Promitheas Villa, with Pool & Heated Spa Whirlpool, By ThinkVilla

We came as a family on 10 and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Villa was outstanding with an amazing panoramic view. The Villa was fully equipped with lots of additional items. There were 10 very comfortable sun loungers. A lovely extra touch was the food package and mousaka on arrival and the surprise morning delivery of fresh fruit, veg, yummy cake & donuts, even fresh goat, lamb and homemade chips from the owners own farm and bbq. Die Vermieter sind super nett. Sie empfingen uns mit einem großen Obstkorb, gefülltem Kühlschrank, sogar einer vorbereiteten Moussaka. Jeden Morgen frische Badetücher und ein gereinigter Grill und eine kleine Überraschung. Von der Villa kann man das Meer und in die Berge sehen. Zu Fuß sind es nur einn paar Minuten zum Strand in Bali. Der Highway ist zwar in Hör- und Sichtweite, war aber für uns kein Problem.

The place is quiet and pastoral, not far from Heraklion with an amazing view between the mountain and the bay. The villa is clean, tidy, very comfortable and equipped with everything you need and beyond. We came for a family vacation with children aged 2.5 and 5 and 5 adults. There are lots of options to keep kids busy. A children's pool and games, an aquarium one hour away, a water park very close and artisan villages. There is a selection of good restaurants nearby But mostly we enjoyed our hosts Zoe and her lovely family who took care of everything we needed (and there wasn't much) spoiled us and created an amazing connection, for that I thank you very much dear Zoe. It is highly recommended.

Our stay at Promitheas Villa could not have been better. A lovely well equipped comfortable villa. Fabulous views of the mountains and the coast. The pool was a hit with us all, especially the children. Our hosts next door were so lovely. A much appreciated moussaka and well stocked fridge awaited our arrival, so we didn’t have to bother about shopping or going out for a meal on the first night. They also left us pastries and little cakes on some days, we really appreciated this lovely touch. The local, shops and restaurants were great, and an easy stroll, as was the beach. Our hosts drove us to a supermarket that was a bit further away when we wanted to cook for ourselves on the BBQ. They are so welcoming and friendly, for a family holiday this villa is ideal.

The villa is spacious both inside and outside with plenty of seating and lots of different areas to enjoy the view. We were able to walk into Bali (15 mins) and our hosts left us lots of little treats and brought us a homemade moussaka on two occasions which we just needed to pop in the oven and it was delicious. We had plenty of fruit and fresh vegetables provided as well as donuts which the kids thought were amazing. Although the villa was attached to the owners property it still felt very private. Would definitely recommend this amazing property and Nostos bar/restaurant in Bali did fantastic cocktails and food and became a firm favourite during our stay.
