Coastal Waters 213, 2Nd-Floor Condo With Ocean Views

Stay was good. Right on the beach and pool was clean. Could use a few updates abut overall was a good stay and enjoyed our time.

AC was window units. One in the bedroom and one in the living area. Convenient to the beach. Parking was minimal. We had to use the overflow each night across Atlantic Blvd. We saw one roach in the bathroom and a few very tiny black bugs in the bathroom.

The room stunk, literally. We bought air fresheners and opened windows but the stink never really left. We bought a battery so the clock would work, and the ceiling light in the couch area only light in area didn't work. The maintenance man said it is a broken switch. Minimal silverware, only 1 knife. The pool area was nice, but overall-steps, windows are not well maintained. We left 2 days early, we were done with it.

Loved it. Easy beach access. Great view of ocean from room. At night, left balcony open to hear the waves. Will stay again.

Pros: great location on the beach. Pool is heated and clean. This unit has so much POTENTIAL. There is a vintage charm that I fell in love with. Con’s: The building needs a significant amount of maintenance. At arrival, the lobby code to get into the building would not work. After calling the booking agent I was informed that the code had been changed. After finding the until, my door code wouldn’t work either so once again I contacted the agent who suggested I use the key in the lock box. She provided the code and the lock box fell apart in my hand but at least I had the key and was inside the unit. The damp smell inside the unit is very intense and allergy inducing. The space could use a DEEP clean.The photos posted on VRBO makes it look much nicer than it actually is. Lack of communication by the host. The only basic necessities provided were a half roll of paper towels and minimal amount of toilet paper.
