Downtown Provo Retreat

The house was lovely - clean, easy to enter, and contained slightly more than the minimum necessary to be considered equipped as a vacation property. There were books, and games. There wasn't an assortment of dishwares, pots, etc., kitchen had a basic stove, and didn't contain any specialty appliances like chopper or beater - so it's not a big food prep kitchen, but we had no issues with anything. There was a slight cat odor smell when we entered, but once we were in the house, but it went away quickly. There are a few little gems of restaurants within easy walking distance, and in the property next door there's a boutique nail salon. I wish we had known - I would've booked mani-pedi's for my daughter and I. For out of towners- Center street is around the corner & absolutely full of life in the evenings - live music, ice cream parlors, karaoke... very family friendly.To our host: please consider putting an alarm on the property or an additional interior bolt on the door. While the neighborhood does appear quiet and low traffic, we would have felt more comfortable if there had been a way to lock up internally that the host/cleaning crew/past guest couldn't access using the standard key. I did end up putting items in front of the doors at night, because a single keyed door handle isn't quite to the level of security standard we expect as a traveling guest. We'd recommend this property and are grateful to the hosts for making it available for our use.

Very clean, well decorated, all the kitchen items we needed. close to grocery store. Ample and comfortable seating. Easy check in. Quiet neighborhood

We arrived to the property and had no check in instructions. Ex how to access the bldg, no door code or instructions where the key was. We later found it but never received anything from the landlord. The space was also not cleaned and none of the laundry was done including the bed sheets. We got ahold of the owner and had to put the linens on the bed ourselves.We were also not notified there was a tenant in the basement. We found this out in the middle of the night after the tenant in the basement started making a ton of noise and woke us up which was unsettling. We thought the home was being broken into but after further investigation heard talking and went around the back of the home and saw a seperate entrance and a bicycle so we knew there was another tenant in the home which was not mentioned in the listing.

Beautifully maintained home steps from the Provo City Center Temple and BYU. This was a perfect little home for my daughter and I as I was dropping her off as a new freshman at BYU. Great location and had everything I needed. Communication with the owner was great. He responded quickly any time I reached out. Looking forward to staying again!

This was a great little house. Good location just one block from Provo city center temple (can see from the front porch). Very clean and cute. Jorge was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.
