed the front porch swing!
