Modernised town house in the centre of Brantome, with a pretty garden

A l’arrivée, le digicode qui nous avait ete donné était celui du locataire précédent, mais les propriétaires sont réactifs. Sinon, le reste était impeccable.Logement, mieux que sur les photos, bien situé, calme, très propre, bien équipé, agréable.L’escalier qui donne accès à l’espace de vie est raide, mais le logement est presque contre la falaise ! Et du jardin en terrasses, on a une belle vue. sur Brantome, la petite Venise du Périgord.

A pretty little house on an ancient street that was charming and central. During a super hot week in May, the pleasant garden was a welcome sanctuary and the A/C made the inside comfortable at night. The house is extremely well equipped with all the little extras in the kitchen and bathroom that mean guests don't have to buy basic items. Beds comfortable and furnishings of a good quality. This is a home from home in a beautiful French village. The layout is perfect for two, and for a short time the downstairs bedroom would be fine for additional guests as long as you don't mind opening out to the street.Thank you to the kind and generous hosts, Andrew and Anne, and we would love to return.

La cuisine est très bien équipée. La climatisation fonctionne normalement. La chambre du bas n'est pas très agréable à cause de la porte d'entrée de la maison qui donne dans cette pièce, de plus une odeur désagréable s'y dégage.Attention au poêle quand il chauffe fort, ne pas laisser la caisse en bois à proximité ou du papier journal...La moquette est surprenante dans la cuisine.Dans l'ensemble, location confortable et très bien situées.

The house was clean and well maintained, the position of the property while very quiet and 5 minutes walk from the centre of Brantôme had no parking. There is parking a short walk away so it wasn’t really an issue, especially given the proximity to the centre of this beautiful historic town. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need and the house stays nice and cool even on the really hot days. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return in the future

La maison est parfaitement située au calme à proximité de tout et fraîche quand il fait très chaud ! Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de Brantôme et nous y reviendrons sûrement.
