We have stayed at this property every summer for three years, and we plan on coming back again. This home is located in a great little cove near South Cove Park. It's easy to put your boat in at South Cove and dock it at the house. The cove is quite, deep and easy to access. The home has a gentle sloping yard which makes it an easy walk from the house to the water. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. It's very clean and in a great neighborhood. It's also close to the movie theaters and the grocery store, but we spend almost all of our time at the house and at the dock. Our boys love swimming and fishing off the dock. This week we caught several brim, a few channel catfish and a bass right off the dock. If we ever have a question for the owners, they are just a text away and very responsive. We'll be back!

We stayed at this property for a week and had a wonderful experience. The house sits close to the lake and is on a flat lot which allows for beautiful lake views from the den, screened-in porch and deck. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with necessary appliances/gadgets. The property has fun toys to enjoy in the water - noodles, googles, kayaks, floats. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had no issue docking it there. The house is in a cove with many other houses but there wasn’t too much boat traffic, making it easy to enjoy swimming across the cove or just floating. (note, we were there Monday through Saturday. The cove may be busier on the weekend) The homeowners were wonderful about communication and responded quickly to our questions. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy Lake Keowee.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful time at Lake Keowee! This home was the perfect size for us. It had everything we needed for a week on the lake. The dock is easily accessible from the house, located in a quite and deep cove. We all loved swimming, fishing and canoeing off the dock. We also rented a boat and were allowed to dock the boat at house. We were able to take a short boat ride to the Lighthouse Restaurant. We were also very close to South Cove and Lake Keowee Marina. We had a great time. If we go back to Lake Keowee next summer, we'll definitely book this house again. The owners were so nice and accommodating, and very responsive!! Highly recommend!!

Lee and Amanda have a beautiful home on the lake. This was our third stay and each time it gets better! The little touches they add each your, not to mention the amazing new deck last year, make it the perfect spot for our family. Can’t say how wonderful this home is and how gracious Lee and Amanda are as hosts. Don’t miss this one folks!

Having access to the garage entry was perfoect for us with one son in a wheelchair. The house was immacuately clean and very cozily decorated. Our 17 year old son and his friend loved their upstairs 'hangout' and sleeping space. The house sits near the end of a cove on the lake, making it perfect for safe swimming, kayaking and noise free relaxation on the dock. Amanda and Lee really have a gem here at Sheltered Shores and our family will definitely be back! Thank you Amanda and Lee for everything, we were very blessed by our stay in your home. As a family we have been renting houses on Lake Keowee for many years now. This is our favorite so far! The location is ideal and the house has plenty of room for the kids and adults. The lot is nice and flat which makes it great for the kids and hauling things back and forth from the dock. The AC was cold and the water pressure was great. We’ve stayed at other places where neither was the case and this was a nice change. The owners left a nice welcoming note and treat for us at check in and they were very easy to communicate with. It’s a quiet neighborhood which is what we like. I wouldn’t stay here if you were planning on throwing a big block party. It’s more of a quiet family atmosphere which was perfect for us. The kayaks were a great added bonus for the kids to play with and the swimming off the dock is great. The water is deep and clean so it’s nice to swim there. There’s also plenty of room for my boat to keep there. We did have a minor issue with a doorknob breaking but the owners were very responsive and Lee was there the next day fixing it. Overall it was perfect for our yearly family vacation to the lake. We most likely will be returning next year. It’s refreshing to see VRBO owners take such pride in taking care of the property and people who stay there.

The house was everything I imagined from the VRBO listing. Lake front lawn is perfect to get sun and shade, level and has the ramp into the water. There is also a dock that we used for fishing and swimming. The house was very clean and comfortable. Nice large living space and a large screened porch. Thank you!

We were there to fish a tournament. We had 6 adults 5 vehicles and three bass boats. We had plenty of room for parking. House was clean and exactly as described. House was clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again! Owner was great for communication. 10 out of 10

Our family absolutely loved our stay at this house. House was well stocked and furnished, and very clean. We enjoyed the covered porch at night to be outside without getting bit by bugs. Easy to swim off of dock and launch kayak down ramp. We can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I do a lot of traveling. That being said, we have seen our fair share of rental properties. However, this property “Sheltered Shores” comfortably rests at the TOP of my list. The photos in the listing pale in comparison to the true actual on-site visual representation, henceforth the title I chose to represent this amazing property! Whether you are sitting on the dock, around the fire pit, the screened in porch, the deck, or even washing dishes at the kitchen sink…You are immersed in absolute serenity. The cove is so peaceful and inviting that it takes your breath away, giving way to views that make time stand still. The house is spacious, clean and very well furnished, with a great sense of character. It is quite obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and providing a pleasurable experience. The attention to details and the amenities provided speak clearly that the owners, Amanda and Lee, care about you and truly want you to enjoy your stay. The location is perfect as you are located within 10 – 20 minutes of just about anything you could want. We, the four of us total could never fully express what a true pleasure and blessing it was for us to have the privilege to stay at Sheltered Shores! What an Amazing time we all had! We had such a great time. The house was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The house is right on the lake, which is so beautiful and clear. We enjoyed a couple of the local restaurants. The lighthouse was A+ and we also went to the Italian restaurant. We would love to come back again.

We can't say enough about how nice our stay was. Such a great location, quiet and scenic. Beautiful view every time we looked out of the windows - and there were plenty so you can really enjoy it! The house was exceptionally clean and well decorated, very comfortable from the minute we walked in. Would definitely recommend staying here! Plenty of room, nice kitchen with everything needed, lots of resting/sleep places, very open layout.

We brought our own kayaks and explored the lake. The house is CLEAN, very comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen. We had a couple of rainy days- but still enjoyed our visit. We would definitely stay again at this property. Thanks !

The property was immaculate. Very clean, well stocked comfortable on a beautiful quiet cove. The pictures are representative but the property inside and out is even better than pictures. The owners we the most responsive to our questions (there were no issues) but we had a couple questions and they responded almost instantly. Would rate higher than 5 stars if possible. We can’t wait to return.

Our family loved this house! It actually feels larger than it appears in the photos. It is so comfortable and was very clean upon arrival. The welcome treat was a nice touch too! We were in town for a Clemson football game - the campus is a short drive from the house and made for a great weekend between football and time on the lake. We were excited to have use of three kayaks to paddle around. The lake cove is so peaceful. We enjoyed time on the dock and by the water. The kids enjoyed feeding the fish and playing along the shoreline. It’s an easy and level walk from the house down to the dock (hard to find on Keowee!) which was helpful for the grandparents in our group. Thank you to our fabulous hosts! We hope to visit again some day.

We have rented many properties on Lake Keowee over the years (visit often as I was born and grew up in the area and come back to visit family)- Sheltered Shores is our favorite! The house is beautiful and comfortable, and the views are incredible! So quiet and peaceful - whether on the deck, the screened-in porch, or at the dock or fire pit by the lake. The property is definitely superior in terms of the quality of the furnishings and amenities in the living areas, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The property owners were very responsive to our needs and communicated clearly and often. Can’t wait to go back!

Having access to the garage entry was perfoect for us with one son in a wheelchair. The house was immacuately clean and very cozily decorated. Our 17 year old son and his friend loved their upstairs 'hangout' and sleeping space. The house sits near the end of a cove on the lake, making it perfect for safe swimming, kayaking and noise free relaxation on the dock. Amanda and Lee really have a gem here at Sheltered Shores and our family will definitely be back! Thank you Amanda and Lee for everything, we were very blessed by our stay in your home. The house was everything I imagined from the VRBO listing. Lake front lawn is perfect to get sun and shade, level and has the ramp into the water. There is also a dock that we used for fishing and swimming. The house was very clean and comfortable. Nice large living space and a large screened porch. Thank you!

This was our second time staying here and there’s a reason we came back. It’s a great setting for our annual family vacation. Our teenager loved that he could have his own space in the room over the garage. Our 3 year old slept great in one of the other bedrooms and we were very comfortable in the master bedroom. The gently sloped yard is great for the kids playing and fishing. We had everything we needed and it’s clear that the owner cares about providing a great experience. We had to work with the owner on a minor issue and she was very proactive and responsive. You really feel like you’re being taken care of and they care about you having a great stay! We will most likely be back since the kids keep asking to go back.

My wife and I do a lot of traveling. That being said, we have seen our fair share of rental properties. However, this property “Sheltered Shores” comfortably rests at the TOP of my list. The photos in the listing pale in comparison to the true actual on-site visual representation, henceforth the title I chose to represent this amazing property! Whether you are sitting on the dock, around the fire pit, the screened in porch, the deck, or even washing dishes at the kitchen sink…You are immersed in absolute serenity. The cove is so peaceful and inviting that it takes your breath away, giving way to views that make time stand still. The house is spacious, clean and very well furnished, with a great sense of character. It is quite obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and providing a pleasurable experience. The attention to details and the amenities provided speak clearly that the owners, Amanda and Lee, care about you and truly want you to enjoy your stay. The location is perfect as you are located within 10 – 20 minutes of just about anything you could want. We have stayed at this property every summer for three years, and we plan on coming back again. This home is located in a great little cove near South Cove Park. It's easy to put your boat in at South Cove and dock it at the house. The cove is quite, deep and easy to access. The home has a gentle sloping yard which makes it an easy walk from the house to the water. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. It's very clean and in a great neighborhood. It's also close to the movie theaters and the grocery store, but we spend almost all of our time at the house and at the dock. Our boys love swimming and fishing off the dock. This week we caught several brim, a few channel catfish and a bass right off the dock. If we ever have a question for the owners, they are just a text away and very responsive. We'll be back!

We stayed at this property for a week and had a wonderful experience. The house sits close to the lake and is on a flat lot which allows for beautiful lake views from the den, screened-in porch and deck. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with necessary appliances/gadgets. The property has fun toys to enjoy in the water - noodles, googles, kayaks, floats. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had no issue docking it there. The house is in a cove with many other houses but there wasn’t too much boat traffic, making it easy to enjoy swimming across the cove or just floating. (note, we were there Monday through Saturday. The cove may be busier on the weekend) The homeowners were wonderful about communication and responded quickly to our questions. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy Lake Keowee.

Lee and Amanda have a beautiful home on the lake. This was our third stay and each time it gets better! The little touches they add each your, not to mention the amazing new deck last year, make it the perfect spot for our family. To begin, I would like to recognize our host(s) Lee and Amanda. Their communication leading up to our stay was amazing. It made me feel confident that we would have no issues. Upon arrival my family was excited to see the message on the chalkboard in the kitchen with a thank you card and pastries (great touch). The house was clean, full of character, and stocked with everything we needed. The views were amazing and so relaxing. There are so many good things about the location and the property. As I am writing this review, I am trying to think of at least one thing that we had issues with or fell short of expectations (we can’t). All in all, my family and I plan on booking this house again.

As a family we have been renting houses on Lake Keowee for many years now. This is our favorite so far! The location is ideal and the house has plenty of room for the kids and adults. The lot is nice and flat which makes it great for the kids and hauling things back and forth from the dock. The AC was cold and the water pressure was great. We’ve stayed at other places where neither was the case and this was a nice change. The owners left a nice welcoming note and treat for us at check in and they were very easy to communicate with. It’s a quiet neighborhood which is what we like. I wouldn’t stay here if you were planning on throwing a big block party. It’s more of a quiet family atmosphere which was perfect for us. The kayaks were a great added bonus for the kids to play with and the swimming off the dock is great. The water is deep and clean so it’s nice to swim there. There’s also plenty of room for my boat to keep there. We did have a minor issue with a doorknob breaking but the owners were very responsive and Lee was there the next day fixing it. Overall it was perfect for our yearly family vacation to the lake. We most likely will be returning next year. It’s refreshing to see VRBO owners take such pride in taking care of the property and people who stay there.

We were there to fish a tournament. We had 6 adults 5 vehicles and three bass boats. We had plenty of room for parking. House was clean and exactly as described. House was clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again! Owner was great for communication. 10 out of 10

The property was immaculate. Very clean, well stocked comfortable on a beautiful quiet cove. The pictures are representative but the property inside and out is even better than pictures. The owners we the most responsive to our questions (there were no issues) but we had a couple questions and they responded almost instantly. Would rate higher than 5 stars if possible. We can’t wait to return.

We traveled down to Lake Keowee to celebrate Easter and help our Clemson daughter start her move out process. This property was perfect. It is about 20 minutes from Clemson and the perfect little spot to relax and be with family. The property owners were great and had everything you may need to feel at home. The views are breathtaking and my family did not want to leave. If we need a place to stay in the future we will defiantly book again.

We can't say enough about how nice our stay was. Such a great location, quiet and scenic. Beautiful view every time we looked out of the windows - and there were plenty so you can really enjoy it! The house was exceptionally clean and well decorated, very comfortable from the minute we walked in. Would definitely recommend staying here! Plenty of room, nice kitchen with everything needed, lots of resting/sleep places, very open layout.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful time at Lake Keowee! This home was the perfect size for us. It had everything we needed for a week on the lake. The dock is easily accessible from the house, located in a quite and deep cove. We all loved swimming, fishing and canoeing off the dock. We also rented a boat and were allowed to dock the boat at house. We were able to take a short boat ride to the Lighthouse Restaurant. We were also very close to South Cove and Lake Keowee Marina. We had a great time. If we go back to Lake Keowee next summer, we'll definitely book this house again. The owners were so nice and accommodating, and very responsive!! Highly recommend!!

The home view of the beautiful emerald colored lake was breath taking. There was plenty of room to hang out as a family as well as ample space to have alone time. Everything from restaurants to grocery stores are a very short drive. The owners were responsive and helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be staying there again in the future!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving week and the house was perfect for our group. The lot is not steep at all (rare for Keowee) and it has big water-type views while being in a quiet cove. The house was well appointed and the mid-lake location is very convenient to Seneca shops and restaurants. Very comfortable, lots of space, and the hosts were attentive and helpful. Look forward to staying there again!

We had such a great time. The house was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The house is right on the lake, which is so beautiful and clear. We enjoyed a couple of the local restaurants. The lighthouse was A+ and we also went to the Italian restaurant. We would love to come back again.

The house was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with necessary appliances/gadgets. The property has fun toys to enjoy in the water - noodles, googles, kayaks, floats. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had no issue docking it there. The house is in a cove with many other houses but there wasn’t too much boat traffic, making it easy to enjoy swimming across the cove or just floating. (note, we were there Monday through Saturday. The cove may be busier on the weekend) The homeowners were wonderful about communication and responded quickly to our questions. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy Lake Keowee.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful time at Lake Keowee! This home was the perfect size for us. It had everything we needed for a week on the lake. The dock is easily accessible from the house, located in a quite and deep cove. We all loved swimming, fishing and canoeing off the dock. We also rented a boat and were allowed to dock the boat at house. We were able to take a short boat ride to the Lighthouse Restaurant. We were also very close to South Cove and Lake Keowee Marina. We had a great time. If we go back to Lake Keowee next summer, we'll definitely book this house again. The owners were so nice and accommodating, and very responsive!! Highly recommend!!

The home view of the beautiful emerald colored lake was breath taking. There was plenty of room to hang out as a family as well as ample space to have alone time. Everything from restaurants to grocery stores are a very short drive. The owners were responsive and helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be staying there again in the future!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving week and the house was perfect for our group. The lot is not steep at all (rare for Keowee) and it has big water-type views while being in a quiet cove. The house was well appointed and the mid-lake location is very convenient to Seneca shops and restaurants. Very comfortable, lots of space, and the hosts were attentive and helpful. Look forward to staying there again!

We brought our own kayaks and explored the lake. The house is CLEAN, very comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen. We had a couple of rainy days- but still enjoyed our visit. We would definitely stay again at this property. Thanks !

My family loves this house. It's in a nice quite cove with easy access to the water and close to Seneca. The house is well stocked. This was our 4th year staying at this house and we love it every time!

This lovely lake house exceeded our expectations. We rented for a week in June to celebrate my husband’s birthday with family. The house was spotless. Beds were made, plenty of towels on hand and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, gadgets, and appliances. Daily breakfast on the deck overlooking the quiet lake and evening cocktails on the dock watching the sunset - sooo relaxing. I swam almost every day in the beautiful clear lake. We rented a pontoon boat at High Falls Boat rental and docked it at the house. We took several leisurely excursions around the lake including lunch at The Lighthouse Restaurant (dock & dine). My sister and I had a great time shopping in downtown Seneca at M.Tannery & Sons followed by a delicious lunch at Mayberry’s. Communication with Amanda was great! We had a wonderful stay. The home was immaculate, exceptionally clean, and felt almost brand new. It was well furnished, comfortable, and offered beautiful lake views that made it a great spot for a family vacation.The property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay on the water. The only thing future guests should be aware of is the steep walk down to the dock, which may be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns. Other than that, the experience was excellent, and we would gladly stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our time at the house. It was so nice to wake up in the morning (from sleeping well in the comfortable beds), walk into the living room, and see the lake from all of the windows. We spent as much time outside as we could on the deck and on the dock. The showers were great with good water pressure and everything was clean. We enjoyed playing one of the board games and looking for the ducks. The little extras made this place stand out from other rentals.
