Our stay was amazing, very quiet and comfortable. Morning coffee on the back porch swing overlooking the river was how we started everyday. Everything we needed was there and had no issues

Great location!close to several restaurants and a grocery store.we loved sitting around the fire pit and watching the river.the swing on the porch is very nice also.the cabin had everything we needed.we will definitely be coming back

A cute no frills cabin. Basics are provided such as toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen utensils. The back porch has a swinging porch over looking the river. A fire pit is great for relaxing evenings by the river and smores. Overall a good experience for a short term stay

Communication was Excellant. Check in without any problem. Place was just as described. My husband and I and our old lab had a very relaxing weekend. Caught some great rainbow trout and the outdoor cleaning station came in very handy. Ate at a couple local restaurants but really liked the burgers and steak at Ricky Bobby’s. Would recommend guests bring outdoor chairs if you want to sit around the fire. The porch was great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Would highly recommend for a relaxing time.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The access to the river was super convenient as we had brought kayaks and fishing poles to do some fishing on the Obey River. The outdoor fish cleaning station also proved to be very handy, as well as the hose and outdoor furniture for sitting around the fire at night. It was close enough to town so that we could get groceries and anything else we needed, but we didn’t need much of anything because the cabin was well appointed with all the things that we needed for cooking and a comfortable stay. The hosts were very responsive via messaging whenever we had a question. We found a couple places that we absolutely loved in terms of dining out and getting to know the locals. We would highly recommend the Old Town Tavern for burgers and in Livingston, JD‘s Sandwich Shop. Best Reuben I have ever had and totally worth the 25 minute drive to get there. All around it was an excellent trip, and I hope that we can return again in the near future. Thank you so much for everything!

Our family reunion was at SSSP, but couldn’t get a cabin. This place is 15-17 mins drive to there. The place looks exactly as pictured. We enjoyed fishing right in the back. There is a RV park next door, but it is concealed well with vegetation and bamboo screens in the back, where you spend your time. There is not a washer/dryer or dishwasher. The cabin is CLEAN. I saw one rolly-polly. That’s it. No bugs, no mice…things you expect near the water. The river is cold and beautiful. Lots of trout. We had a campfire by the water and it was so cool and refreshing outside. The beds are comfortable and linens clean and soft. Everything you need for a rustic cabin. Furniture is clean and comfy. Small Dollar Store and grocery just blocks away. Didn’t see or hear another person the whole week. Respectful neighbors. Would recommend for a small family of four or a couple. Oh- don’t skip Dale Hollow Pizza! Hope to return again next Summer!

Found this place after finding out the marinas were all booked up for the duration of our trip. So glad I did. Cabin was amazing. It was clean and well stocked with just about everything you could possibly need. The veiw was beautiful. The river had high fishing potential but the dam was generating most of our stay so the currents were VERY strong. Great place to stay, would definitely return.

House was clean,well stocked. Close to a dollar store but we didn’t get out much. Bed was comfy most of all it was quiet. Water was right there so you can walk out and fish. Had a good time.

The cabin was clean organized and well stocked. Except for trash bags. Had a musky smell, maybe from moisture from the location. A bottle of febreze freshened it up. Fishing was great in the Obey river. Caught several trout bank fishing there. We will definitely go back. No problems with the kids or people in the campgrounds. I do wish the cleaning table had a fold down cover to keep it clean.

We love staying here! Perfect get away to reconnect,fish,and venture around. The location is awesome with the river just a few steps away.The home is super clean, has everything you need , if you need anything the stores are right there and the people are very friendly. little close to campground but no problem with campers at all. was very clean. great tv had everything we needed. road narrow waited hour and a half while they put downcold pack. loved the back porch with fan & lights. and view of the river. guys had problem with stool lid staying up. this was probably the best visit we have had in several years. no problem with door. appreciate the convience to celina reunion location. thank you so much

Almost everything was just as expected! The dirty ceiling fans were our issue. We felt if we turned them on it would cause the dust to go all over. We knew it was an easy fix and we could have cleaned them if we really needed to use them. This only slightly hindered our stay because everything else was great! was great!

Everything was nice other than the mattress in the master. It was WAY to hard like sleeping on the floor. We tried the 1st night but slept on the sofa and love seat the following night.

The cabin was nice and the walk down to the river was nice. We had a beautiful view of the Obey River. The master bedroom mattress was very firm and the cabin had a bit of a musty odor. Also it was right next to a travel trailer park.

Cute and charming River Cabin that was super clean and well stocked, all this and a beautiful view of the Misty covered Obey Rive. This cabin is located very close to town and Dale Hollow Lake Marina. We enjoyed our stay and the host provided excellent information about driving direction and local eateries. Great choice and our Boston Terrier lived like a queen for two days!

We had a nice, relaxing weekend stay at the Misty Haven. Everything worked as described. The back porch with the river view was fantastic. The cabin is next to a campground that I think was closed for the season. It was nice and quiet.

Really enjoyed the area and the fishing was fantastic! Cabin was a little small but met our needs. We were there to enjoy the outdoors anyway. Nice back porch and the river was right out the back door. Side note: the fish cleaning station came in real handy!

Cabin was clean and conveniently located close to the lake. Being on the river was a huge bonus as well. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

The cold water shower knob came off in my husband’s hand. He fixed it but it was not as easy as just screwing it back in. Our friend had stayed there a few months before and said the same thing had happened and it was reported to the owner. I emailed the owner but never received a response. Also, the toilet paper supply was low so we went to the Dollar General and bought some. The cabin was cute overall but not ready for guests.

My husband, son, and I took a few days on school spring break to go relax and do some fishing. The place was perfect for that. It was quiet, right on the river, and only a few minutes from the Dale Hollow Dam and Lake so we went there for a few hours one day as well. Quiet for relaxing and close enough to town to go grab a DQ Blizzard since calories don't count on vacation, right!! The host, Jonathan, was so nice and very quick to respond. Thank you!!

Great weekend getaway! Close to everything in a cute, small town. We’ve already talked about coming back in the future with our small boat! Perfect location for relaxing next to the river. Thank you!

Our family reunion was at SSSP, but couldn’t get a cabin. This place is 15-17 mins drive to there. The place looks exactly as pictured. We enjoyed fishing right in the back. There is a RV park next door, but it is concealed well with vegetation and bamboo screens in the back, where you spend your time. There is not a washer/dryer or dishwasher. The cabin is CLEAN. I saw one rolly-polly. That’s it. No bugs, no mice…things you expect near the water. The river is cold and beautiful. Lots of trout. We had a campfire by the water and it was so cool and refreshing outside. The beds are comfortable and linens clean and soft. Everything you need for a rustic cabin. Furniture is clean and comfy. Small Dollar Store and grocery just blocks away. Didn’t see or hear another person the whole week. Respectful neighbors. Would recommend for a small family of four or a couple. Oh- don’t skip Dale Hollow Pizza! Hope to return again next Summer!

Cute and charming River Cabin that was super clean and well stocked, all this and a beautiful view of the Misty covered Obey Rive. This cabin is located very close to town and Dale Hollow Lake Marina. We enjoyed our stay and the host provided excellent information about driving direction and local eateries. Great choice and our Boston Terrier lived like a queen for two days!

Nothing fancy but just what we were looking for. Access to Dale Hollow was great, very peaceful and secluded. Cabin has great River View and had the needed amenities for the week.

The Cabin was perfect! So peaceful and what a treat to be right on the Obey River. Great location only a few minute drive to Celina and Dale Hollow Dam. We will definitely be staying here again!

My Husband & I traveled from San Diego to visit our Son & Daughter in law for Thanksgiving. This little cabin by the river was perfect! It had everything we needed! It was so quiet and cozy, close to restaurants and stores! I would highly recommend!

The River cabin was very cute and satisfied our needs. I wish it did have in the description that it is next to a camp ground. Some kid next door kept yelling “stranger danger” when my husband was out fishing. That was a down fall to the property location. However, it did provide a nice getaway for the weekend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The access to the river was super convenient as we had brought kayaks and fishing poles to do some fishing on the Obey River. The outdoor fish cleaning station also proved to be very handy, as well as the hose and outdoor furniture for sitting around the fire at night. It was close enough to town so that we could get groceries and anything else we needed, but we didn’t need much of anything because the cabin was well appointed with all the things that we needed for cooking and a comfortable stay. The hosts were very responsive via messaging whenever we had a question. We found a couple places that we absolutely loved in terms of dining out and getting to know the locals. We would highly recommend the Old Town Tavern for burgers and in Livingston, JD‘s Sandwich Shop. Best Reuben I have ever had and totally worth the 25 minute drive to get there. All around it was an excellent trip, and I hope that we can return again in the near future. Thank you so much for everything!

Cottage was clean,well stocked and very comfortable. Back porch was perfect for peaceful downtime and for watching fog roll in on the river. Absolutely will be returning.

House was clean , stocked paper goods and dish soaps and hand soaps, towels. Could use a full size frying pan , ants in the kitchen, maybe a up dated grill . Beautiful spot on the river would book again.
