Waterfront River Cottage for 2, dog-friendly

We loved our stay at the cottage. We are return guests and could not have been happier. This quaint little house has everything you need. The views are stunning and location convenient. The perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine looking out over the water.

Very comfortable and accommodating . However the coffee maker did not work and no cork screw for wine bottle. Minor things. Overall a very lovely cottage.

River Cottage is perfect. My husband and I were visiting family in the area, and were so happy in this beautiful little retreat. It has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The location on the ricer is stunning with a deck ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The cottage is cheerful and comfortable, with a bright and well stocked kitchen. We love River cottage and plan to return.

The River Cottage sits on a long approach to the wide Magothy River, just before it spills into Chesapeake Bay. From the cottage back door, you take a flagstone path to the river dock. It is so quiet, all you hear are birds, ducks and the water lapping against the shore.
