Two days spent in this wonderful two-story house close to Mill Creek Park was well worth the booking! Steve has thoughtfully packed the house with all kinds of goodies from complimentary snacks, drinks and toiletries, as well as essentials like charging cords and umbrellas. Our only regret is that we didn't get to use the backyard due to rain. However, the front porch was perfect! We have already recommended this property to friends and family. We appreciate a owner who takes such pride and joy in their offering! You will definitely enjoy your stay!

Steve and Shawn are amazing hosts! It seems like they have thought of everything a guest could possibly want. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a nice meal. The snacks are a nice touch! Backyard is comfortable, quiet and private. Mill creek park is within walking distance and is a beautiful park with so many options for a quiet walk - or a longer hike! Just what we needed!

This property was probably the nicest setup VRBO I've ever had. The house itself was cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully labeled so it was super easy to navigate. We felt immediately welcome with a nice bottle of wine and snacks. Great coffee was available and the even the fridge had water, milk and sodas waiting. Really nice touch. The beds were super comfy and the bedrooms were again beautifully decorated, not like some rentals that have minimal to no ambiance. The living room with the nice TV and electric fireplace made for some cozy movie nights on the very comfortable furniture. This place had everything you could want. The location for us was perfect - close to some great restaurants (and a Handels Ice Cream) in Boardman, downtown Youngstown was just a 10 minute drive, and you can walk to Lanterman's Mill. The neighborhood was very nice, quiet, not a lot of traffic or noise. Nice backyard with firepit and grill and lighting, looking forward to returning to this place again and utilizing those. Could not recommend this property more. Steve, the host, was so easy to communicate with and was available if necessary. Great hosts to work with, they reflect the quality of this home and the experience. 11 out of 10 stars!!!!

This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Steve has thought of everything! There were multiple charging stations, cupboards were labeled so that you didn't have to dig around to find what you were looking for, there were ample toiletries, the fridge was stocked with a few essentials and there were snacks, coffee, tea, and wine. The house was clean, cozy, and so comfortable. Everyone slept so well! Both porches were peaceful. We spent a lot of time out back. The house is within waking distance of Lanterman's Mill. The walk to the mill was very nice, and the hiking at Lanterman's Mill was beautiful. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this location!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful farmhouse located walking distance to Mill Creek Park. We plan to stay here every time we visit because we enjoy the house so much. Again, we slept exceptionally well - the beds are so comfortable. The sectional in the living room was also a favorite (and super cozy!) to watch some March Madness games and a few movies. We were able to use the grill this time which worked wonderfully. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. Thank you again Steve and Shawn for creating a calming space and a home away from home!

What an amazing home this is. Truly as advertised with all of the amenities you could possibly want or need. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I loved sitting on the front or back porch drinking my coffee. The backyard fire pit, yard, games and yard games helped keep the kids occupied. Everything in the house was meticulously clean and organized. Steve was an absolute delight to communicate with. I truly felt at home and would happily return anytime I’m visiting Youngstown! Thank you for the incredible hospitality!

My title is not just the definition of “Homey”, but the feeling you will have when you step foot into The Farmhouse at Lanterman’s Village in a very quiet neighborhood. When we stay at a vrbo, what is most important to us is cleanliness, location and a fair price. The decor, comfortable bed & furnishings inside and outside the house as well as all the amenities exceed what you read or see on the vrbo site. The amenities are too numerous to list but the bottle of wine made our evening as we enjoyed dinner on the back porch overlooking a beautifully landscaped backyard. Change of scenery? Relax or dine out on the covered front porch with a water feature & gorgeous hanging baskets. A few things we found very helpful were the labels on things like lamp switches and cabinet contents as well as all the charging ports. When in the area we look forward to staying at The Farmhouse again.

Steven and Shawn really take such good care of their home and we felt so relaxed and cozy staying here for the weekend. From the snack bar, to the coffee bar, to the extra toiletries, every detail is handled wonderfully. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family meal and grocery stores are super close. We also really enjoyed hanging around the Christmas tree. It felt like home. As a runner, this location is perfect to run right from the door through beautiful Mill Creek Park. I really enjoyed the scenery and hills. While we didn't have a chance to enjoy the outdoor furniture, we definitely will in a future stay. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at the Farmhouse and hopefully not our last. The front porch with all the beautiful flowers, decorations and inviting furniture welcomes you. Inside you will find a well stocked modern kitchen/dining area and a cozy living room. The bedding is very comfortable. A guest basket has just about anything you might have forgotten to pack. It’s the only vrbo we have stayed at that leaves wine, fresh fruit, coffee and snacks for guests. The backyard has table/chairs, grill, outdoor lighting & a propane firepit with Adirondack chairs. All this in a quiet neighborhood. We stay local but it would be a great base for just an hour drive to Canton or Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

My Husband and I and another family member stayed in this wonderful home. It was the best VRBO experience we have had out of at least thirty places. The owners put a lot of thought into making their guests feel at home and comfortable. They have gone the extra two miles. Here is what they did to make our stay extraordinary: They have extra chargers for I Phones and androids, they have a variety of snacks and drinks for their guests, they have an unbelievably detailed book with every need anticipated. Many things in the house are labeled so they are easy to find. There are two beautiful outdoor spaces guests can enjoy. The home is immaculately clean, updated, and comfortable. The residence has everything you need. It lacks nothing that we needed. Cleanest place we have ever stayed at. The hosts have thought of everything. We have stayed there 3 times and will return this winter if there is an opening.

Our first impressions of "welcoming" and "Spotless" were dead on! We can't say enough good things about our 3 day stay. Steve and Shawn have thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly want or need. We felt at home from beginning to end! The neighborhood is quiet, and we found the master bedroom bed to be quite comfortable. If you need to stay in Youngstown near Millcreek Park, THIS is the place! We definitely plan a return visit.

They have thought of everthing at the The Farmhouse. Everything is labled so you don't have to search for what you need. They left a whole bunch of snacks. And upstairs there is a basket that has just about anything you might need if you for got to pack it. There are some old school video games in the basement and a washer/dryer if you need it.This is a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend it!!Just be prepared for stairs. The only bathroom is on the 2nd floor.

You will be so pleasantly impressed and surprised with this property inside and out. As all the reviews say … the house is well thought out and communication is amazing. It’s truly a home away from home. We slept like babies every night … that’s 6 nights! Hiking at Lanternman’s Mill is literally walking distance, but you can drive to park in their multiple lots. Handel’s ice cream after is a real treat! Meijer’s is the best for groceries and personal items. Pittsburgh zoo & aquarium is an all day great experience. We look forward to our return trip and can’t wait!

After driving for14 hours …what a sweet little treasure of a place we had to come home to for the next 5 days! They have thought of everything! The beds and bed linens were so nice as well. This was our second time staying at this beautiful farmhouse located walking distance to Mill Creek Park. We plan to stay here every time we visit because we enjoy the house so much. Again, we slept exceptionally well - the beds are so comfortable. The sectional in the living room was also a favorite (and super cozy!) to watch some March Madness games and a few movies. We were able to use the grill this time which worked wonderfully. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. Thank you again Steve and Shawn for creating a calming space and a home away from home!

My title is not just the definition of “Homey”, but the feeling you will have when you step foot into The Farmhouse at Lanterman’s Village in a very quiet neighborhood. When we stay at a vrbo, what is most important to us is cleanliness, location and a fair price. The decor, comfortable bed & furnishings inside and outside the house as well as all the amenities exceed what you read or see on the vrbo site. The amenities are too numerous to list but the bottle of wine made our evening as we enjoyed dinner on the back porch overlooking a beautifully landscaped backyard. Change of scenery? Relax or dine out on the covered front porch with a water feature & gorgeous hanging baskets. A few things we found very helpful were the labels on things like lamp switches and cabinet contents as well as all the charging ports. When in the area we look forward to staying at The Farmhouse again.

Steven and Shawn really take such good care of their home and we felt so relaxed and cozy staying here for the weekend. From the snack bar, to the coffee bar, to the extra toiletries, every detail is handled wonderfully. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family meal and grocery stores are super close. We also really enjoyed hanging around the Christmas tree. It felt like home. As a runner, this location is perfect to run right from the door through beautiful Mill Creek Park. I really enjoyed the scenery and hills. While we didn't have a chance to enjoy the outdoor furniture, we definitely will in a future stay. We will definitely be back!

Everything about this property is simply wonderful. Even the steep stairs are a good workout! All the details are included, which shows what wonderful hosts Steve and Shawn are. My husband and son, who are both sometimes a little picky, both raved about how much they loved this little place. This home is in the perfect location if you want to be centrally located between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Canton (our big three destinations). I agree wholeheartedly with all the other positive reviews, and I will definitely try to book here when I am in the Boardman/Youngstown area in the future.

Steve and Shawn are amazing hosts! It seems like they have thought of everything a guest could possibly want. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a nice meal. The snacks are a nice touch! Backyard is comfortable, quiet and private. Mill creek park is within walking distance and is a beautiful park with so many options for a quiet walk - or a longer hike! Just what we needed!

I want to give the worst review possible so I that I can keep this place our little secret hideaway, but I just can’t. This is our second stay at this property and it is the best ever. If you want to ruin every VRBO stay, stay here first. Your expectations on what a host provides and does for you will never be met again. Thank you Steve and Shawn for having an amazing place and being such awesome hosts!

We arrived late evening/early morning after a very long day of traveling. It was nice to arrive at a well lit and very cozy & welcoming home. It had all the amenities and comfort of home. The cabinets were tastefully labeled so it was easy to find your way around the home. Great location, close to Lanterman’s Mill, Mill Creek Park, restaurants and easy access to others communities. Steve the host was very attentive to our needs and stayed in communique with us. Would recommend staying here for complete relaxation, spending time with family and friends or just need a comfortable place to stay.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The host thought of everything imaginable, the house was beautiful, cozy, tidy and well appointed. The front porch were so restful and welcoming. Steve was very responsive every time I sent an email with a question. We never imagined a VRBO would be so perfect. More cost effective, more privacy more space and complimentary snacks . I have just completed a booking for later this summer. What I consider to be is a major "bonus" is that The property owner, Steve lives nearby. Responses to inquiries very rapid. I will say though if there are more than (4) people in one's travel party, more spacious accommodations should be considered.

What an amazing home this is. Truly as advertised with all of the amenities you could possibly want or need. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I loved sitting on the front or back porch drinking my coffee. The backyard fire pit, yard, games and yard games helped keep the kids occupied. Everything in the house was meticulously clean and organized. Steve was an absolute delight to communicate with. I truly felt at home and would happily return anytime I’m visiting Youngstown! Thank you for the incredible hospitality!

This property was probably the nicest setup VRBO I've ever had. The house itself was cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully labeled so it was super easy to navigate. We felt immediately welcome with a nice bottle of wine and snacks. Great coffee was available and the even the fridge had water, milk and sodas waiting. Really nice touch. The beds were super comfy and the bedrooms were again beautifully decorated, not like some rentals that have minimal to no ambiance. The living room with the nice TV and electric fireplace made for some cozy movie nights on the very comfortable furniture. This place had everything you could want. The location for us was perfect - close to some great restaurants (and a Handels Ice Cream) in Boardman, downtown Youngstown was just a 10 minute drive, and you can walk to Lanterman's Mill. The neighborhood was very nice, quiet, not a lot of traffic or noise. Nice backyard with firepit and grill and lighting, looking forward to returning to this place again and utilizing those. Could not recommend this property more. Steve, the host, was so easy to communicate with and was available if necessary. Great hosts to work with, they reflect the quality of this home and the experience. 11 out of 10 stars!!!!

My husband and I use Vrbo for most of our long weekends. This one was the best stocked of all the house we have stayed at. There was coffee and creamer (which I always forget to bring) banana, apples, and oranges. Other easy to grab snacks. The area was nice and safe.

This was our third time staying at this lovely home in Youngstown to visit family. We love how Steven and Shawn update it seasonally (in November the Christmas tree was up along with holiday directions). Everything about the home makes me smile, from the beautiful kitchen, to the comfy beds and the relaxing couch in the living room. We even got to grill in the backyard and enjoy the summer weather. Plus, you cannot beat the location steps away from Mill Creek Park and its miles of paths and trails. We can't wait to go back later this year!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The place was very cozy and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Great location near Mill Creek Park. If you forgot anything, no worries since the house was well stocked. We would definitely return, and hope to in the near future.

Two days spent in this wonderful two-story house close to Mill Creek Park was well worth the booking! Steve has thoughtfully packed the house with all kinds of goodies from complimentary snacks, drinks and toiletries, as well as essentials like charging cords and umbrellas. Our only regret is that we didn't get to use the backyard due to rain. However, the front porch was perfect! We have already recommended this property to friends and family. We appreciate a owner who takes such pride and joy in their offering! You will definitely enjoy your stay!

Steve and Shawn are amazing hosts! It seems like they have thought of everything a guest could possibly want. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a nice meal. The snacks are a nice touch! Backyard is comfortable, quiet and private. Mill creek park is within walking distance and is a beautiful park with so many options for a quiet walk - or a longer hike! Just what we needed!

This property was probably the nicest setup VRBO I've ever had. The house itself was cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully labeled so it was super easy to navigate. We felt immediately welcome with a nice bottle of wine and snacks. Great coffee was available and the even the fridge had water, milk and sodas waiting. Really nice touch. The beds were super comfy and the bedrooms were again beautifully decorated, not like some rentals that have minimal to no ambiance. The living room with the nice TV and electric fireplace made for some cozy movie nights on the very comfortable furniture. This place had everything you could want. The location for us was perfect - close to some great restaurants (and a Handels Ice Cream) in Boardman, downtown Youngstown was just a 10 minute drive, and you can walk to Lanterman's Mill. The neighborhood was very nice, quiet, not a lot of traffic or noise. Nice backyard with firepit and grill and lighting, looking forward to returning to this place again and utilizing those. Could not recommend this property more. Steve, the host, was so easy to communicate with and was available if necessary. Great hosts to work with, they reflect the quality of this home and the experience. 11 out of 10 stars!!!!

My husband and I use Vrbo for most of our long weekends. This one was the best stocked of all the house we have stayed at. There was coffee and creamer (which I always forget to bring) banana, apples, and oranges. Other easy to grab snacks. The area was nice and safe.

This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Steve has thought of everything! There were multiple charging stations, cupboards were labeled so that you didn't have to dig around to find what you were looking for, there were ample toiletries, the fridge was stocked with a few essentials and there were snacks, coffee, tea, and wine. The house was clean, cozy, and so comfortable. Everyone slept so well! Both porches were peaceful. We spent a lot of time out back. The house is within waking distance of Lanterman's Mill. The walk to the mill was very nice, and the hiking at Lanterman's Mill was beautiful. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this location!

Why anyone would stay in a hotel instead of Steve's lovely home is beyond me. The snacks provided by the host were exceptional. Didn't have to spend funds at a restaurant for breakfast. Extremely nice touch with the toiletries provided as well.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful farmhouse located walking distance to Mill Creek Park. We plan to stay here every time we visit because we enjoy the house so much. Again, we slept exceptionally well - the beds are so comfortable. The sectional in the living room was also a favorite (and super cozy!) to watch some March Madness games and a few movies. We were able to use the grill this time which worked wonderfully. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. Thank you again Steve and Shawn for creating a calming space and a home away from home!

Steven and Shawn really take such good care of their home and we felt so relaxed and cozy staying here for the weekend. From the snack bar, to the coffee bar, to the extra toiletries, every detail is handled wonderfully. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a family meal and grocery stores are super close. We also really enjoyed hanging around the Christmas tree. It felt like home. As a runner, this location is perfect to run right from the door through beautiful Mill Creek Park. I really enjoyed the scenery and hills. While we didn't have a chance to enjoy the outdoor furniture, we definitely will in a future stay. We will definitely be back!

Not only did the property surpass our expectations in terms of cleanliness, we were impressed at how well-stocked it was. The hosts thought about everything, from snacks and coffee to games and extra phone chargers. We also aren’t super familiar with the area and wanted to make sure it felt safe, and we were pleased that the home is on a safe street and felt very secure. Would highly recommend!

This was our second stay at the Farmhouse and hopefully not our last. The front porch with all the beautiful flowers, decorations and inviting furniture welcomes you. Inside you will find a well stocked modern kitchen/dining area and a cozy living room. The bedding is very comfortable. A guest basket has just about anything you might have forgotten to pack. It’s the only vrbo we have stayed at that leaves wine, fresh fruit, coffee and snacks for guests. The backyard has table/chairs, grill, outdoor lighting & a propane firepit with Adirondack chairs. All this in a quiet neighborhood. We stay local but it would be a great base for just an hour drive to Canton or Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

If anyone is in this area and does not choose this rental - you made the wrong choice! We hope to come back.

The house was incredibly decorated and clean. The host provided breakfast cereals, milk and fruit. The host also provided snacks and an abundance of traveler toiletry replacement items. There were instructions and labels on every cabinet making locating things extremely easy. The fire pit in the back yard was wonderful, we enjoyed one night between rainstorms. The kitchen was very well equipped.

This is our go-to spot for our frequent visits to Youngstown and we love it so much! The house is very well cared for and we feel right at home when we stay. The location is awesome -- just steps away from the beautiful Mill Creek Park. We love the snack bar and toiletries station-- whatever you might need this home will have it. I was pleased with the property from the moment I pulled into the driveway. Everything outside was well manicured, and the front porch was so inviting. The inside certainly didn't disappoint either!! We were there on Easter weekend, and Steve had little Easter baskets for my mom and I sitting on the table as soon as we entered. The house was very well-furnished, and the organization was next level. I loved everything about the house, and Steve did an absolutely amazing job at making us feel right at home. The level of thoughtfulness these hosts put into their property is unlike anything I've ever experienced. 10/10 recommend! Would come back in a heartbeat if I was ever in the area again!
