Quick getaway to fish and relax. Very clean, well stocked, private cabin. In the middle of the city but you'd never know it. Comfortable beds, lots of extras. So glad we stayed. Record player is a really nice touch.

The bait shack was peaceful and quite. Lake to fish on was nice. The shack had stocked essentials if we forgot something. The wifi was easy to connect. The hosts were very easy to talk to and nice. We would stay there again.

This place was nothing but beautiful views and peacefulness.. that is it I cannot wait to book it again the pics are accurate bed is very comfortable.. I played some old school music on the record player, shot some basketball on the court, an relaxed by the lake and went fishing.. you will not regret getting this place..

Was as described. Nice surprise of snack and some items left in fridge for guest. We did fish late in the evening and caught a couple. Would have been nice if the bank around the water was cleared off more. We did see 2 deers roaming the yard. We are planning on a return visit.

The cabin was awesome, and just as described in the listing. There were plenty of towels and washcloths, dishes, and coffee. The tennis court was a bit unkept, and the edges of the lake were grown up. But that didn't keep us from fishing. The owners were very friendly when the kids met them in the yard. Would definitely recommend!

The Bait Shack was an exactly what we were looking for. The quaint cabin was nestled in the heart of town, but hidden by a thicket of trees and boasted a lake side view. Food and recreation were only minutes away, but the ambiance of the property was that of seclusion and serenity. The simplicity of its charm adds to its allure. Would definitely recommend for your next trip if you intend on visiting the area!

We came up from Tampa Fl to see Sturgil Simpson in concert in Duluth Ga and stayed 4 nights. Place was very peaceful and quiet. Nice lake and couldn't have asked for better weather. Would definitely go back again.

This place was perfect! Hidden away but close to everything. The cabin itself was a pleasant experience. Thry had everything you could need and more, They even had fixing poles! The host was very responsive. We will stay again when we go that way.

This fishing cabin is so serene and cozy. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kiddos. Very clean and the little extras were nice. There are fishing poles (we bought and left a kids pole) for some family fishing. My grandson was so happy to have caught fish. There is a nice play are for the kids and even a record player which my husband enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was packed and organized that anything you would want to do was right there within reach. Multiple fully furnished living rooms so everyone can do their own thing. Entire place was clean and organized. I'm planning my next year vacations now and this place is on my list of possibilities to visit again.

Wonderful stay at this property, very charming and comfortable. Everything listed about this property is very accurate. No deceiving picture angles or misleading information. The cabin is in a neighborhood but is tucked away nicely to give you a little privacy, it is right on the lake. (the first time you find the driveway can be a little tricky, particularly at night). It was cold and rainy during our stay so we couldn't enjoy the lake, but it still made some nice scenery when you looked out the window. Everything was very clean and neat; there was coffee and snacks, and everything you need in the kitchen to cook a few meals. I found a small crockpot and made some fantastic vegetable soup since the weather was less than ideal. (low to mid 40's with rain) I was a little apprehensive when I realized we had to heat with space heaters, but they were more than adequate and it was quite cozy. (I made sure to turn them off before bed, stayed comfortably warm all night) Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby that are within just a few minutes of the property. The only negative I can possibly think of is the lighting is a little dim for my taste, but it's not a huge concern. I will definitely try to stay here again if I'm in the area. Loved it!

Everything was just as it was pictured on the website. I’m a clean freak and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin upon arrival. The cabin was stocked well with K-cups for morning coffee, a snack basket was a nice surprise, we had plenty of linens and toiletries there was a great album collection I enjoyed going through and a phonograph available to spin vinyl. Books, board games and cards were available. The table and chairs on the porch were perfect for morning toast and coffee. It was a very tranquil and relaxing getaway which was much needed. Courtney was fantastic at communicating all the information we needed prior to arrival. The cabin was even decorated for Christmas which was just an added plus. LOVE the Mickey and Minnie lighted snow globe.

Books, board games and cards were available. The table and chairs on the porch were perfect for morning toast and coffee. It was a very tranquil and relaxing getaway which was much needed. Courtney was fantastic at communicating all the information we needed prior to arrival. The cabin was even decorated for Christmas which was just an added plus. LOVE the Mickey and Minnie lighted snow globe.

We can't thank the hosts enough for working with us on our trip schedule as we were recovering from Milton. Property was quiet, clean and cozy--easy access to Atlanta and other tourist spots. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We had a truly amazing vacation! Being able to finish the day by coming back to this cozy little place made the whole trip so much more wonderful!! The beds are soft and the couches are comfortable! Our host was kind and helpful and we got to meet one of their amazing dogs! We had the best time!

Staying at this cabin is everything we could ever want. This is the dream for us. Just simple living at its finest. It gave us the perfect opportunity to unwind and just spend time as a family (as well as hike Stone Mountain). 1000/10 and are already thinking about going back! Plus I had to peek at what mattress we slept on because I definitely need one for my house!!

My heart cried coming, and it cried leaving, all for different reasons. My mom said this is her vacation cabin she love her stay here. I loved that this property was exactly what the site described. You have a private driveway, there are trees all around, the porch was amazing this space was medicine for my soul. The bed was comfortable, there was creamer for the coffee, a record player with lots of records to listen to. The bed was super comfortable, mom now want to buy a fireplace like the one we had while staying here. There was hooks for fishing, and the needed accessories to play tennis, basketball,barbecue, and the water got hot. This was our first trip since dad passed away which is why I was crying coming. The location is close to everything you could need, while giving you the lost in the woods feel. The directions that were given was excellent. Allow yourself to have this experience, the reason for my tears leaving is the joy was rolling down my cheeks. I connected even with dad a few times on my stay here. I promised him to always be his flower and to bloom. This place is magical thank you from my whole heart for sharing it with those who choose to stay.

This place was perfect! Hidden away but close to everything. The cabin itself was a pleasant experience. Thry had everything you could need and more, They even had fixing poles! The host was very responsive. We will stay again when we go that way.

The cabin is cute and quaint and we had a relaxing stay. Very comfortable beds and everything one needs is there. The host responded immediately to all messages. Well worth it.

We can't thank the hosts enough for working with us on our trip schedule as we were recovering from Milton. Property was quiet, clean and cozy--easy access to Atlanta and other tourist spots. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Quick getaway to fish and relax. Very clean, well stocked, private cabin. In the middle of the city but you'd never know it. Comfortable beds, lots of extras. So glad we stayed. Record player is a really nice touch.

The Bait Shack was an exactly what we were looking for. The quaint cabin was nestled in the heart of town, but hidden by a thicket of trees and boasted a lake side view. Food and recreation were only minutes away, but the ambiance of the property was that of seclusion and serenity. The simplicity of its charm adds to its allure. Would definitely recommend for your next trip if you intend on visiting the area!

We came up from Tampa Fl to see Sturgil Simpson in concert in Duluth Ga and stayed 4 nights. Place was very peaceful and quiet. Nice lake and couldn't have asked for better weather. Would definitely go back again.

We chose this cabin for our son's birthday weekend. It was quiet and you were minutes from town, but felt very private. Less than 45 minutes away from the Georgia Aquarium.

Was as described. Nice surprise of snack and some items left in fridge for guest. We did fish late in the evening and caught a couple. Would have been nice if the bank around the water was cleared off more. We did see 2 deers roaming the yard. We are planning on a return visit.

Wonderful stay at this property, very charming and comfortable. Everything listed about this property is very accurate. No deceiving picture angles or misleading information. The cabin is in a neighborhood but is tucked away nicely to give you a little privacy, it is right on the lake. (the first time you find the driveway can be a little tricky, particularly at night). It was cold and rainy during our stay so we couldn't enjoy the lake, but it still made some nice scenery when you looked out the window. Everything was very clean and neat; there was coffee and snacks, and everything you need in the kitchen to cook a few meals. I found a small crockpot and made some fantastic vegetable soup since the weather was less than ideal. (low to mid 40's with rain) I was a little apprehensive when I realized we had to heat with space heaters, but they were more than adequate and it was quite cozy. (I made sure to turn them off before bed, stayed comfortably warm all night) Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby that are within just a few minutes of the property. The only negative I can possibly think of is the lighting is a little dim for my taste, but it's not a huge concern. I will definitely try to stay here again if I'm in the area. Loved it!

The cabin was awesome, and just as described in the listing. There were plenty of towels and washcloths, dishes, and coffee. The tennis court was a bit unkept, and the edges of the lake were grown up. But that didn't keep us from fishing. The owners were very friendly when the kids met them in the yard. Would definitely recommend!

Loved staying at the bait shack by the lake. It was quaint and perfect for my stay. It was well equipped with needs that you may have over looked when you left home. I was hungry when I got in late my first night but there were some light snacks that saved the day. I’d stay here again without question.

Everything was just as it was pictured on the website. I’m a clean freak and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin upon arrival. The cabin was stocked well with K-cups for morning coffee, a snack basket was a nice surprise, we had plenty of linens and toiletries there was a great album collection I enjoyed going through and a phonograph available to spin vinyl. Books, board games and cards were available. The table and chairs on the porch were perfect for morning toast and coffee. It was a very tranquil and relaxing getaway which was much needed. Courtney was fantastic at communicating all the information we needed prior to arrival. The cabin was even decorated for Christmas which was just an added plus. LOVE the Mickey and Minnie lighted snow globe.

My heart cried coming, and it cried leaving, all for different reasons. My mom said this is her vacation cabin she love her stay here. I loved that this property was exactly what the site described. You have a private driveway, there are trees all around, the porch was amazing this space was medicine for my soul. The bed was comfortable, there was creamer for the coffee, a record player with lots of records to listen to. The bed was super comfortable, mom now want to buy a fireplace like the one we had while staying here. There was hooks for fishing, and the needed accessories to play tennis, basketball,barbecue, and the water got hot. This was our first trip since dad passed away which is why I was crying coming. The location is close to everything you could need, while giving you the lost in the woods feel. The directions that were given was excellent. Allow yourself to have this experience, the reason for my tears leaving is the joy was rolling down my cheeks. I connected even with dad a few times on my stay here. I promised him to always be his flower and to bloom. This place is magical thank you from my whole heart for sharing it with those who choose to stay.

I would just like to say that this was way better than we expected!!!! We had the best time at this little cabin! It is so amazing to me that it is so quaint, quiet and peaceful yet only minutes from downtown Atlanta. We were able to eat out at very good restaurants in the area. We went to the Georgia aquarium. And we enjoyed the canoe tremendously. We caught probably 35 fish total in 3 days. It was just a wonderful getaway!!!! And the hostess is absolutely incredible. She was very communicative and provided everything that we needed. I just love how quaint it is and it was so incredibly clean. Thank you again, Courtney, for sharing your place. We absolutely had an amazing spring break!!!

We enjoyed the ambience and the cabin feel of the Baitshack. We loved the listening and dancing to the record player. Also, the space heater was fantastic on one of the cold nights! 10/10 would recommend.

We had a truly amazing vacation! Being able to finish the day by coming back to this cozy little place made the whole trip so much more wonderful!! The beds are soft and the couches are comfortable! Our host was kind and helpful and we got to meet one of their amazing dogs! We had the best time!
