Getaway At The Marina

Per the pictures shown, I was under the impression the water view was from outside the room. There is zero view of anything anywhere near this room. It is extremely small & in my opinion overpriced for what it is. There were childrens clothes in the floor in the bathroom so I cant imagine its being cleaned very well. The room was well stocked with towels, linens & coffee. The water dispenser was completely out of water. A full bottle was there however we couldn't switch them because of a large pad lock on it? Strange. Overall a bit disappointed & wouldn't stay again.

Room was clean, well organized, nice homey touches. The Tiki bar and restaurant on site was enjoyable.

Check in did not go smoothly. Reservation booked incorrectly by host. Front desk able to correct error efficiently, thankfully. Unable to get coffee maker to work.

Property decor was very cute. Check-in was super easy. Nice to have a couch to sit on. Extra linens were appreciated. The water dispenser was great to have. The not so great…. Bed was noisy. There was so much humidity in the room that papers we were given, i.e., property map, nearby restaurants, were curling up. Our clothes were damp and towels didn’t dry. The humidity was almost like camping outdoors. The entrance door has gaps pretty much around the entire door.

The property was as advertised. Clean with everything we needed for our stay. Owner was very responsive when I had a question. Front desk people were great and very helpful.
