every thing was excellent, but it would have been a good idea for a carton of milk to be left in the fridge, for a cup of tea while we waited the arrival of our grocery order.

Amazing property. Housekeeper was extremely helpful. House is well equipped and we enjoyed a family birthday celebration there. Large kitchen suited to catering for a group. Comfortable lounge. Furnishings lovely. Drive is very steep which was not an issue for our group but would be unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility.

We were all so impressed with the house, beautiful well fitted out kitchen, lovely lounge and stunning bathrooms and showers, as a gardener the only downside, the front garden.

Communication has been excellent and location was just right for our family of 9 to go away for a few days. 15 mins walk down into Whitby (slightly longer to get back as uphill!) so just right as we had my elderly mother-in-law with us. Whole house was just what we needed for eating, socialising and sleeping with all rooms very clean and quiet. Showers were brill and Aga a plus point for cooking breakfast in the morning! Would recommend for any family gathering to discover this area i.e. Robin Hood's Bay is 15 mins away.
