The house had everything we needed, it was well equipped. It's only one mile from the Metro train station. Lovely neighborhood to take an afternoon walk. Queenie was a lovely host! Great communication, 5 stars!

The cookware was awesome and the little yard was nice. Yard furniture was too rickety and not enough. Bathtub was slow to drain and shower curtain and rod needs replaced.

Nice and comfortable place to stay with two little kids during our trip to DC for a conference. Swingset was fun for kids and neighborhood very safe to walk around in. Would stay again.

The house is perfect as a base for exploring DC and Northern Virginia. A safe and friendly neighborhood, the park and ride parking lot is a short drive [East Falls Church] with the orange and silver lines taking you to all the top attractions. A modern, well equipped kitchen, good size bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of towels in the bathroom. We would book again.

We are actually from Arlington and needed a couple place to stay for the first week of a bathroom renovation. We luckily found this place, which was the way to our daughter’s school. The neighborhood is one of the best - quiet, safe, upscale, and near supermarkets & metro. House is nothing special from outside, but is well maintained and very clean on inside. Huge tv, nice picture window, nice bedrooms with cell charger, books, extra blankets. Kitchen is stocked with essentials - spices, coffee, tea, lots of pots/pans. There even is a first aid kit in the bathroom. Would stay here again if our renovations get delated.

The house is exactly as pictured. Provided ample room for my family of four. Very clean upon arrival. Lovely quiet neighborhood with restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance and felt safe walking to them. Plenty of towels for everyone and very comfortable beds. The house exterior itself might not be as “fancy” as other houses in the area but the inside is clean and efficient and comfortable. I visited other family members in in a pricier rental in Alexandria and felt like we had the better deal even though they paid quite a bit more because I wouldn’t consider their neighborhood safe to go out after dark. I was very happy to return to Queenie’s house and enjoy the serenity it provided. Highly recommend would love to return some day. My family and I were there to burry a relative in Arlington National Cemetery and the location was convenient for that. It was a twenty minute drive in moderate traffic. We didn’t do any site seeing so I cannot say weather or not it’s convenient for other sites but it seems like it would be convenient for capitol and memorial visits as well.

Property as advertised. Very clean. No issues with house. This property was a little further away from DC and Reagan airport than I expected . Uber costs were higher than expected. Mainly due to excessive traffic and surge pricing. Excellent safe neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of towels. Washer and Dryer with laundry detergent. Would stay again considering the price.

Excellent DC area locale without the hustle and hassle of downtown DC. The residential neighborhood is quiet, but supermarkets and eateries are as close as a half mile away. Nice local walks within about the same distance include a quiet park and Minor's Hill, the highest point in Arlington County, which is not a big deal but surprised this former county resident. With no car, we found the app rides more than adequate. House description was right on, and the host came over promptly with an additional item that we required. And vital for an August DC stay, we found the A/C, shower and washer/dryer superb.

The location was excellent.Cleanliness excellent.Bed linens and setup of the 3 bedroom excellent.The shower was where it fell down. 2nd day shower was used only to find out that it meant showering in raising water (ankle deep before a 5 minute shower was completed). Called host, she knew it was an issue, sent someone over, punger/drano did not work. best solution was local rec center (11/person). Too bad, because everything else was excellent - just no one was happy to shower at the house.

We had a couple of issues occur, the cleaning lady came back in after we were checked in which was weird to us because we were not there and are stuff was. Our bedsheets werent clean other peoples hair was found in 2 of the 3 beds as well as some ants and crumbs. there was a playset out back but the grass was very high so it wouldnt exactly be great for kids to play on when you cant see whats in the yard. overall for us, it was a great location out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that you can go back and forth from DC pretty quickly. The house worked well for all 6 of us and has a well stocked kitchen to be able to cook and have the utensils needed. The owner was nice when i reported these things to her and I would still recommend staying here. I would again.

The house was clean and uncluttered. The yard could definitely use some care, and the interior could stand to be updated. The curb appeal was not great because of long grass, weeds, and a camper parked on the street in front of the house. However, everything was clean and usable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet, and the location was perfect. We could easily walk to the bus stop and take it to the Metro.

Property is in a nice location but this property is not maintained. Lawn and landscaping overgrown. Almost stepped in dog poop on lawn adjacent to driveway. House reeked of smoke, multiple ant traps in kitchen and bedroom. Active ants in bathroom and bedroom. Tried to contact host with no response- we left after 1hr. Had to make last minute reservation in hotel. One positive outcome was a VRBO representative reached out to us and refunded our payment.

Terrific house in a beautiful neighborhood in north Arlington. We loved walking daily. Grocery stores and restaurants very close and easy to get to all the DC attractions. New windows in this older home meant it was super quiet at night. Well equipped kitchen made family meal prep easy. Appreciated our responsive host.

This house was in a beautiful neighborhood close to grocery stores and parks for our 2 year old son. The host took care of any questions and concerns we had in a manner. I would stay again with my family.

Our bedsheets werent clean other peoples hair was found in 2 of the 3 beds as well as some ants and crumbs. there was a playset out back but the grass was very high so it wouldnt exactly be great for kids to play on when you cant see whats in the yard. overall for us, it was a great location out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that you can go back and forth from DC pretty quickly. The house worked well for all 6 of us and has a well stocked kitchen to be able to cook and have the utensils needed. The owner was nice when i reported these things to her and I would still recommend staying here. I would again.
We had a couple of issues occur, the cleaning lady came back in after we were checked in which was weird to us because we were not there and are stuff was. Queenie is one of the most responsive hosts I have ever seen on vrbo. If you have any questions or need anything she will respond in minute. I am not exaggerating. The refrigerator broke at the rental and she was on vacation in Mexico. I messaged her on vrbo at 5am ET and she replied in minutes. The fridge was replaced after a day and she refunded our lost groceries. Our family stayed there about 6 weeks while our home in Washington was being renovated. Queenie's home was the perfect place for our little family. Our daughter (2 yo) was home all day with our nanny and the house was perfectly set up for them. They also loved walking the beautiful neighborhood and loved that were lots of schools and parks near by. I worked from home in the 3rd bedroom and really appreciated the ultra fast wifi. It is worth mentioning that this home is in a fantastic neighborhood which really made our stay enjoyable. You can walk forever in any direction. There are lots of stores, restaurants, and groceries options just blocks from your front door. My husband commuted daily to our home in Washington and the drive was exceptionally easy (by DC standards). We also appreciated that she had very comfortable beds. I highly recommend Queenie and would definitely rent again if we ever do another reno (ahhh) or have family in town :) One note is it would have been nice if there was a broom or vacuum. We just brought ours from home

Excellent DC area locale without the hustle and hassle of downtown DC. The residential neighborhood is quiet, but supermarkets and eateries are as close as a half mile away. Nice local walks within about the same distance include a quiet park and Minor's Hill, the highest point in Arlington County, which is not a big deal but surprised this former county resident. With no car, we found the app rides more than adequate. House description was right on, and the host came over promptly with an additional item that we required. And vital for an August DC stay, we found the A/C, shower and washer/dryer superb.

Property is in a nice location but this property is not maintained. Lawn and landscaping overgrown. Almost stepped in dog poop on lawn adjacent to driveway. House reeked of smoke, multiple ant traps in kitchen and bedroom. Active ants in bathroom and bedroom. Tried to contact host with no response- we left after 1hr. Had to make last minute reservation in hotel. One positive outcome was a VRBO representative reached out to us and refunded our payment.

Terrific house in a beautiful neighborhood in north Arlington. We loved walking daily. Grocery stores and restaurants very close and easy to get to all the DC attractions. New windows in this older home meant it was super quiet at night. Well equipped kitchen made family meal prep easy. Appreciated our responsive host.

We came to check out the sites and explore Arlington and Washington. This place was great! Everything was exactly as listed and the property was comfortable and reasonably close to all we wanted to see. Hope to stay here again!

The house is perfect as a base for exploring DC and Northern Virginia. A safe and friendly neighborhood, the park and ride parking lot is a short drive [East Falls Church] with the orange and silver lines taking you to all the top attractions. A modern, well equipped kitchen, good size bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of towels in the bathroom. We would book again.

We are actually from Arlington and needed a couple place to stay for the first week of a bathroom renovation. We luckily found this place, which was the way to our daughter’s school. The neighborhood is one of the best - quiet, safe, upscale, and near supermarkets & metro. House is nothing special from outside, but is well maintained and very clean on inside. Huge tv, nice picture window, nice bedrooms with cell charger, books, extra blankets. Kitchen is stocked with essentials - spices, coffee, tea, lots of pots/pans. There even is a first aid kit in the bathroom. Would stay here again if our renovations get delated.

Property as advertised. Very clean. No issues with house. This property was a little further away from DC and Reagan airport than I expected . Uber costs were higher than expected. Mainly due to excessive traffic and surge pricing. Excellent safe neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of towels. Washer and Dryer with laundry detergent. Would stay again considering the price.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property in Arlington. The house was very clean and the owners left clear instructions for check-in, wifi, house rules, etc.It's located in a beautiful neighborhood and was very convenient to Washington D.C.

We loved this cute home. So very clean, all the necessities you could want and a perfect place for us to stay while our Arlington home was on the market. We were even able to bring our cats who needed a home during our showings and open house. Highly recommend - our cats even loved the cozy home.

We were rather disappointed with the property. There were numerous maintenance issues, and the hosts didn't reply to either of the messages we sent reporting them. Here are those issues: -The code for the house door didn't work on the driveway side, only on the front side. -The shower drain is either severely clogged or too small, and water backs up so that you are standing in ankle-deep water while showering.-The toilet seat lid is completely broken and separated from the seat - The bathroom sink cabinet is peeling and separating in numerous places.- The shower light flickers nonstop and is not usable.-The light switch in 1 bedroom didn't work, nor did the bedside lamp.-The refrigerator light is out- The kitchen counter/drawer laminate is peeling off and broken in many areas. - The kitchen ceiling light is broken.- The kitchen flooring and all doors have numerous scratches, peeling paint, and the like.-The yard is not actually fully fenced- A large section of the wood fence has a large panel falling over into the neighbor’s yard- The backyard table and chairs in the picture are extremely old, dirty, broken, and unusable. There is no other lawn furniture or place to sit.- The backyard gate to the driveway is broken and doesnot fully close. I do not mind a home that is older and therefore shows wear and tear, but this home goes beyond that and is in need of some basic maintenance. Shame because it's a great location.
