Cabane Gemme de Montagne ★ Bain à Remous ★ Leavenworth

We're a group of 5 and originally supposed to stay during December when the unfortunate and devastating flooding hit throughout Washington and Leavenworth especially. We had to make the decision to reschedule our trip to a later date and Lena was super accommodating and kind through the whole ordeal.When we finally got to stay in Leavenworth The cabin was super cute, cozy, and clean. Plus distant enough from town to be quiet but close enough for it to be a short drive. The kitchen and living room were all spacious and had plenty of room for all of us to comfortably hang out in. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Unfortunately we had a mouse get into the cabin while we were staying here. There were mouse droppings in the closets and all around the bedroom floor/dressers. We asked the owner to come take care of the mouse and clean the droppings up. She said she would let the cleaning staff know and dropped off two mouse traps at the front door the following day. They never came and cleaned. She stated they don’t want to enter the property while guests are staying there. I appreciate the privacy, but I don’t want to deal with catching and cleaning up after mice on my vacation, especially at the price we were paying. When we requested a partial refund for the hours we spent not sleeping (knowing there was a mouse running around the room we were sleeping in) time we spent cleaning, and the time I spent catching and removing the mouse, the most she would refund was $200. She also implied the mouse must have come into the cabin when we left the door open. My wife and I grew up in the country. We don’t leave doors open.

We all had a great time. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We picked this place specifically because we wanted a hot tub. It was clean and hot. We used it both evenings.
