BlackDog Hideaway_Hot Tub, (2) Arcades, Foosball, PingPong, Smart Tv's, Cable + HOA Amenity Passes

This was an unusual Christmas with significant rain until the Tuesday before Christmas. The house is comfortable with a large kitchen and gas oven/stove so if the power goes out you can still cook! The house is large with some video games that were a huge hit with the 6 and 4 year olds.

The property was in an excellent location, just across the street we could pick up the trail that leads to downtown Truckee. It was a wonderful 2 mile walk with the dogs to a very friendly downtown neighborhood. The hot tub was clean and a wonderful addition for the cool evenings of Truckee.

This was the perfect home for our trip! I felt so welcome bringing our dog with us. The backyard area was great for the kids to play in the snow all day long.

Black Dog Hideaway was the perfect lodging for us. They are kids and pet friendly, and are in close proximity to ski resorts, grocery store and more. We had 6 adults and 2 kids in our party. Everyone had a comfortable bedding option. Kitchen and common areas were spacious so folks could hang out or spread out. Foosball and ping pong table + board games were a plus for hanging out and having fun after a day of skiing. Everyone, including the pooch, had a wonderful time!

The picture are great but the property itself is very dark. We had two small grandchildren with us that were not allowed upstairs except to sleep. This would be great for older children to use the games upstairs and keep them occupied while in the house. We used tje fooseball and ping pong table in the garage everyday and the girls 3&4 had a great time. Evening were filled with games. We spent most of our days outdoors and visiting friends in Truckee. The house could use a little updating but was well equipped with everything that we needed. Chris at Alpenglow was very responsive to our needs. Checkin and check out was easy.
