This property was even better than the photos suggest. Private and serene. The kayakers enjoyed the open water. The non-kayakers enjoyed reading and enjoying nature from the Adirondack chairs on the dock. We also enjoyed the porch. The house was clean and modern inside. The fact that there was no ensuite worked best--both bathrooms were accessible to the six of us.

Absolutely great place, beautiful decorated house with a lot of space, very well equipped kitchen, modern washing maschine and dryer. Great site with outside table and hammock. Access to water and canoes: great for bird watching. And there are chicken, you may eat the eggs. It was the best place we stayed at for our roadtrip, the kids absolutely loved it there.

The stay was terrific. The place was very clean, check in was seamless. The property is on a great piece of water and the property is big itself. It was crazy hot like 93 degrees for the days we were there but the house AC kept the place cool the whole time. Chickens very cute and had an egg.Minnow trap - excellent.Caught a fish off the dock- looked like a perch.We rode our bikes up the the country store.Took our boat to Blackwater.Would highly recommend and may be back in the future. Thanks Trevor, you’re a solid host.

A perfect escape from city living! Clean property, easy to access kayaks and canoe for wonderful paddling right from the dock and a great fire pit in the yard. So peaceful. The bathrooms were clean and inviting after a day on the water. The kitchen had everything needed to help enjoy a cooked meal of fresh veggies from nearby Emily’s Produce (BIG recommendation!). Loved the property. Home well-maintained and well-appointed. Clean and comfortable. The kayaks, canoe and dock were our favorites! Trevor, the homeowner was accessible for answering questions or taking care of any issues. On day 1 there was a problem with one of the major appliances and I texted Trevor, who responded immediately and solved the problem quickly. Recommend without hesitation.

We had a great stay - we kayaked with a blue heron, enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens, and loved the swing! The house is more spacious than we expected, and there is a crib and high chair for littles. A bald eagle and hummingbird made some appearances also. The screened-in porch is great if it gets buggy. Definitely recommend!

A well taken care of property. House was comfortable for the three of us. Almost a dozen fresh eggs during our time there. Firepit, dock, kayak and canoe, crab traps. Bald eagles, ospreys, great blue herons. A great place to trr wet jac or be active.

Three of us stayed overnight on a girl's weekend visit to Blackwater. This property is beautiful! Sunrise over the water was amazing. The house was spotless, stocked with everything you need right down to shower products. The furniture is very comfortable, beds are as well. We didn't get to use the screened porch as it was too chilly, but it will be great in warmer weather. The chickens had a lot to say in the morning, so I felt obligated to stop and visit for a bit. Will definitely stay here again.

With the place allowing pets, definitely the cleanest house we’ve ever stayed at! You don’t need anything but clothes and your fury friend! They offer everything! Great food at Woolford Country Store and not even a mile down the road! We rarely left the house, very peaceful and relaxing!!

The property was nice. The creek runs out back and it was nice to be able to sit on the back porch. But it needs a little cleaning. There were cobwebs everywhere. Maybe we were the first visitors in a while?

Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. When we arrived, we were greeted by a heron on the dock. The location on the water is great, and we took advantage of the kayaks and canoe. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. And having fresh eggs was a perk!

I loved my recent visit to this property. It was so rejuvenating to be able to just go into the yard and sit on the dock overlooking a beautiful creek. So many birds on the creek and only 8min from Blackwater Refuge which is birds galore. There are chickens on the property that I grew attached to and will miss. My dog loved exploring the yard and chilling with the chickens. The house was spotless and was very comfortable. Trevor did a great job communicating with us and making our stay easy.

We were very happy with the property and while our dates were "off season" for most folks, it was a great place to come back to after exhibiting all day at the Waterfowl Festival in Easton. The house was larger than we needed, but it was quiet and worked well for the two of us as well as the dogs. We would definitely book here again.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Excellent choice for those looking for a hunting friendly place (the boys could get in their archery practice in the yard & we all could appreciate the decor around the house)! It was a plus for our young baby having the crib and rocking chair available. The rooms and kitchen were spacious. I wish we were able to spend more time outside the house to enjoy the beautiful property with the hammock & dock area. Our daughter especially loved visiting the chickens every morning. Trevor was very prompt in communicating. Looking forward to another future visit!

We loved the proterty! House was set up with pleanty of room for 4 of us. It was clean and comfortable. Out back was very private. Would definitely stay here again. We had a blast!

Trevor’s VRBO was exactly as advertised. My friend and I stayed two nights. We were there to go biking and we were gone all day and out for dinner so we didn’t have time to hang out much. Sadly, no time to enjoy dock and kayaks. If I’d been there longer, it looked very appealing. But the house was clean and comfortable and Trevor had left good information about restaurants and etc. easy check in. I’d recommend.

We had a great time and the property was fantastic. The house was very clean and had all the little things that make staying super easy (laundry pods, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, etc.). It’s very convenient to Cambridge and Blackwater/Fishing Bay and has its own dock. Check in and out was a breeze and the owner is very easygoing. Would absolutely recommend again. We even had some eggs from the chicken coop!

This property was even better than the photos suggest. Private and serene. The kayakers enjoyed the open water. The non-kayakers enjoyed reading and enjoying nature from the Adirondack chairs on the dock. We also enjoyed the porch. The house was clean and modern inside. The fact that there was no ensuite worked best--both bathrooms were accessible to the six of us.

It was a fishing trip. Close to a lot of fishing and we really enjoyed our time on the dock. In the middle of everything and far enough out with a country feel. We will for sure plan another trip.

Soul enriching location. The dock, the fresh eggs, the local GBH, and night sky all contribute. Quick access to Blackwater NWR. The furnishings and kitchen accessories are adequate. The microwave door no longer closes correctly and has to be pushed until the fan stops. None of that matters because of the location.

I loved my recent visit to this property. It was so rejuvenating to be able to just go into the yard and sit on the dock overlooking a beautiful creek. So many birds on the creek and only 8min from Blackwater Refuge which is birds galore. There are chickens on the property that I grew attached to and will miss. My dog loved exploring the yard and chilling with the chickens. The house was spotless and was very comfortable. Trevor did a great job communicating with us and making our stay easy.

Our family loved the couple days we stayed in Woolford. Trevor's place was fantastic - comfortable & clean, and the location was amazing. Gorgeous scenery being right on the water. So glad to have found this place and only regret we weren't able to stay longer!

Comfortable, lots of thought and effort has been put into providing a fun, convenient place to stay with access to water activities (canoeing, kayaking, etc.). Nearby, Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and surrounding area is a wonderful place to visit ,to see and photograph a huge variety of birds, beautiful landscapes. Great dining in nearby Cambridge, as well as other close small towns. Highly recommended.

With the place allowing pets, definitely the cleanest house we’ve ever stayed at! You don’t need anything but clothes and your fury friend! They offer everything! Great food at Woolford Country Store and not even a mile down the road! We rarely left the house, very peaceful and relaxing!!

Trevor’s VRBO was exactly as advertised. My friend and I stayed two nights. We were there to go biking and we were gone all day and out for dinner so we didn’t have time to hang out much. Sadly, no time to enjoy dock and kayaks. If I’d been there longer, it looked very appealing. But the house was clean and comfortable and Trevor had left good information about restaurants and etc. easy check in. I’d recommend.

A perfect escape from city living! Clean property, easy to access kayaks and canoe for wonderful paddling right from the dock and a great fire pit in the yard. So peaceful. The bathrooms were clean and inviting after a day on the water. The kitchen had everything needed to help enjoy a cooked meal of fresh veggies from nearby Emily’s Produce (BIG recommendation!). This is a wonderful property. It is reminiscent of staying in a guest home at the turn of the century. The room was more than spacious and immaculate. The house was very tastefully decorated with antiques and there was a beautiful porch. The pictures do not do it justice. If there were more stars to give we would give them.
