Excellent accommodations. Wide open space for gathering between kitchen, dining and living room. Great outdoor deck and fire pit area. Close to Prince Galitzin SP hiking trails. Only a 10 min. drive to Coalport for groceries at Leyo’s and local pubs and restaurants. Overall very comfortable stay.

Absolutely fabulous! We loved our stay at Oar House. The amenities were excellent; air con, kitchen fully stocked with utensils, large fridge/freezer, coffee maker (pod or filter), ample towels & bedding to name a few. Its a great location for venturing out to the nearby state parks and other attractions, so all in all we had a great time. Thanks Andy, for sharing your property with us and it was also great to meet your dad; such a lovely guy!

The cabin was just perfect for our fishing and kayaking trip. It was clean and well stocked with towels, shower supplies, laundry soap and even coffee. I never knew we could stay so close to the lake that I went to every summer growing up that has such cherished memories for me. We will be going back!

Beautiful cabin! Just like the pictures. We adored the decorations and attention to detail. They even had corn hole boards with the “Oar House” logo on them. All the railings were truly oars! It is such a cute idea!! There were plenty of towels and necessities to make our stay very comfortable. The beds were even comfy and did not squeak. Very spacious!! The property is private but yet you have neighbors. A cute screened in porch/sunroom on the front was perfect to enjoy the morning coffee with animal friends crossing by. It was close to the lake and all activities we wanted to do locally. The host was super helpful in planning our weekend get a way and very responsive.

We had a great time at Oar House. We were surprised that the house was furnished eating and cooking utensils, games, coloring books and crayons and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Oarhouse and would highly recommend it. Everything was clean and well-cared for. We had a pleasant stay at the Oar House. The upstairs mattresses were harder than what we personally prefer (side sleepers complained of hip and shoulder pain) and couldn't get the remote on the Sleep Number mattress downstairs to work. I'm not sure if it was the remote or user error though. The drip pans on the stovetop burners were a little greasy (as were the utensils beside the stove from splatters), but everything else was very clean. The host definitely went the extra mile to provide all the little extras to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We loved the coffee bar and enjoyed the wooded view from the sunroom while sipping our morning coffee. We also enjoyed the wildlife prints and the cozy decor. The deck and fire ring areas were also lovely. I would definitely recommend this property..

The host answered every question I had quickly! Very professional and thee entire trip was amazing! I had everything that I needed right here in the house and couldn't ask for anything more. Very clean and well kept place! Very relaxing and quiet! The privacy was just what I needed while not being to far from the lake and other cool spots and places to explore, enjoy, and have a great time! I WILL be back! That's a guarantee!!

The oar house was great and Andy was very kind and responsive. Note to those traveling with small children; the only room with a door is the master. The double beds in the loft are not the most comfortable for adults (but the master bed is).

Located a few miles from our family cabin, I'm so thankful I found the Oar House for the weekends when a LOT of family is up at the cabin! It was a great place for my kids and I to stay. I had trouble with the keypad, but the owner was able to unlock the door remotely, and then I used the key for the front door the rest of the time. The beds were comfortable and that shower head was AMAZING! I will be checking for availability here in the future when we need an overflow place to stay when the family comes to the cabin!

Wonderful cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Weather was bad the day we were scheduled to arrive and the owner invited us to come a day early-with no extra charge! Everything was clean and easy to find. Teenagers were in the loft with plenty of room to spare. Warm water despite -2 temps. Great porch on front and side of property! We didn’t want to leave :)

He was very easy to communicate with. They house was clean and very cute. Im sorry that we didnt get to stay the whole weekend do to a power outage. I would definitely go back.

I really like how everything was clean and provided for us. I liked how quick Andy was getting back to me when I had questions we had a really nice time sitting by the campfire with family.

The oar house was great and Andy was very kind and responsive. Note to those traveling with small children; the only room with a door is the master. The double beds in the loft are not the most comfortable for adults (but the master bed is).

The host answered every question I had quickly! Very professional and thee entire trip was amazing! I had everything that I needed right here in the house and couldn't ask for anything more. Very clean and well kept place! Very relaxing and quiet! The privacy was just what I needed while not being to far from the lake and other cool spots and places to explore, enjoy, and have a great time! I WILL be back! That's a guarantee!!

I had never used Vrbo before and it felt too good to be true how easy the booking process was! Not only that, but also the check-in process and communication with our host was easy and great as well! The host kindly allowed us early check-in and the place was so clean and has everything you could need! I would recommend this location to anyone looking to have a lovely, comfortable stay in a beautiful location! We miss the Oar House already!

Located a few miles from our family cabin, I'm so thankful I found the Oar House for the weekends when a LOT of family is up at the cabin! It was a great place for my kids and I to stay. I had trouble with the keypad, but the owner was able to unlock the door remotely, and then I used the key for the front door the rest of the time. The beds were comfortable and that shower head was AMAZING! I will be checking for availability here in the future when we need an overflow place to stay when the family comes to the cabin!

Excellent accommodations. Wide open space for gathering between kitchen, dining and living room. Great outdoor deck and fire pit area. Close to Prince Galitzin SP hiking trails. Only a 10 min. drive to Coalport for groceries at Leyo’s and local pubs and restaurants. Overall very comfortable stay.

Absolutely fabulous! We loved our stay at Oar House. The amenities were excellent; air con, kitchen fully stocked with utensils, large fridge/freezer, coffee maker (pod or filter), ample towels & bedding to name a few. Its a great location for venturing out to the nearby state parks and other attractions, so all in all we had a great time. Thanks Andy, for sharing your property with us and it was also great to meet your dad; such a lovely guy!

The cabin was just perfect for our fishing and kayaking trip. It was clean and well stocked with towels, shower supplies, laundry soap and even coffee. I never knew we could stay so close to the lake that I went to every summer growing up that has such cherished memories for me. We will be going back!

My husband, mother in law, and I stayed here recently. The home was cleaned and well stocked with towels, bedding and other essentials. Very close to the lake, trails and local eateries. Would recommend 100% and am already checking our calendar to plan our next trip!

Spent Memorial Day weekend there with family. Was very clean, comfortable and had everything you would need for a nice relaxing weekend. Minutes from the lake. Great outdoor spaces to spend time together.

Lovely place to relax/enjoy nature and it was close enough to my husband's home town that we were able to see all of our family while in town. Overall would highly recommend and plan to stay here again in the future.
