We very much enjoyed our stay in Byways, good location, easy walk into town and on road parking not a problem. We would definitely stay again. Always try and book with Keswick Cottages if we can.

Byways is the perfect cottage we have been going for 8 years and we love it, sometimes twice a year Very cosy has everything you need plus always immaculate and clean. The cottage has been updated recently newly painted rooms and new carpet etc looks fab well impressed lovely bathroom and two good size bedroom's. We take our Cocker Spaniel too because doggie friendly plus 5 minutes walk Into town so near everything plus Fitz park. We cannot wait to go again next year

Cottage was fine, pretty much as we expected. A couple of little niggles you may wish to take on board. The bathroom lock is very basic and very sharp and stiff. I hurt my fingers several times when using it. Also, the bath is very difficult to get out of. Very high with nothing to hold onto. None of our party are old or infirm but we found it difficult, so anyone less steady would certainly struggle. Perhaps a handle on the side of the bath would help. Also, the frying pan - impossible to cook with it. Everything stuck straight away. I appreciate owners dont want to put top quality things in the cottages as they will disappear but this definitely needs replacing. Apart from that, all fine. Excellent location and it had everything we needed. Karen
