We had a fantastic stay at Blue Heron House! Cabin was exceptionally clean and everything we needed was provided by the hosts. Great location - 10 minutes between GOTL and Ashtabula and a very clean and quiet Walnut Beach. I highly recommend Purola's - great calzones and service! The neighborhood was very quiet too, even with some construction happening with new cabins. We saw people were at other cabins but we never heard them! The hosts were very attentive and checked in throughout the week to make sure we had what we needed and to make suggestions on things to do which we really appreciated. We loved the loft area to hang out, play games and read. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend for couples, families with younger children or a small group of friends!

It was OK EXCEPT FOR the construction that started every am @ 7:30 ( I realize that you have no control over), you have mice we saw 2, it is supposed to accommodate 4 people, there were only 3 of us, not enough places to sit & be comfortable. NO BEACH ACCESS??? No grill to cook on, the fire pit wasn't helpful in the rain. NO SALT?? I didn't realize that the beaches in your area suck. Thanks anyway & don't worry we won't be back

We rented this cabin with another couple, so that we could go to the wineries and stay close. It was the perfect distance from the wineries. Not too far and easy to get to. The cabin had everything we needed, it was clean and comfy. Our friends rented the cabin next to us and we cooked out over the fire. It was wonderful, and we will be back!

The cabin sets in a nice cluster of similar sites right in between Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake. It was clean, roomy, and quiet at night. Some sites are still under construction, and there was tree removal going on; however, that is not the fault of the property owner. Would definitely recommend for a summer get away.

We booked this cabin for the 2024 solar eclipse. We loved it so much that we extended our trip! We appreciate all the effort Joe and Amy put into decorating the cabin. It had so many creative touches, and we loved the Easter decorations and twinkle lights. The cabin was so clean and cozy. We felt instantly relaxed upon arrival with the beautiful view. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and chill out. We spent so much time on the porch relaxing while looking at the beautiful Lake Erie. We loved the sound of the blackbirds and a bald eagle flew right by us. We were even lucky enough to experience an incredible total solar eclipse from the firepit area outside. The surrounding areas are amazing to explore - we loved Ashtabula, Walnut Beach, the Giant Eagle grocery, Murphy’s Pub, Rennick´s Meat Market, Marianne‘s Chocolates, Breakaway Beach, and we took a one hour day trip to Presque Isle State Park. We will always remember this trip and were very sad to leave the cabin. We would love to stay here again one day.

BlueHeronHouse is a cabin with all the cozy touches of home. It is close to Lake Erie and Ashtabula in the township Geneva on the Lake. Great food within 20 minutes and the loft provides a game area and a chill spot. we enjoyed our anniversary stay. Thanks Joe and Amy

This was a nice spot to stay after a day of antique shopping and walking the strip in Geneva-On-Lake. Very quiet area. The cabin is very nicely decorated. There were even a few snacks and coffee. We will definitely be back and next time hope to stay for more than one night.

This place was so cute. My boyfriend and I only stayed for one night but we would love to come back in the future. The beams up by the ceiling could use a little dusting but everything else was perfect. It is VERY small. Perfect for a couple (or even 2 couples) but it would be tight with kids

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful cabin for 4 nights/5 days. It was clean and beautiful decorated. It was just what we needed to be able to relax and enjoyed time together. It was very close to hiking trails and not far from PA or Cleveland OH. Contact with the owners was easy and everything was wonderful. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone.

Nice cabin that has all you need in a great location just steps from Lake Erie. The top loft is a bit cramped, especially if you’re tall. But overall a great stay!

We had an excellent time when staying here. We decided to stay an extra night and the owner was very accommodating. We will definitely stay at to this same cabin when visiting Geneva on the Lake.

This house was exactly as pictured/described! Such a lovely little cottage in a quiet area! Close to food and fun in Geneva-on-the-Lake and the owners were quick to respond to all our questions! 10/10!!

It had so many creative touches, and we loved the Easter decorations and twinkle lights. The cabin was so clean and cozy. We felt instantly relaxed upon arrival with the beautiful view. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and chill out. We spent so much time on the porch relaxing while looking at the beautiful Lake Erie. We loved the sound of the blackbirds and a bald eagle flew right by us. We were even lucky enough to experience an incredible total solar eclipse from the firepit area outside. The surrounding areas are amazing to explore - we loved Ashtabula, Walnut Beach, the Giant Eagle grocery, Murphy’s Pub, Rennick´s Meat Market, Marianne‘s Chocolates, Breakaway Beach, and we took a one hour day trip to Presque Isle State Park. We will always remember this trip and were very sad to leave the cabin. We would love to stay here again one day.

BlueHeronHouse is a cabin with all the cozy touches of home. It is close to Lake Erie and Ashtabula in the township Geneva on the Lake. Great food within 20 minutes and the loft provides a game area and a chill spot. we enjoyed our anniversary stay. Thanks Joe and Amy

This was a nice spot to stay after a day of antique shopping and walking the strip in Geneva-On-Lake. Very quiet area. The cabin is very nicely decorated. There were even a few snacks and coffee. We will definitely be back and next time hope to stay for more than one night.

What a perfect cabin to just get away!! Was allowed to check in early, super clean, had Christmas decorations out including a little tree with games to be played. The added little decorative lights to every room added the perfect touch! Come beds and just down the road a new favorite restaurant ~ Basculle Bridge Grill!! amazing food and service!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful cabin for 4 nights/5 days. It was clean and beautiful decorated. It was just what we needed to be able to relax and enjoyed time together. It was very close to hiking trails and not far from PA or Cleveland OH. Contact with the owners was easy and everything was wonderful. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay at Blue Heron House! Cabin was exceptionally clean and everything we needed was provided by the hosts. Great location - 10 minutes between GOTL and Ashtabula and a very clean and quiet Walnut Beach. I highly recommend Purola's - great calzones and service! The neighborhood was very quiet too, even with some construction happening with new cabins. We saw people were at other cabins but we never heard them! The hosts were very attentive and checked in throughout the week to make sure we had what we needed and to make suggestions on things to do which we really appreciated. We loved the loft area to hang out, play games and read. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend for couples, families with younger children or a small group of friends!

The cabin sets in a nice cluster of similar sites right in between Ashtabula and Geneva on the Lake. It was clean, roomy, and quiet at night. Some sites are still under construction, and there was tree removal going on; however, that is not the fault of the property owner. Would definitely recommend for a summer get away.

Nice cabin that has all you need in a great location just steps from Lake Erie. The top loft is a bit cramped, especially if you’re tall. But overall a great stay!

This is the perfect location. We were close enough to the strip that we could just drive to everything there. We were close enough to the wineries that we could enjoy them also. Your addition of the fire pit area was great. I would come back to this location anytime that we could get away. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the decorations in the cabin as well.

We rented this cabin with another couple, so that we could go to the wineries and stay close. It was the perfect distance from the wineries. Not too far and easy to get to. The cabin had everything we needed, it was clean and comfy. Our friends rented the cabin next to us and we cooked out over the fire. It was wonderful, and we will be back!

Cute and very clean cabin!! Bed was comfortable . Although the cabin was surrounded by cabins with no real privacy outside, it was quiet and peaceful. and we loved being able to walk the lakefront and sit in the bench there . Easy to explore from , we loved all the covered bridges near by. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Perfect place to wake up on my birthday!
