Beach House 5 with Hot Tub

Loved it. Great view, great property.

Wir waren nur für 2 Nächte dort.Währenddessen war alles top. Uns wurde ein größeres Haus als gebucht gegeben. Es wäre wohl der Whirlpool im eigentlichen Haus defekt. Das größere Haus ist ziemlich analog. Hat eigentlich nur ein Schlafzimmer mehr.Die Schlafzimmer waren gemütlich und fast jedes Schlafzimmer hatte ein eigenes Badezimmer und es gab noch ein Gäste-WC. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Es hatte nur etwas Öl zum anbraten "gefehlt". Salz und Pfeffer waren vor Ort. Es war schön gemeinsam zu kochen/essen und den Abend im warmen Whirlpool ausklingen zu lassen.

While the location along the water is beautiful, and the house is large with adequate bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group, the communication with the property manager of a problems arises is absolutely awful. The listing boasts of a hot tub, big and bold in the description. We arrived and the water was cold. The next morning a maintenance person came by. He asked if we would be gone for the entire day as it would need to be drained, fixed and filled up again. Our plan was to go out for a quick hike but we decided to stay out for lunch and walk around Ft William. We returned to the property with no hot water. Desperate for showers we went down to the office twice. Finally a maintenance person showed up at the house. He turned on a bunch of switches, turned the heat way up, told us he didn’t understand why it wasn’t working. He left without telling us how it would be resolved. A few minutes later we received a message from the manager telling us there was a fault with the hot water and they would return at 9:30am the next morning, out check out day. They offered an extra hour in the property beyond check out time as an apology. I messaged back that it wasn’t acceptable, we needed to shower. No response was ever given. We ended up skipping dinner because we were waiting so long for this to be fixed and then couldn’t shower. We left annoyed and disgusting with no showers for 2 days. The manager simply does not reply to messages. Be warned, book somewhere else!

Myself and a friend escaped busy Edinburgh out here for the peace, quiet and of course the views. So much to see out here. From the beach house to the ride around to the nearby towns. The views are gorgeous. Makes you want to just stay .
