Sunset Home, Luxury Lake Front Apartment

Our family of four could not have been happier with this property. Very well-equipped and modern, with numerous amenities. The train station is just across the street, giving you access to wherever you want to go.

Property was listed in the site. I booked months in advance, paid traveled over seas staying in multiple VRBOs bouncing around. Day off my reservation I had not received any check in info and after I called the host I was told VRBO was under renovation and I shouldn’t have been able to book it. My husband kids and I had to scramble and find another hotel last minute.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exquisite lake front property in Montreux, Switzerland, and it exceeded all my expectations! Nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva, this VRBO property offers unparalleled views of the pristine lake. The house itself is a perfect blend of modern luxury and it is elegantly furnished, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Be aware that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. This wasn't an issue for us, but could be for others as you will need to drag your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The Montreux town center is just a short drive away, offering a wide array of dining and entertainment options.

Just as advertised, great views of the lake with a nice balcony.

Appartement bien placé par rapport au lac Leman à cette nuance près qu’il est collé à une route très bruyante et à des rails de chemin de fer bruyants également. La cuisine est très mal équipée… pour un appartement de luxe il n’y a aucun bol, mug, planche à découper… même pas de maniques pour sortir un plat chaud du four. La douche est certes très belle mais l’eau ne s’évacue pas ce qui conduit à une inondation de toute la sdb et du couloir une fois que toute la famille s’est douchée . Globalement l’appartement est beau , mais le bling bling cache un manque cruel des éléments de base attendus lorsqu’on est en vacances. L’hygiène de base n’est pas assurée , en regardant sous les lits , horreur 😱 ! Par contre, point positif, le château de Chillon est a 2 pas de l’appartement et la terrasse est très belle.
