Beautiful house and location. The photos don't do it justice; the view was even better than we expected. Loved that it's walking distance to the beach. And the fenced yard for our dog was one of the reasons we chose the house. A couple of things that might make it even better would be a king bed and a bigger/softer couch. We're average size people and the couch was pretty narrow. Overall, it was a great stay!

The house is new, tasteful, great floor plan. The view from the deck is stunning, perfect place to share a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Walk to the beach, quiet small town with no traffic or crowds.

The property was beautiful and clean. The views were amazing. The beds and linens were comfortable and the included amenities like coffee pods was a huge plus. The hill to climb back up to the cottage is no joke, especially with little kids and the stairs leading to the beach from the cottage are a little sketchy too. Overall had a lovely stay and look forward to coming back again.

Our family of five and our two dogs enjoyed our stay at the Seaview Cottage. The views are expansive from all common areas and each of the bedrooms. There’s such enjoyment in watching the ever changing skies and ocean. The place is well stocked and thoughtfully organized. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace “woodstove” which kept us cozy in blustery weather. Seaview Cottage is located on a short dead end road so there is minimal traffic. If the stairs from the backyard prove to be too difficult for any in your party, the beach access is still quick and fairly easy by walking back out to the main highway (Cape Meares Loop) for one block and then cutting back into the quieter streets leading to Oceanside Beach State Park. Easy enough to repeat multiple times daily. We highly recommend Seaview Cottage for a relaxing getaway.

What a nice beach house! The house was very functional for our group - one family upstairs with their infant and one family downstairs with dogs.The property had a fenced yard perfect for the dogs and an outdoor shower to get the sand off from the beach. They also provided a baby bath and pack-and-play, which was nice for the baby. The kitchen was very functional and we enjoyed cooking each night. We slept with the windows open so we could hear the waves and enjoy the cool breeze. The walk to the beach was pretty easy, but downhill. Tillamook was a short drive away and had all the amenities you need on your vacation. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was great! The two levels worked well for two couples giving us our space to relax and sleep. We loved sitting in the adirondack chairs on the balcony enjoying the ocean views and beautiful sunsets. Happy we chose Seaview Retreat.

Likely the best VRBO home we've stayed at. Impressively clean and communication with owner was outstanding. The walk down to the oceanside was easily managed. Those with gait difficulty may find the stairs a bit challenging and the walk back up difficult. However, the oceanside is easily accessible by car and close by. The views from the deck were spectacular and there was plenty of options for seating. The home had everything that you could want. There were only two of us; however, it could very easily accommodate families with children. The bunkroom would be a favorite spot for children with the adjoining family room. We had plans to visit both Seaside and Cannon Beach as well as Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport. This home sits central to these areas and made for an easy 1.5hr drive either North or South.of Oceanside. This home made for an incredible first trip to the Oregon Coast. My thanks to the hosts.

Seaview Cottage is a dream vacation. The property is well thought out and has everything you need for an extremely enjoyable stay. The view is beautiful and the deck is an extension of the house. We spent every morning watching the waves and every evening looking at the stars. Kitchen is well equipped, plenty of seating and in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. Loved the turquoise toaster oven!

The house is brand new and done so well. It was also very clean and communication with the owners was excellent. It has a deck overlooking the town and ocean. Quick walk down to the beach. They even have coffee for your stay. We will stay here again! Oceanside is a beautiful place to stay. Next time we will stop and get groceries and cook in the home.

We had a wonderful stay in this home. We have rented a lot of homes and this was by far our favorite. It was VERY clean! The beds were very comfortable. The beach decorations were beautiful and made the home inviting. The view was incredible and listening to the ocean is so peaceful. We were sad to leave but hope to be able to come back again.

This was our first time staying at this property and we were impressed! Check-in and check-out were easy. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous. One of the best beach houses we've ever rented.

Very clean and brand new! Seaview Cottage was one of our best family beach times. The cottage is all new and provides everything a family will need to have a cozy stay and beach adventures. The beds are new and comfortable. With three bedrooms, a downstairs play area for the kids, and a big open kitchen living/dining area upstairs, the 7 of us had plenty of room to enjoy our stay. We used the games and puzzles provided. The owners have tastefully decorated the beach themed cottage with turquoise as an accent color from pillows to the handy toaster oven in the kitchen. All the towels and bed linens were plentiful, clean and new. You will find everything you will need in the well-stocked kitchen, and a table big enough for a family to all eat together or play games. The washer and dryer were another plus. You can enjoy the outstanding ocean view from the upstairs deck while the kids play in the flat, grassy yard. It’s a short walk to the sandy beach. The kids had a great time going through the tunnel under Maxwell Point. We did take a head lamp or two to make it easier to see in the dark. Janel was a pleasure to work with and gave us all sorts of helpful information about the house and the area. According to the 3 and 4 year old, the house was the best ever! We agree.

We absolutely loved the Seaview Cottage. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. It was well stocked, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was extremely responsive, too. The location was perfect and it was just what we wanted for our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay - the view is unparalleled from the kitchen, deck and main floor living area. The layout is conducive to seeing the ocean whether you are cooking or relaxing, which was nice for the older members of our party. The unit was clean, modern and a short walk from the beach. Janel was very responsive and helpful. Our only wish was that the single wall unit AC were stronger; we happened to be there during the heat wave and it was over 85 inside, with the AC output barely cold. But I am pretty sure that was an anomalous weather situation for the coast. Overall we highly recommend.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at the Seaview Cottage. It was clean, well appointed and cozy. It was hard to get comfortable on the couch with all 5 of us but we managed. Everything was well laid out and communicated well. Really enjoyed our time and the views here.

This is a beautifully appointed home in a convenient location with a great view. It was great for 2 couples as there is a lovely living area upstairs with a nice kitchen and great deck The downstairs has a separate living space that opens to a yard and deck. Was great for our friends with a dog. The third bedroom would be great for my grsndkids . So my daughter and her 2 kids could be down stairs for example I will be back for sure And the place has a great history

We really enjoyed our time at this wonderful location. There is a great view of the beach and an easy walk to enjoy the water. The house was well stocked and was very comfortable for our family of five. Will definitely be coming back!
We really enjoyed our time at this wonderful location. There is a great view of the beach and an easy walk to enjoy the water. The house was well stocked and was very comfortable for our family of five. Will definitely be coming back!

We absolutely loved the Seaview Cottage. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. It was well stocked, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was extremely responsive, too. The location was perfect and it was just what we wanted for our stay.

The house is brand new and done so well. It was also very clean and communication with the owners was excellent. It has a deck overlooking the town and ocean. Quick walk down to the beach. They even have coffee for your stay. We will stay here again! Oceanside is a beautiful place to stay. Next time we will stop and get groceries and cook in the home.

We really enjoyed our stay - the view is unparalleled from the kitchen, deck and main floor living area. The layout is conducive to seeing the ocean whether you are cooking or relaxing, which was nice for the older members of our party. The unit was clean, modern and a short walk from the beach. Janel was very responsive and helpful. Our only wish was that the single wall unit AC were stronger; we happened to be there during the heat wave and it was over 85 inside, with the AC output barely cold. But I am pretty sure that was an anomalous weather situation for the coast. Overall we highly recommend.

This was our first time staying at this property and we were impressed! Check-in and check-out were easy. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous. One of the best beach houses we've ever rented.

Very clean and brand new! Seaview Cottage was one of our best family beach times. The cottage is all new and provides everything a family will need to have a cozy stay and beach adventures. The beds are new and comfortable. With three bedrooms, a downstairs play area for the kids, and a big open kitchen living/dining area upstairs, the 7 of us had plenty of room to enjoy our stay. We used the games and puzzles provided. The owners have tastefully decorated the beach themed cottage with turquoise as an accent color from pillows to the handy toaster oven in the kitchen. All the towels and bed linens were plentiful, clean and new. You will find everything you will need in the well-stocked kitchen, and a table big enough for a family to all eat together or play games. The washer and dryer were another plus. You can enjoy the outstanding ocean view from the upstairs deck while the kids play in the flat, grassy yard. It’s a short walk to the sandy beach. The kids had a great time going through the tunnel under Maxwell Point. We did take a head lamp or two to make it easier to see in the dark. Janel was a pleasure to work with and gave us all sorts of helpful information about the house and the area. According to the 3 and 4 year old, the house was the best ever! We agree.

The views from the deck were spectacular and there was plenty of options for seating. The home had everything that you could want. There were only two of us; however, it could very easily accommodate families with children. The bunkroom would be a favorite spot for children with the adjoining family room. We had plans to visit both Seaside and Cannon Beach as well as Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport. This home sits central to these areas and made for an easy 1.5hr drive either North or South.of Oceanside. This home made for an incredible first trip to the Oregon Coast. My thanks to the hosts.

Beautiful house and location. The photos don't do it justice; the view was even better than we expected. Loved that it's walking distance to the beach. And the fenced yard for our dog was one of the reasons we chose the house. A couple of things that might make it even better would be a king bed and a bigger/softer couch. We're average size people and the couch was pretty narrow. Overall, it was a great stay!

When you drive into town, Oceanside has the charm of a Mediterranean village with all the homes up the cliff side. This home was lovely! Impeccably clean with a great kitchen, and a view for miles! It was a bit warm inside upon arrival, but cracking all the windows and letting in the ocean breeze made all the difference. The two levels made great separate spaces for myself and husband, and my daughter and her friend. Games and puzzles galore. The walk to the beach was quick and easy to navigate, just a little steep coming back up. We loved that it was dog friendly and came with a fenced yard. Would definitely stay here again!

My family (parents, husband, daughter and 2 dogs) had a great stay. Close access to the beach, beautiful view, and very functional home. Although Oceanside itself doesn’t have a lot to do, you’re a short drive to nearby cities. The lighthouse was fantastic! Thank you for a great stay.

Selfishly, I would like to keep this place our little secret. Seaview Cottage is our favorite place to stay in Oceanside. We've made some of our best memories on the coast here. The house has everything you could need and then a few extra special thoughtful touches. We will be back soon!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Oceanside rental with our 3 dogs. Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation. Loved the fireplace and large decks facing the water. We would definitely stay again!
