Four bed Cotswold holiday cottage - Greenview Cottage

Such a wonderful weekend escape to beautiful Greenview Cottage in Little Barrington. It is truly quintessential English country setting with a perfect cosy cottage set on the green. Greenview Cottage is so homely, kitchen fully equipped with all that is needed, gorgeous living room with log burner - which warmed and brightened us all on a dreary January night, the beds are super comfy- everyone slept so well, wonderful walks straight from the doorstep and to be able to walk to the local pub, The Fox Inn was an added bonus - really recommend this pub too! Food delicious and the setting is beautiful. Such a perfect weekend. We will definitely be back soon! The only comments I would suggest would be the heating was cold on our arrival for a January Friday evening, however, we got the log burner going immediately and this helped. Also the rubbish bins outside could do with better labelling - it was all a great guessing game as to what rubbish went where. Obviously the previous people had the same problem as the food waste bin had bottles in too! However, these niggles are nothing compared to the fabulous stay we had!

Our little family had an amazing week-long stay at Greenview Cottage over Christmas. The property is undeniably stunning - so beautifully upgraded with all the mod-cons, whilst maintaining its olde worlde ambiance and charm. We were very comfortable and warm - being December, it was quite chilly! - and we loved that its location made daytripping around the Cotswolds countryside very easy. The little extras - Christmas tree & breakfast goods - were greatly appreciated, and we would absolutely recommend Greenview Cottage for a truly comfortable, memorable and authentic British cottage stay.

The house was beautiful, cosy, warm, had lovely social spaces and great bedrooms. Good equipment too.
