What a gem! This house is lovely and has the most amazing dock. The view of the sound and islands is gorgeous. Our entire gang had the best time kayaking to sharks tooth island and enjoying the town which is a 2 minute drive away. Our teens could ride their skateboards to town. The kids loved the swim mat and the hot tub was just icing. Thank you -- we will be back!

We stayed at this property for our annual kayak fishing trip in Swansboro and the place out great for us. The large living room separated from the kitchen by a bar was a great place to gather while some of us were cooking up the day's catch. The location was perfect for our needs and offered plenty of parking for our group. Jonathan was very responsive and even checked in with us mid-trip to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely consider renting this property again next year.

What a great property! Looking out on boat dock and seeing daily sunsets. Ground level virtually no Steps!! Leather sectional to chill and watch TV rocks. Separate screened porch and hot tub and fire pit. Awesome king size master suite. Disclaimer does abut main roadway but the road traffic to us was white noise and more than offset by the privacy and views behind the house and pet friendly. Loved our stay and host is extremely responsive.

This was a great house on the water, a short drive to the beach but also direct water access to drop our kayaks in and paddle out to the little islands. The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and toys and games for the kids. What a great relaxing trip!

This property, had everything we needed. Fishing for my husband, and grandkids. Kayaking and paddle boarding. Fire pit for s’mores, and a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. We saw dolphins most of the days we were there. This property was prefect for our vacation.

This was our 2nd trip to this WONDERFUL property! We love staying here!! Our kids loved the toys provided and fishing off the pier was awesome….. caught several interesting fish! We loved using the swim mat, hot tub, and kayaks! This house is perfectly located to easily drive to several destinations in the area! The host makes the entire process so easy and communicates very well!

We take a family trip to the beach every year, but as our family grows, it gets harder and harder to find a place we can afford. This home was perfect! The grown / single kids stayed in the fourth bedroom outside of the house. My husband, myself, our 8 year old, and our oldest with her two children (9 months and 2 years) stayed in the house. There was no need to leave the house. The water was perfect for fun for all ages. They had a ball. We celebrated a first beach trip for the baby and a 21st birthday for one of the older kids. Lots of great memories made. The house was clean and stocked with everything you would need or want. The owners communicated with me through every question I had.

Lived nearby the property a few years back and had a retirement ceremony to attend on base. It was just my dog and I, and it couldn’t have been any better! It was in a great location, clean and spacious, and the next time I have a reason to head back to NC I will definitely hope to stay here again… highly recommended!

Space was overall great. Master suite was exactly what I needed for getting ready for our wedding for all the bridespeople and even held the reception here because the living room was big enough as well as the private driveway which was huge! Property has a private dock which was lovely and even a hot tub. The hose was very responsive and professional. We did run into dirty sheets and an unclean fridge but the host was apologetic and overall was a good experience. Would book with them again.

We were very disappointed! The house shows signs of age and wear. The bathrooms were outdated, and the bedrooms lacked sufficient sound insulation from street noise. Additionally, there was an unpleasant odor of muddy water emanating from outside, and the bedding was in need of replacement.

This house was very spacious for my family!It was in a great location, close to the beach.We loved the boat dock because we fished right off of it. We honestly had more luck there than the pier, but the pier is very close to the house which was great!The place was overall very clean.We ran into some issues with a couple of blankets having stains.We requested replacement and had different ones within an hour which was great.Communication was quick and easy with no issues.One thing of warning is we went during a time it rained a few times.The entrance to the house does not have a cover over the entrance way so when it rains, water goes into the entrance making it a mess all over the floor.Overall we loved this place and would be happy to come back again some time!You will enjoy it!

Wording and photos misleading. This house has three bedrooms with beds. One club house with cheap bunk. We fixed a shower head that fell down on us. Two mattresses deflated on us first night. We bought our own at walmart.Mold in washer that we wouldnt throw rags in. No swing or hammock like in photos. Hot tub backwords so no steps to get in. Dislocated knee entering hot tub. Had to call for support. This house opened our eyes to shaddy houses.Felt foolish making this mistake praying no one else falls for it. Invistigate before you book!! Photos and wording misleading!

This place checked all of our boxes and we enjoyed our stay! The club house was a great place for the kids to unwind and stay-up watching movies and playing games, while the adults conversed in peace inside the house. The dock was great for fishing and swimming and we enjoyed kayaking out about. It is located on a busy street and can be a little loud during the day, but it was quiet at night. The house had many amenities such as games, cooking appliances, utensils, spices, pot and pans, etc. Thanks for a great vacation!

We really enjoyed spending Spring break in this lovely home. The property manager was fantastic and very responsive. My 12 year old son and 10 year old niece spent all their time either enjoying the paddle board and kayak or fishing and crabbing off the dock. My son caught several fish and 3 large stone crabs! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the proximity to a very busy highway but we were not bothered by it once we settled in. Would stay again.

My husband and boys went glamping on the shack on the island across the waterway. This house was perfect for paddling back for supplies and dropping off kids who couldn’t hang the whole time. The house had toys for kids which was a nice surprise. The house did show some wear - but not enough for it to be a problem. The property owner addressed any issues (or potential ones) promptly and was fantastic about communicating. Bring a sound machine bc it is right off the highway and is noticeably loud at night. The hot tub was clean; and the guidelines made me feel safe about using it.

The location is great for going to Swansboro or to the beach and the house is cute. The dock is perfect for fishing. It was a perfect place to celebrate my mom’s birthday with the family. Owners are extremely communicative and helpful. Highway noise can be a lot in the morning, so take earplugs if you’re a late sleeper, but I will definitely be returning.

My wife and I are in the middle of building our dream home, to say we needed a vacation was an understatement! I found myself booking a trip last minute, and of course had to bring my 3 dogs to enjoy it with us! I messaged the property manager, asking if 3 dogs was ok, which he answered a very quick, yes! The property manager’s communication was very prompt! Once we got to our vacation spot, we were met with a secluded, beautiful home on the water! It was more than we could’ve hoped for! Our nights were spent in the hot tub or relaxing by the fire at night! The house is very spacious and well kept! I highly recommend this as your next vacation spot!! You will not be disappointed!

This house was very spacious for my family!It was in a great location, close to the beach.We loved the boat dock because we fished right off of it. We honestly had more luck there than the pier, but the pier is very close to the house which was great!The place was overall very clean.We ran into some issues with a couple of blankets having stains.We requested replacement and had different ones within an hour which was great.Communication was quick and easy with no issues.One thing of warning is we went during a time it rained a few times.The entrance to the house does not have a cover over the entrance way so when it rains, water goes into the entrance making it a mess all over the floor.Overall we loved this place and would be happy to come back again some time!You will enjoy it!

I stayed here for my wedding along with my bridal party. Jonathan communicated with me multiple times leading up to our stay to let us know about flooding issues at the property and was able to arrange an alternate place for us to stay, and stayed in communication with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything went smoothly. I appreciated him going above and beyond and making sure we had everything that we needed. The space was clean, there was ample parking, and we were close to everything that we needed for the weekend.

Great vacation home right on the water. There were only 3 of us but would be great for a larger family. Owner was very responsive to messages and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be adding this property to places to stay when we visit the area again.

This place checked all of our boxes and we enjoyed our stay! The club house was a great place for the kids to unwind and stay-up watching movies and playing games, while the adults conversed in peace inside the house. The dock was great for fishing and swimming and we enjoyed kayaking out about. It is located on a busy street and can be a little loud during the day, but it was quiet at night. The house had many amenities such as games, cooking appliances, utensils, spices, pot and pans, etc. Thanks for a great vacation!

We stayed at this property for our annual kayak fishing trip in Swansboro and the place out great for us. The large living room separated from the kitchen by a bar was a great place to gather while some of us were cooking up the day's catch. The location was perfect for our needs and offered plenty of parking for our group. Jonathan was very responsive and even checked in with us mid-trip to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely consider renting this property again next year.

We had a wonderful weekend trip at this property! The sunset at the dock in the back yard was lovely and the house was a quick drive from the beach. The host was accommodating and quick to respond.

Lived nearby the property a few years back and had a retirement ceremony to attend on base. It was just my dog and I, and it couldn’t have been any better! It was in a great location, clean and spacious, and the next time I have a reason to head back to NC I will definitely hope to stay here again… highly recommended!

We really enjoyed spending Spring break in this lovely home. The property manager was fantastic and very responsive. My 12 year old son and 10 year old niece spent all their time either enjoying the paddle board and kayak or fishing and crabbing off the dock. My son caught several fish and 3 large stone crabs! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the proximity to a very busy highway but we were not bothered by it once we settled in. Would stay again.

My husband and boys went glamping on the shack on the island across the waterway. This house was perfect for paddling back for supplies and dropping off kids who couldn’t hang the whole time. The house had toys for kids which was a nice surprise. The house did show some wear - but not enough for it to be a problem. The property owner addressed any issues (or potential ones) promptly and was fantastic about communicating. Bring a sound machine bc it is right off the highway and is noticeably loud at night. The hot tub was clean; and the guidelines made me feel safe about using it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great with views of the water on both sides of the house. We were very close to activities and restaurants nearby. Hopefully can book a longer stay later.

The location is great for going to Swansboro or to the beach and the house is cute. The dock is perfect for fishing. It was a perfect place to celebrate my mom’s birthday with the family. Owners are extremely communicative and helpful. Highway noise can be a lot in the morning, so take earplugs if you’re a late sleeper, but I will definitely be returning.

If you like to fish, boat and want direct access to the highway then this place is OK but if you care about house maintence, quality furniture and fixtures, cleanliness and road noise then think twice. This is an old property for sure as stated in the listing and the floor is squishy in many places and should be repaired. I'm not going to list all the problems we had but I've addressed them with the host and hope he follows up for the comfort of future guests. He was also responsive to our cleanliness issues and did refund our cleaning fee since we spent much of our first day cleaning and sanitizing.
