This home is super cute and well appointed. Great for families or couples. Beautifully appointed. Large showers and ample washing and drying facilities. Comfortable beds. Plenty of serveware and cookware provided. Lots of yard to play in. Very nice deck with grill and fire pit. Space to park 3 to 4 cars. Electrical on the exterior to plug in RV and/or electric vehicle. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone we know, but we are from California and probably will never make it out this way again.

Oh my! The house was perfect: so homey, inviting, and relaxing. So many comfy and tastefully decorated places to gather in with our friends. The kitchen was SO well stocked with cooking needs, and the yard was spacious and great for playing bocce ball. Janny was detailed with check-in instructions and super responsive when we had questions. The snacks and drinks that were there for us were a special touch. Such a sweet, hospitable experience! Everyone in our group said they would totally come back again. Thank you!!

We loved our stay at Mabel & Harry's farmhouse! They've created such a lovely and relaxing space with fantastic attention to details and amenities from the home decor to the s'mores supplies to use at the fire table or fire pit outside. This was our second stay, and we'll definitely be back!

The farmhouse was just amazing. Every room was decorated in the cutest way. I loved all of the artistic detail. The beds were so comfortable, the seating perfect for watching a movie or playing games. There were tons of dishes, cups and everything you would need! Our only regret was that it was 27 degrees so we didn't get out to enjoy the beautiful deck area and fire pit. Janny made our stay very special and we really enjoyed the special treat she left for us. Everything was perfect and wonderful. We can't wait to come back. You won't regret your choice to stay here. It's amazing.

The home and property was more than we could’ve imagined!! Picture perfect with more space than a picture can show! Tall ceilings and the two living rooms are placed perfectly! The outdoor seating around the fire places were inviting and drew out many nights filled with stories to remember! When we return to Indiana, this home will be one to return too!! So blessed this is an option in small town Indiana! Loved everything about Mabel & Harry’s house!!! What a treat and what a blessing!!!

Exceptional stay. We were in town for a high school reunion, home was a fantastic place to stay… wonderful place for friends to chat and relax. She had the makings for s’mores right there (including the marshmallow roasting sticks:), kindling for an outside fire… two spacious “family” rooms… beds were super. And the location was great, you’re out in the country but only a few minutes from our old high school. This was a fabulous VRBO experience, from the initial communications with the owner to the time we checked out. Well, well done.

This place is wonderful, we completely enjoyed our short time here and wish we could have stay longer. Everything about this place is exceptional. Clean and full of amenities Plenty of room and glorious sunset! we took advantage of the gas fire pit on the deck and talked the night away. We're already planning another trip where we can stay a few nights.

Mabel and Harry’s Guest house is amazing. The home is absolutely stunning, very clean and so comfortable. Our 37 year old son said “it was the best VRBO he has ever had the pleasure to stay.” The host, Janny, was so kind, thoughtful and quick to respond. She totally surprised us with a beautiful and delicious cake and even stocked other food items-all that were so unexpected; but very much appreciated. Thank you for a fantastic weekend! We really enjoyed your beautiful home, loved your attention to details and appreciated your kindness and thoughtfulness.

This was the most relaxing atmosphere in the home and outside of the home. It was clean and comfortable. I will most definitely rent this again in the future. The host is absolutely wonderful with all her extra touches, like for instance a decorated cake waiting for us in the refrigerator!

The place is super cute and immaculately clean. The decor is obviously done by someone who has an eye for detail and the house provides everything you’d need or want. Lotsa spaces to hang out, great outdoor space for a campfire, and the Xmas decorations were so good. Communication with Janny was super prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.

This property was everything it advertised it to be! From the moment we arrived we felt right at home and fell in love with the charm of this old farmhouse. The home was decorated nicely and the house was clean. We loved the special touches that the owner left for us like the delicious cake from the local bakery, the fresh corn from their crops and supplies to make smores! The entire experience was a treat for our family!

Wow! This house is ADORABLE! Every detail is absolutely perfect in every way. We brought three families with us for a tournament and this house was 5 min away from our tournament location which was also a WIN! The decor is adorable and the kids loved the cake in the fridge to celebrate our winning games! The house is incredibly clean and organized and has everything you need to make your stay easy and relaxing. The boys loved the property to throw ball and play hide-in-seek. Janny makes her renters feel so special: Eggs, butter, orange juice, fresh bread, and the amazing cake to name a few. We booked it again in June to do the same thing over again.The families loved every minute! Thanks again, Janny! We are so thankful you restored your grandparents house and are sharing it with anyone who is interested.

We grew up in the corn and bean fields of Indiana. We are now in our sixties, seventies and eighties! We are scattered now and don't get to spend much time together. Our getaway was perfect. The house is gorgeous and so comfortingly homey .Each bedroom has its own bath. Absolutely everything you need is provided. In addition Janny s little gifts make you feel so welcomed! Thank you Janny and Thank you Mabel and Harry!

I cannot say enough about this listing! Every part of the stay feels relaxing and truly enjoyable! We chose to stay again because we had another baseball tournament in the area and Harry and Mabel’s is our go to location. The rooms are perfect! The amount of bathrooms keeps every one happy! The living areas are spacious and the outdoor amenities are AMAZING! Janny thinks of it all and makes you feel so comfortable for the stay. We cannot wait to go back! This house is more than 5 stars!

We found Mabel and Harry’s guesthouse on vrbo, we were thrilled with the home. The farmhouse is beautiful, plenty of space for our family of 10 to spread out, beds super comfortable and Janny’s attention to detail is amazing! The sunsets each night off the back deck were beautiful we will definitely be back!

It was so nice to arrive and find special treats and necessities readily available. We were here for a family Christmas and the decorations were beautiful. The house was so inviting, warm, and cozy. Our entire experience was the best we have ever had through VRBO. We will definitley return!

Best decorated house ever! Perfect for our family gathering. Hostess was most gracious and accommodating when I asked for a stand mixer. Everything was perfect-except the light switches could have been marked. Lots of flipping on/off lights looking for right ones.

We had a little trouble after a storm and the host was over first thing in the morning to see if we needed anything. Seems like she thought of everthing and more. We are talking about another trip:)

I returned to Mabel and Harry's this month for the third time, bringing a few friends with me to celebrate my 40th birthday. We were delighted to find the house exactly as charming and beautiful as we remembered it from previous years. With the Christmas decorations up, it was the perfect festive setting for a celebration. The thing that really continues to set this rental apart though is Janny's above-and-beyond hospitality. Not only was there a delicious cake in the fridge waiting for us when we arrived, but, when we forgot a few small things behind in the house, Janny found and insisted upon shipping them to us at no charge. I can't say enough about her thoughtfulness, kindness, and hospitality. Thank you, Janny, for a wonderful birthday!

Janny was so incredibly accommodating. Her extra touches were so thoughtful and sweet. The cake she gifted us with for our stay, we ending up using as our wedding cake! Very understanding and allowed both early check in and out. The property is above and beyond as what the listed stated. Overall the house was very warm and inviting, clean and had all things needed for your stay! We found Mabel and Harry’s guesthouse on vrbo, we were thrilled with the home. The farmhouse is beautiful, plenty of space for our family of 10 to spread out, beds super comfortable and Janny’s attention to detail is amazing! The four of us have been to Kokomo numerous times years past and stayed in numerous hotels which were not very gratifying. We decided to try this property and after arriving, we couldn’t be happier. The property is much nicer than advertised. Quiet, country living at its best. We will be back.

The place is stunning, a truly updated farmhouse. You are surrounded by farmland and seeing it being harvested was very calming. The place takes you back to a simpler time but with modern amenities. You are just outside Kokomo made it easy to get around town using SR 931 or US 31.

My siblings and I traveled with our mom so she could visit her brothers in Kokomo. Janny’s place was the perfect location with ALL the amenities. The pictures just don’t do it justice. She has thought of everything to make you feel comfortable. We felt very special with the sweet treat that was left behind from the local bakery. Her check in instructions were thorough and easy. We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back! I highly recommend staying here if your traveling to the area. This by far has been the best VRBO I have ever stayed in when traveling!

We booked the farmhouse several months ago when my son and his fiance decided to get married in Kokomo. The house was the perfect size for the eight of us and Janny was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend staying, if not for the accomidations, then for the brilliant sunsets.

Exceptional stay. We were in town for a high school reunion, home was a fantastic place to stay… wonderful place for friends to chat and relax. She had the makings for s’mores right there (including the marshmallow roasting sticks:), kindling for an outside fire… two spacious “family” rooms… beds were super. And the location was great, you’re out in the country but only a few minutes from our old high school. This was a fabulous VRBO experience, from the initial communications with the owner to the time we checked out. Well, well done.

Wow! This house is ADORABLE! Every detail is absolutely perfect in every way. We brought three families with us for a tournament and this house was 5 min away from our tournament location which was also a WIN! The house is incredibly clean and organized and has everything you need to make your stay easy and relaxing. The boys loved the property to throw ball and play hide-in-seek. This place is wonderful, we completely enjoyed our short time here and wish we could have stay longer. Everything about this place is exceptional. Clean and full of amenities Plenty of room and glorious sunset! we took advantage of the gas fire pit on the deck and talked the night away. We grew up in the corn and bean fields of Indiana. We are now in our sixties, seventies and eighties! We are scattered now and don't get to spend much time together. Our getaway was perfect. The house is gorgeous and so comfortingly homey .Each bedroom has its own bath. Absolutely everything you need is provided. In addition Janny s little gifts make you feel so welcomed! We had a fabulous stay here . I cant say enough how nice, comfortable, cozy yet high end with attention to every detail. Janny was so gracious and has really went above and beyond what any other VRBO i have stayed at with what food items she has stocked , to even a milk frother for our coffee that was divine ! All the furnishings are not only beautiful, but comfortable . I could go on and on about how nice the stay was . We had a family girls weekend from ages 30-77 and couldnt have picked a better place to make our memories. Lots of crafting , eating , shopping and laughing . What a treat for us that we found this place. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here , you will be happy you did !!

This property was everything it advertised it to be! From the moment we arrived we felt right at home and fell in love with the charm of this old farmhouse. The home was decorated nicely and the house was clean. The farmhouse was just amazing. Every room was decorated in the cutest way. I loved all of the artistic detail. The beds were so comfortable, the seating perfect for watching a movie or playing games. There were tons of dishes, cups and everything you would need! Our only regret was that it was 27 degrees so we didn't get out to enjoy the beautiful deck area and fire pit. Janny made our stay very special and we really enjoyed the special treat she left for us. Everything was perfect and wonderful. We can't wait to come back. You won't regret your choice to stay here. It's amazing.

Our stay was amazing! This is the best home we have ever stayed in! Coffee, milk, juice, bread and eggs were provided along with delicious bakery cake, soft drinks and sparkling water. It made our long day of travel easier. We enjoyed bonfires in the evening with firewood and kindling ready to go. Plenty of space for family to sprawl out and come together to make memories! We loved being in the country, relaxing with family, and celebrating our son’s graduation from Purdue! Highly, Highly, Highly Recommend!!
